    Shrimp quesadilla

While in the Cincinnati area for a concert, we stopped here for lunch. My family and I really liked the food. My wife and I had burritos and they were much better than the burritos we find in the Indianapolis area. My daughter loved her shrimp quesadilla. My son didn't really like his chicken tacos but we think that was because he put too much hot sauce on them. The chips and salsa were very good. Service was above average. Atmosphere was average.

We stopped by for an early dinner not realizing that it was Happy Hour. Our drinks were half price!!!! I had a huge margarita and my husband had a beer. Miguel, our server was great! He was funny, friendly and kept an eye on us. He greeted us with comp chips and salsa and started to banter. The menu is traditional. I was craving a salad and had the taco salad with chicken. It was good with a freshly made tortilla shell. My husband had a burrito and enchilada combination plate and raved about the spicy verde sauce. Good meal. The place is colorful and cute inside. Festive Latin music was playing that made me want to get up and dance after that margarita. They have a full bar. I think they are known for their tacos. Next time I would try those. They are located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. Great meal, great fun place, great deal! Will come back.

I know that I give a lot of 4 star ratings but if the food is good and there is nothing wrong with the service and I would come back that is where I usually land. I reserve 5 stars for the best of the best. Given that we really enjoyed the food here although oddly there was not another soul in the restaurant at 1:30 in the afternoon. My peach mango margarita was delicious and refreshing. I also ordered the birria tacos and enjoyed those as well. My cousin ordered the nachos, al pastor version and also a tamale on the side. I would suggest that if you are getting the nachos make sure you have a friend with you as the plate of nachos they brought out was huge! She really liked them and her tamale which she said was perfect. The interior has a lot of interesting artwork on the walls and is mostly like any other Mexican restaurant interior. We would stop here again if in the neighborhood.

Came here on Taco Tuesday where they had $2 tacos I got one steak and one chicken. They came on corn tortillas. And of course they served chips and salsa. The salsa was spicy but it was good. I loved the tacos they were pretty good and pretty flavorful to me. The restaurant was located in like a strip mall but it was actually big on the inside. I also ordered a margarita. Which was pretty good and big for the price. And a side of rice which of course is always delicious.

If 3-stars is Okay; this is a 2.5-star review, I really wanted to enjoy a great Mexican meal, but Don Chago did not live up to the experiences of other reviewers. The business was essentially empty on a Monday at dinner time. Weird. The chips and salsa arrived promptly. Both are excellent! The mixed fajitas (shrimp, beef & chicken) followed shortly - hot food, hot. Plenty of tortillas! The beef - just, ugh. Three large pieces of gristle hiding amongst the edible beef. No problems with the shrimp or pork. Service was excellent. The beer was ice cold. The restroom - good grief. The urinal was not draining and filled to the brim with stinking urine that had been ignored for too damn long - all day? Disgusting. Will I return? Probably not.

It seems to be hit or miss when trying New Mexican restaurants. This one however, is a definite home run! The chips (while a bit plain) were far outweighed by the deliciousness of the salsa! Wow! Good stuff! I ordered the chicken fajitas and my coworker created her own bowl. We were both very impressed and happy with what we were served. Good flavor, texture, and temperature. The iced tea was also fresh and very good. Love the crushed ice! Our server (Ricardo L.) was fantastic. This place is a gem!

Very friendly service and huge portions. There is something for everyone. Loved the veggie bowl. Brought me extra beans, too. Three people shared a Hawaiian torta and carnitas nachos with leftovers!

We were in town for WGI final at the University of Dayton. We happened to see reviews for this restaurant and thought we'd give it a try. The service was excellent. What can I say about the portions! They were huge and you can't leave the place hungry. The price was very reasonable. We will be back next year when we return for the contest.

It's now called Don Chago's. I recommend this place! We went for lunch on a Thursday afternoon. The nachos were SOOOO GOOD!! Everyone (even the picky ones) loved their food. The chimichanga, the tacos, the salsa - all really delicious. The 12 Oz margarita was really good frozen. The one that my friend got on the rocks was not quite as good. Our server was adorable, very attentive and sweet. Inside it's kind of a modern industrial look/feel. It's pretty cool

Great birria tacos and Mango margaritas are a must try! Plenty of parking, good atmosphere and great hospitality my the bartender.

There was a DJ & a dance floor, but very few people were dancing, which was disappointing. The place itself was cool with colorful lights & fun graffiti-like walls, but the aesthetic was let down by the lack of people. We enjoyed the free popcorn & I really liked my drink, the downside up, although I realize it's probably too sweet for most. Unfortunately, the cocktail & popcorn didn't make up for the dead atmosphere & we left pretty quickly. I would be interested in going again & seeing what it would be like when it's lively; I imagine it would be a fun spot when the dance floor is full!

It was a nice night so we took advantage of being able to sit outside. I love all the random art and set up of the back. To drink I had the chunker, which was gin in a San Pelegríno it was a very refreshing drink! Deceptively doesn't taste like alcohol. I noticed some people with white claws and little airplane bottles so naturally I have to have a strong claw as well. We also had some very tasty shots, all around we had a good time, just hanging out and enjoying drinks, can't wait to come back here and visit again!

Food: 5/5 Dishes are explained as slightly larger plates than tapas style. My favorites: Wood Grilled Octopus, Crispy Falafel, Bouillabaisse. Love the Moroccan Mint Tea as well! Service: 4.7/5 Very friendly! They course out your plates for you which I always love. They were able to accommodate my pescatarian diet (I.e., meats on the side to give to others at the table). On a less busy night, they offered a free toast for my birthday. I've been for other celebratory dinners here on busier nights where that hasn't happened, so it was a lovely surprise! Ambiance: 4/5 A little busy and can get loud on the weekends with table chatter, cutlery clinks, and the brick walls echoing noise around. Tables are also close together, so you can definitely hear the conversation next to you. The decor is pleasant and the lighting is soft and romantic enough that it is still a perfect date night spot! There are also a couple larger crescent booths for larger parties.
