First of all. If you like pickles then the pickle platter is a MUST. Our entire table opted for the tasting menu, which were very generous portions. I highly enjoyed the foccacia as my starter and enjoyed my crab cake. The steak was very tough and chewy and overall I was pretty disappointed in it. The rhubarb cake was so fluffy and delicious. Absolutely love this place! You will have to wait a while for your food, but it's being prepared from scratch so it's totally worth the wait!! We made a reservation to celebrate a friend's birthday and our table was ready as soon as we arrived. The staff is always super friendly and the menu is VERY accommodating and customizable. Great for all of us with dietary restrictions. They give you the perfect portion size for your food, so you leave full and satisfied. The space is beautiful. The Charcuterie board was a nice way to start (even if the server didn't present it well and mispronounced couple of products on the table) but the duck was not cooked properly in my opinion. The meatballs though were sort of a weird texture and not what we thought they would be. The baseball steak was just not for me. It was not very tender and had sort of a funky flavor. Dishes were not visually inviting - in fact all four of our entrees were "brown" food on blue plates - ugly - and everything needed salt! Because it was our anniversary we didn't complain or send anything back - but we should have. While the description of sides were different we all had the same veggies on our plates while our proteins were different. Bouquet is a gem. We visited for our wedding anniversary and knew ahead of time that we were looking forward to the tasting menu. We decided to bring our small baby so we made an early reservation and opted to sit outside- there was still outside availability at 5:30 but it fills fast! The staff were accommodating and positive, and it was a real treat to sit right on Mainstrasse and watch the pedal pubs and cars and walkers go by on their way to their Saturday evenings. The portions for each course are generous... I'm a hungry nursing mom and my husband always eats everything on his plate, so it was awesome for us! But I can see how it might be a little too much food... if that's even possible! The panzanella salad was gorgeous and fresh. I read some reviews about Bouquet's dishes being salty and I did find the salad salty, but not so much that I didn't enjoy it. For course two I had the tandoori salmon and risotto which was excellent with a delicious crust and soft flaky inside. We both chose the steak for our main course, which was served with beautiful colored potatoes and veggies. We were very full but of course excited for our pastry option... I had the olive oil cake with berries and coconut sorbet which was absolutely delicious to the last bite. ALL of the dishes were colorful and a delight to eat... everything at Bouquet is sourced from farms and changes up quite a bit, and you can tell it's different and intentional and fresh. I would recommend the tasting menu... if you went a la carte, I think you'd either spend a lot more on several courses or end up a little hungry from one of the smaller courses. But on the other hand, because the tasting menu was so much food, I didn't have room for an appetizer or drink, so it would be nice to try some of that a la carte. Our server Caroline was so attentive and kept things excellently timed. She took the time to explain what on the menu was dairy-free and even asked the chef several questions I had about allergens. She was happy to make changes or substitutions to dishes that made sense and were still delicious, and you could tell she had experience with making accommodations for any need. That being said- most dishes on the menu were already allergy friendly, gluten free, dairy free, etc. Most dishes in courses one and two had an animal protein (actually I think all of them did) so it would be a little hard for a vegetarian but I fully trust they are would accommodate with a delicious substitution. We also requested things be brought out quickly because of our baby, which they were happy to make happen. Excellent service overall! They even brought us a delicious hibiscus soda to toast with for our special anniversary occasion. I feel the price point of $70 for the tasting menu is a great deal. Yes, it's more expensive than we would typically spend eating out but we saved it for a special occasion and it was SO much food and delight for the price- definitely one of the best values around. I absolutely loved the atmosphere of Bouquet. It's a small restaurant, but tables were spread out and you didn't feel like you were on top of each other. After a stressful week, it was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine and a delicious meal. I started with the fall salad with a sweet potato puree which was divine! Farm to table fine dining. I went for the tasting menu, which for me was a great experience and well worth the price. I did not consider the entree size unfortunately for those in my party that opted for only one or two items (my bad). The portions were perfect for me but I think most people need a tasting menu to be full. Everything was great! I love how the menu highlighted local items. I do think there's a little to be improved for some plating (for example, a dark sauce as the base on a dark colored dish could have been improved with a lighter dish for better contrast) and seasoning (the salt was a little heavy in some dishes), but those are tiny little things that don't significantly detract from the meal. The bread was amazing! SO fluffy. Loved the sunchoke; I have never had it before. I would come back here with foodie friends willing to drop some $$$. A meal like this in LA would probably be about $85 base so this was a great deal to me, but I think it is probably a little high for others. read more

