Chicken chimichanga - A plate of Mexican cuisine includes a chicken chimichanga covered in cheese sauce, accompanied by rice, refried beans with melted cheese, guacamole, sour cream, and a side of salsa. The dish is served on a white oval plate, with a small bowl of sauce or soup in the background, and a basket of tortilla chips on the table.

I had the chicken chimichanga and my hubby had the enchiladas supreme. Everything was delicious. We will definitely return!

Place was yummy! Service was great, food came out in a timely matter, tasted good! Would visit again!

Food was great! Service was great! 2 things I hope they change/improve... putting more of the white Mexican cheese sauce on their main dishes and putting bottled ketchups on their table instead of giving ketchup packets.

The sign displays the restaurant's name and logo, indicating it is a Mexican grill. The parking lot in front has multiple parked cars and a few black bollards near the entrance. The sky is partly cloudy with a blue background, and residential houses are visible in the distance.

Spot on food and Service. Have been here several times and the service is quick, the place is clean as you get and the owner has great attention to detail! Will be dinning here regularly. It is new so each week there are more people. Get here soon as there will be a wait soon!

If that doesnt say how good it is then let me summarize it a little bit. The lobster feels Fresh, the bread its the perfect ratio for the BIG amount of lobster that they put on them, awesome flavors, great service and the price even though at first glance you may say its a little up there... LOOK AT THE PICS! They dont shy on the lobster meat, its well worth it. 'You wont finish the roll and stay with bread on the hand with no lobster, you may finish it and then use the fork for the lobster that fell on the plate' Highly recommend them!

My first experience was so good, I have been back several more times. Just a great family owned business. Lets talk about the Lobster roll. I am partial to the CT style, which is with butter. Their version was amazing. The roll was done just right. The lobster was high quality meaty chunks and there was plenty of it. It was cooked just right, tender and not rubbery! It comes with a side of Chips. My second try was the Meatball grinder. This was heaven. The meatballs and sauce are fantastic. Again, great bread too! Also comes with a side of chips. Now when I saw they had Hummel Hot Dogs, a New Haven CT Staple, I about lost it. They even had the correct bun, perfectly toasted. Its all about those little details! I enjoyed mine with kraut and cheese! Next up, the clam chowder... it had a nice smoky flavor to it. Finally, the baked Ziti and side of meatballs, which comes with Italian bread and butter. This sauce is "lick your plate clean" worthy. The pasta was al dente and again, these meatballs, omg. They still have several more items I need to try and ive seen some test menu items that are hopefully coming up that look so good! Okay so get the point? If you are craving some real seafood or Italian here in the Midwest, this is where you need to be! Follow them on their Facebook or on Streetfinder to see upcoming locations! The wicker chairs in the section to the left of the bar as you face the bar were unusually deep and low. Over time I think we all adjusted, but sitting in them definitely felt unusual. There are other chairs throughout the restaurant. I recommend finding a table with different chairs. Our waiter was knowledgeable and very efficient. We hadn't checked on the website, but found out Thursday is oyster day, with $1 oysters and fried oysters and $1.50 for Oyster Bienville. The fried oysters were delicious. The raw oysters were good, though I had one that was gritty. We are going again in two weeks and will try the Oyster Bienville along with other assorted oysters. Two of us had the special Pan Seared Sea Bass. It came highly recommended and did not disappoint. The crisp on the top was delicious and the fish itself was delicate and moist. It did indeed melt in my mouth. The potatoes were very good, though I didn't finish all of them. The greens were good. Mark had a ribeye and is still raving about it today. He ordered the preparation version made with just salt and pepper. He also had a cup of gumbo. He said it had an amazing depth of flavor. We wrapped up with dessert. Three folks had Key Lime Pie. I opted for Karma's Opera Crème Cake. Oh my goodness, it was huge, sweet and delicious. I tried a bit of key lime and it just didn't compare. That said, those who had the Key Lime Pie loved it. Not only would we return, but we have the date already scheduled. I'm looking forward to trying something different.

My servers were warm and welcoming. I opted for the fried catfish with rice and gravy and collard greens. The greens were delicious! The catfish was perfectly cooked, flaky and piping hot, however missing the kick of cajun seasoning I yearned for. In all, I found my meal satisfying and of good value. While there were a couple of services misses, the waitresses made up for it by providing me with a sample of the gator bites. All I can say is, "WHOA!". They were absolutely DELICIOUS and seriously the highlight of my night. The cajun sauce served with them is the flavor I expect from Cajun food. That said, ask for the cajun sauce! On your fish, your rice and anything that warrants sauce. lol Dine local.

The quality of the food is great with reasonable pricing. We ordered: Drinks: -Bottle of Kumeu Estate Pinot Noir Dinner: -Wood grilled Salmon- Key lime butter, fresh vegetables, side of Parmesan mashed potatoes -Baja shrimp pasta- seared shrimp, vegetables, fettuccine, goat cheese, bold cream I was amazed with the food. They give you a fairly decent amount. I polished all of mine but my Mr had to get a to go box. He enjoyed it as well. Gabe was our server and he was very down to earth, helpful and attentive. Some seats were next to the indoor fireplace which was great to warm up with before walking in 20 degree weather to your car. We were seated right away and our waiter so so kind, personable and attentive. The food quality was fresh. I was not expecting the chicken options here to be this tender. We had appetizers to keep us occupied until the main entrees were ready and that was a great decision because we were still working taking our time with the appetizers by the time the entrees were ready. My godmother was a fan of the bread. We were too stuffed for desert. Smoked wings: They are not smoked, they are fried but don't let that deter you. It was a good quality wing with a mild buffalo sauce with a tiny smokey elements. Tater tots: Fried just right, seasoning was good. Firebirds Roasted Chicken: Okay I was not expecting a half chicken and was overall happy with the portions cause I knew this was going to make a great lunch tomorrow. I was able to eat this with a fork. I only had to use a knife when trying to cut an attractive piece for my family to try. It's not too sweet, very tender, fresh, good flavor, overall well taken care of bird. The mashed potatoes were a great temperature, mellow, smooth and a great side for the entree.

(I will be booking this option from now on.) I ordered the surf and turf seasonal option with lobster and filet mignon cooked medium. I was surprised when a sea scallop I didn't order and a small glass of wine spritzer popped up but this is part of the chefs table experience - it was a sea scallop grilled with a chimichurri sauce and some crispy prosciutto. I would have never ordered this on my own so it was nice to try. I am a not a huge seafood person - the minute I cut into it I smelled the sea which was a turn off and I wasn't a fan of the texture but once I cut into tiny pieces and mixed with the sauce and the proscuitto I was able to actually find myself enjoying the dish plus boy did it look pretty coming out! The chefs table is nice because you get to watch everything be cooked - the mac and cheese looks amazing every single time - omg I must try it sometime. My waitress was phenomenal with purple and blue hair and the glittery eye shadow. She was so attentive and helpful. The steak was so juicy and cooked perfectly - I think next time I would get a larger steak or the grilled shrimp option as I wasn't the biggest fan of the lobster tail but still finished it. The salad was okay - I wish it had ranch instead. I also got the orange cream cloud for dessert to go which was shockingly light, airy and delicious - the citrus flavors with the passion fruit are so refreshing. I can't wait to come back and try something new . The place is beautifully decorated and they offer free parking options - the music is very low so you can have a conversation and even the chefs table wasn't too loud even though it was right next to the kitchen.
