Great meal... only comments are: (1) no cheese is listed on quesadilla del mi camino but covers the quesadilla and beans. (2) chicken maxi is too pricey for just chicken and rice (and cheese, but we are casein free). $9.09 is too high I think is all although it is a decent portion. Chips were not warm but still good tasting. read more

This is, quite frankly, the worst Mexican food we've ever had. Seriously, it's bad. It's overcooked and flavorless. The chips & salsa were fine. The entrees were not good at all. Mine was so unappetizing that I couldn't eat it. Got a box to go and then forgot it on the table when I left. I ordered the Enchiladas Suiza. It comes with green sauce. Not mine. It was served with melted cheese and a couple of pieces of canned green chilies were sprinkled under the cheese. I've had this elsewhere and know what to expect. Also, their menu here shows the green sauce that is typical for the dish and it mentions the green sauce in the description. The chicken pieces were dry, unseasoned and very chewy. The tortillas were gooey. My husband's Coconut Shrimp was so overcooked that it was hard to bite into and hard to chew. The rice with it was terrible. The mango salsa served with the shrimp was the only decent item on the plate. He left most of his food also. We won't return. We gave this place three tries. It's just not good food. The service was friendly and quick. It's the only thing positive about this restaurant. read more

Unfortunately this is the only option for Mexican food in the area. The food is just ok, not terrible but definitely not great. Stopped in today while waiting for tires on my truck. Looking at the menu, I noticed there is a daily lunch special until 3 pm. It was 2:54 and the server didn't want to let us have the lunch special until. My husband held up his phone to show him the time and he reluctantly let us order off the lunch menu. Why have a lunch special if you don't want to honor it? Used to go here on occasion but that did it for us. No more. read more

We stopped out here because we were in the era on an errand. Oh what a surprise. All 4 of us loved our food. Great portions for the price, food was amazing some of the best Mexican I've had(I used to work in the southwestern USA a lot). Service was awesome as well. It's about a 45 minute drive from the house but it's well worth it. read more

The last thing you expect would be fresh and tasty Mexican food in the middle or rural Ohio. The food was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. Not as good as Ortega. The salmon here is dry. Ortega salmon is 10 x better. The people here need to go eat at Ortega

Mi Camino Real - a puppy playing with a frisbee - Mexican Near Me - Mount Orab, Ohio

Wanted to like it but just couldn't. Chips seemed fresh out of a bag and the salsa was so watery. Chimichanga was soggy with too many green peppers. Rice was only a bit above room temp. Beans were ok. Won't be going back. read more

This is my second visit here. I ordered something different than usual. Chicken fajita chimichanga and it was better than I anticipated. Definitely a new fav for me. Margaritas were great. Service was good. Maybe a little slow but it was a busy Friday night. read more

Been coming here for years. Food and service use to be great. But in the last 3 to 4 months the service, cleanliness and food quality have gone down hill. This appears to have started after 2 key people left Juan and Caesar. read more

Great food, great prices, yummy gold margaritas and hard working staff. If you are out that way, give it a try!

Food was great! But my rice was undercooked and crunchy, which I couldn't really enjoy the entire meal. The service on the other hand, they're very polite. The ambiance is awesome, lots of colors and decor. read more

We were passing through the area and were starving. Mi Camino Real hit the spot and left us stuffed and with a little bit of leftovers. The restaurant was clean and the servers were fast and friendly. I liked the murals that graced the walls. Nice touch! Oh, and there was complimentary nacho chips and salsa. The food itself was well priced and the large portions packed in lots of flavor. I had some sort of vegetarian combo with a bean burrito, cheese enchilada, and chalupa. I topped this off with a fresh Negro Modelo. Price for 2 people was around $32. Parking was plentiful and nearby. The highway entrance is also close as well. read more

Classic SW OH Mexican food of good quality and reasonably priced. Wait staff very friendly and courteous. Made honest menu suggestions that were spot on. Wide variety of entrées available. Tasty appetizer salsa served with freshly made chips. & Saturday night features $1.25 margaritas that are actually drinkable. Will definitely be coming back here another evening for dinner. read more

Mi Camino Real - Smaller dining area - Mexican Near Me - Mount Orab, Ohio

My husband and I went here over the weekend for our anniversary. The camarón camino, coconut camarón, camarón nachos, and a Chile rellenos. The camarón camino is stuffed shrimp, wrapped in bacon, covered with cheese, served with oranges. It was fantastic! The coconut shrimp was served with a delicious sweet chili sauce and a wonderful warm pineapple and mango dish, seasoned with chili powder. I though it might be strange but it was so good. The shrimp nachos were typical put yummy. The rellenos, sadly, was not what I had expected. We always get a Chile rellenos at every Mexican place we go and this one was quite different. Maybe it was more authentic? Or not? Either way, I have had better ones. It was alright but not great. The sauce was watery and the meat did not add to it. Regardless, we would highly recommend everything else they have to offer. The service was good, the food was yummy, and the prices were reasonable for the portion sizes. read more

Love this place. Food is great. Lots of authentic Mexican items on the menus and other things die "gringos" too. Fast friendly service.

Great service. The food was good. I had the shrimp fajitas. The flavor was outstanding but shrimp was slightly over cooked. My husband had the "special dinner". It was, in his words "Okay". My daughter had the Fajita de Piña. She was extremely impressed. The guacamole was okay but a little bland. The salsa was great. Loved the warm chips. read more

Favorite Mexican place ever!! Food is always fresh and amazing and everyone is so friendly!

A muy bueno restaurant. They have authentic Mexican cuisine and the staff is always friendly. You'll probably spend $10-15 a person, but the portion sizes are worth what you pay for. read more

Great place to eat in a small town! My partner and I have been coming to Mount Orab for the past 6 weeks or so for business and have eaten here every week. Good, basic Mexican food that is always piping hot. I love the fresh cilantro in the salsa as well as the fact that they actually make their guacamole instead of getting it out of a bag like some places. Prices are pretty good and their 2.99 margarita on Mondays and Tuesdays is a deal I always take advantage of. Staff are friendly and remember you, check it out! read more

All but this last time going there has been a wonderful experience! The server wasn't listening to what my daughter was ordering. Instead of getting a medium rare steak and a sweet tea she got a medium steak and a unsweetened tea. I do highly recommend, food is good read more