Grabbed a last minute Tuesday night reservation here! It is a relatively small restaurant and reservations fill up fast, so make sure you plan ahead, especially for weekends! We got our table right away when we got in. We got an assortment of items, starting with drinks: Bouquet Old Fashioned and my wife got a NA Beet of Your Own Drum. Both drinks were superb! We started with their Pickle Board which had an assortment of pickled things (fennel, cucumber, carrot, onions, etc) and it was delicious, came with an assortment of crackers as well. Next my wife had the Seared Sunchoke and I had the Candied Beet Salad. Both were fantastic, though I think the Sunchoke was my favorite of the two! For our main dishes, we got the Tandoori Salmon and Maple Leaf Farms Duck. Of those two, the duck definitely took the win! The meat was tender and juicy and the skin crispy! The menu is limited, and I wish there were more non meat options. I am not a vegetarian, but I prefer to eat as little meat as possible and there wants much to choose from. Nice little place with really good food and service. Visited Bouquet with a colleague on a Wednesday night. It was really easy to get in, which was nice. We opted for a la carte, but there is an option for a three course meal. The dishes are pretty small, so you can easily do what they call a second course along with a third. For my second, I had the scallop pasta. Wow! That was one of the best dishes I've had in a long time. Every ingredient was represented well, and it was cooked perfectly. I could've had a lot more of that. I had the duck for my main course. The waitress said it was really their signature dish. It was good, but not as good as the scallops. A very good experience here. We had a reservation set for 5:30 on Saturday night. We showed up a little early and they seated us right away. They asked us if we wanted upstairs or down. We ended up sitting upstairs. Kyle was our waiter and greeted us for our drink order right away. My friend and I both ordered the Gingerbread Sidecar. This cocktail was gingerbread rum, pear-infused brandy, and lemon shrub. I loved this cocktail so much I had another! They have a tasting menu choice on their menu and for this selection you get a dish from the first course, second course, third course, and dessert. My friend and I both chose this option but made different selections. I chose the braised carrots, smoked tandoori salmon, Mahi Mahi, and coconut chai rice pudding. My friend ordered winter salad, wagyu meatballs, maple leaf farms duck, and dark chocolate mousse. My favorite dish was the tandoori salmon. My least favorite was the rice pudding. The restaurant and the staff take your dining experience seriously, do everything possible to make it worthwhile eating at their establishment. A unique thing I saw here was that the waitress intentionally changed the silverware after every course. That's what I'm talking about! The menu changes almost every season, it's worth revisiting during summer to enjoy the next season's menu. For vegetarian protein, meat can be replaced with tofu and occasionally they have a veggie burger which they were out of when we visited. We've been several times since they've opened, but we were in a time crunch last night, so we couldn't do our usual pick of tastings from all courses. We were able to get in and out in an hour, but that is not usually the case for this usually extremely busy establishment. The server was extremely friendly and prompt with delivery of our meal and drinks. We opted for the special, which was a tasty burger topped with house made pimento cheese and onion. The side was basic fingerling potatoes. The burger had a crusty exterior and juicy center, which always makes my tastebuds sing! My partner loved the salad with vinaigrette. Sadly, no time for desserts, but they always have a few delectable options. Our favorite part of this place is that they have a menu that changes frequently, it is always delicious, and they like to serve the most local and freshest of ingredients. When we came, everyone got the 4 course fixed menu that allowed you to pick one dish from each category. What makes it wonderful is that the ability to choose means that everyone can make a combination to their liking-- something you can't do at the fancy michelin 3 stars. First course starter was wonderful. Some of us has some roasted veggies while others had salads with fresh fruit and burrata. Then came the pasta course with scallops or if you were carb conscious a nice fish dish. Then some had steak and others had duck for our main course. Glorious. Dessert-- well, they