Excellent as usual. The place is very casual. They have a bar. There are really good drinks. The service is fast and friendly. I love the food!

My boss and I were trying to find a good Mexican restaurant near Anderson Township that we hadn't tried yet when I remembered this spot in Amelia. I've driven by it a few times but never got to check it out. Overall, it turned out to be a really good place too. We went on a Thursday for lunch and it was moderately busy. The place itself is pretty big and has lots of seating though nothing outside. Their bar area is pretty big too. The menu has what you'd expect from a locally owned Mexican restaurant and their libations menu seemed pretty nice (especially the margaritas, though I couldn't indulge since I was still on the clock). Our server was fantastic and very attentive. We started out with some chips and guac. Honestly, I felt the guacamole could've been better. I felt it lacked much flavor but it was very fresh. As for our main courses, I ordered the Los Cabos enchiladas (ground beef on corn tortillas) and my boss ordered the fajita taco salad. It wasn't a long wait at all before it was all ready. I definitely enjoyed my enchiladas and thought the sauce was very tasty. My boss seemed to like his taco salad too and was surprised by how big it was. Seriously, it looked like an extra-large taco made for a giant! Also, the price was very nice. Asside from the guac, everything here was excellent, though I'm curious to try one of their margaritas if I stop by again, likely with my lady. Maybe we'll dine here before checking out a movie at Starlite Drive-in and make it a full date night (don't tell her I'm planning this ).

Date night for the hubs and I. We thought we'd try something different and boy were we pleased! Service was great! Thanks to Josue. We had the guacamole appetizer and oh my goodness, that is some fantastic guacamole! I had the steak and Shrimp Fajitas and Scott had the Sonora Burrito. It was more food than we could think of finishing. Oh my goodness it was soo good too! The prices were so reasonable for the quality, flavor and quantity of food we got.

Mine was so unappetizing that I couldn't eat it. Got a box to go and then forgot it on the table when I left. I ordered the Enchiladas Suiza. It comes with green sauce. Not mine. It was served with melted cheese and a couple of pieces of canned green chilies were sprinkled under the cheese. I've had this elsewhere and know what to expect. Also, their menu here shows the green sauce that is typical for the dish and it mentions the green sauce in the description. The chicken pieces were dry, unseasoned and very chewy. The tortillas were gooey. My husband's Coconut Shrimp was so overcooked that it was hard to bite into and hard to chew. The rice with it was terrible. The mango salsa served with the shrimp was the only decent item on the plate. He left most of his food also. We won't return. We gave this place three tries. It's just not good food. The service was friendly and quick. It's the only thing positive about this restaurant.

We were greeted warmly and led to a cozy table in the back. Our waitress was super friendly and bubbly, but also patient as we took a while to determine what we want. This is a place you unfortunately have to pay for your chips and salsa, but it is worth. The chips come fresh and the salsa is so good! We also tried the Rincon dip, which was warm, cheesy, gooey, and had great flavor. They have a really good queso. My friend got one of their burritos and I got the fajita quesadilla with chicken. With your entree you get to pick your sides, so we both got mexican salad and I got refried beans, while she got black beans. Everything was awesome! I should've expected to love that quesadilla as much as I did after enjoyed the queso in the Rincon dip, but I will still blown away. The chicken was well seasoned, the cheese was great and there was a good amount, and the veggies were fresh and really added to the quesadilla. My friend loved the burrito and couldn't finish it because it was so much food. We also both got margaritas, which are a little pricey, but we enjoyed them a lot! I have found my new favorite mexican place in the area. The service was great, the prices are comparable to other places around, and the food is much better! You also get a discount at the register if you pay with cash (so plan in advance). I highly recommend coming here!

It has been posted up in front of the Marathon gas station on old 74 for a bit now. If you were driving by you might miss it, but the buzz surrounding it was so much so, that I just had to try them out. The first time I stopped by was around 3pm on my way home and several other people were also in line. The very kind owner instantly greeted me and explained what they had that day. He took my order and they got to work. The people already waiting raved about the place and were super friendly. Everyone, including the staff, chatted and it made the wait go by quick. I ordered the chicken tacos, and the carnitas tacos. The owner had recommended just 2, but I had been accustomed to quite small tacos at other places so I got 4. Boy was he right, they were so packed full of meat that I could barely finish two! The other two made a great second meal at a later time! The corn tortillas were delicious and very authentic. Each succulent and very flavorful meat was topped with onions, cilantro and your choice of green, red, or hot sauce or all of the above. For my first time the owner recommended I try each separately with the hot sauce on the side. Also included was fresh lime and a grilled poblano pepper. Everything was amazing and I can confidently say this is the best authentic tacos I have ever had, anywhere. I cant say I have a favorite sauce because they each have sensational flavor, including the hot sauce. One try and I was hooked. I started following them on Facebook to catch certain days where they had special tacos, such as steak (which cost a tiny bit more due to the quality of the steak meat). The steak was just as amazing. They also serve breakfast. The second time I visited I did not know the extra cost until I received my order. Since it is cash only, I did not have enough. A kind person in line, who also shared the addiction to this spot, gifted me the $2 I was short. I hope to pay this forward in the future at another visit to my magical friendly neighborhood taco dealer! This isnt just great food, its an experience full of great people... who are also observing covid safety despite being outside btw.