ran out of some options but what was left was still magical. Poached apple with crumble topping or ice cream with orange cake. What makes this place stand out is that the food and service is wonderful and you don't get the pretentious vibe where you might feel unwelcomed if you aren't ready for a black tie affair. You can dress to the nines or be a little more casual and eat here ... and everyone blends in well. The food is Michelin star worthy! Lastly. There is street parking but also a giant pay to park garage next to the restaurant. There is both an upstairs and downstairs seating area so it is handicap accessible on the first floor. Very cool building and ambiance seating was nice and we were able to hold a good conversation while dining. Now let talk about Troy, he knew his stuff, gave great recommendations and was knowledgeable about the restaurant and accompanying farm. For starters we had an amazing Focaccia bread with a magical spread and oil, second round was carrots and meatballs both high quality and very tasty. The salmon was spectacular and the duck was top notch. Finished it all off with a pumpkin cake which was decadent. This is a beautiful restaurant in Covington. The menu is small but everything looks amazing. They have a large drink menu also. We ate outside the night was gorgeous and we love to people watch. I ordered the scallop pasta and they didn't scrimp on the scallops. Made with a delicious berre blanc with edamame Swiss chard. My husband got the Waygu meatballs. Only three meatballs for 15 dollars. A little steep but he liked them. I would love to give them a five star but I couldn't because the service was so slow. Absolutely wonderful experience! My husband and I have had the pleasure of visiting several Michelin Star restaurants, and this was right on par with all of them. Service was a 10/10. Our server Chandler was exceptional. He did a great job introducing us to the restaurant, explaining the wines, and being there but not being "too there". Give this man a raise. My husband and I both did the tasting menu which I highly recommended. He got the salad with shaved pork, pasta, and ribeye. His fave was the scalloped pasta. I got a salad, carrots, and the chef's vegan choice for course 3. My husband also got the wine tasting, just do it. And the desserts at the end. All for $65?! Feels criminal. A very well decorated and cozy establishment and the atmosphere was perfect for a dressed casual date! If you haven't tried Bouquet, prepare yourself for an evening of delectable food! It'll be 2 hours of relaxation! We started off with a pickled plater for the appetizer followed by a strawberry salad and tomato cucumber salad. Both had fresh vegetables and the dressings were tasty. Our second course we had Wagyu beef meatballs and smoked tandoori salmon. Both were tasty and unique! Our main course we had the maple leaf farm duck and the black hawk steak! The duck was moist and not greasy like we've heard it can be and the medium rare steak was tender and delicious! We had their Cosmo and a painkiller for our drinks. Both were very tasty and the cosmo was strong. We ended with a lemon shortbread desert with sorbet and orange cream cake with gelato. I've been wanting to try Bouquet for years and I'm so glad I finally did. We ate on the front patio and had an excellent experience. The service was attentive and our server knew about each menu item. Both of us did the tasting menu, which is a selection of one from each course, including a dessert. I had a roasted vegetable skillet for course one, meatballs for course two, and steak for course three. For dessert, I had the bread pudding croissant. Each course was perfection; my favorite was the meatballs, which were flavored with a chili oil. The steak came with several roasted vegetables and It was a nice portion size. On this visit I came with my book club, there were 6 of us and our waitress did a fantastic job of making sure we had everything we needed and explaining the menu. Very nice small venue. The restaurant has some outside tables, but inside is set up like a small home. I was there for business with my colleague. Jess was our server and did a wonderful job explaining the dishes as well as timing of the courses. She mentioned they're known mainly as Farm To Fork, but also tapas style. They offer a tasting menu as well as an additional $35 for wine pairing. Course 1 would be like an appetizer or salad while course 2 was small plates and course 3 was more like a main dinner plate. I ordered the Rooted Skillet from course 1 which included a wonderful variety of rooted plants such as turnips, beets, carrots, onions and mushrooms separated by dabs of creme fraiche. It was unbelievable and I'm not a fan of beets. It was perfectly seasoned and served in a skillet. My main meal was from course 2 which was the scallop pasta. There were plenty of scallops sliced in half and placed across the pasta dish---again- perfectly seasoned and very savory. My colleague had the Pear Salad as course 1, but also the Marksbury Pork Medallions/Chops she said was incredible. I'm not a dessert person either, but had to split the Bread Pudding Stuffed Croissant with caramel drizzled vanilla ice cream. Wow!! An amazing meal.
