We had a great dinner here. Located in a renovated old building, our table was upstairs on the second floor. The atmosphere is cozy and laid back elegant. I recommend reservations as Bouquet quickly became full. They offer a variety of creative cocktails along with a nice selection of wines. We even tried a superb espresso martini. The salad we ordered was full of fresh lettuces and topped with a yummy house made vinaigrette. My main course was the salmon. Which was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. Be sure to save room for dessert also. The carrot cake we split was truly a finishing touch.

Bouquet Restaurant in Covington offers dishes made with high quality, local ingredients in a cozy, intimate setting. It was a great night out eating there. To start, I had the charcuterie board with four different cheeses, two meats and pickled assortments. I especially enjoyed the apple butter spread. I enjoyed the pork chop for my entree. It came with a truffled rutabaga and cauliflower mash and smoked BBQ pomegranate glaze which were a great combination. Service was great throughout the meal as well.

Bouquet is a gem. We visited for our wedding anniversary and knew ahead of time that we were looking forward to the tasting menu. We decided to bring our small baby so we made an early reservation and opted to sit outside- there was still outside availability at 5:30 but it fills fast! The staff were accommodating and positive, and it was a real treat to sit right on Mainstrasse and watch the pedal pubs and cars and walkers go by on their way to their Saturday evenings. The portions for each course are generous... I'm a hungry nursing mom and my husband always eats everything on his plate, so it was awesome for us! But I can see how it might be a little too much food... if that's even possible! The panzanella salad was gorgeous and fresh. I read some reviews about Bouquet's dishes being salty and I did find the salad salty, but not so much that I didn't enjoy it. For course two I had the tandoori salmon and risotto which was excellent with a delicious crust and soft flaky inside. We both chose the steak for our main course, which was served with beautiful colored potatoes and veggies. We were very full but of course excited for our pastry option... I had the olive oil cake with berries and coconut sorbet which was absolutely delicious to the last bite. ALL of the dishes were colorful and a delight to eat... everything at Bouquet is sourced from farms and changes up quite a bit, and you can tell it's different and intentional and fresh. I would recommend the tasting menu... if you went a la carte, I think you'd either spend a lot more on several courses or end up a little hungry from one of the smaller courses. But on the other hand, because the tasting menu was so much food, I didn't have room for an appetizer or drink, so it would be nice to try some of that a la carte. Our server Caroline was so attentive and kept things excellently timed. She took the time to explain what on the menu was dairy-free and even asked the chef several questions I had about allergens. She was happy to make changes or substitutions to dishes that made sense and were still delicious, and you could tell she had experience with making accommodations for any need. That being said- most dishes on the menu were already allergy friendly, gluten free, dairy free, etc. Most dishes in courses one and two had an animal protein (actually I think all of them did) so it would be a little hard for a vegetarian but I fully trust they are would accommodate with a delicious substitution. We also requested things be brought out quickly because of our baby, which they were happy to make happen. Excellent service overall! They even brought us a delicious hibiscus soda to toast with for our special anniversary occasion. I feel the price point of $70 for the tasting menu is a great deal. Yes, it's more expensive than we would typically spend eating out but we saved it for a special occasion and it was SO much food and delight for the price- definitely one of the best values around. I already want to come back in the winter to see what their menu is like then. Overall, a beautiful evening in Covington and a great spot for a special dinner!

I absolutely loved the atmosphere of Bouquet. It's a small restaurant, but tables were spread out and you didn't feel like you were on top of each other. After a stressful week, it was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine and a delicious meal. I started with the fall salad with a sweet potato puree which was divine! For my main course, I ordered the pork chop. It came on top of the best succotash I have ever had and was seasoned beautifully but unfortunately, the chop was overcooked and dry. Even with that, I can't get myself to take my rating down to a 4-star because the rest of the night was so spot on.

If you have not tried Bouquet yet you need to go! When we walked in I loved the small feel and quiet ambiance. The staff were so kind and helpful. The drinks were delicious and the food was spectacular. It was well priced and everything was wonderful. Props to the chef.

The restaurant has a lot of character and is very cozy with tables spread out enough to cut down on the noise and enjoy an intimate dinner. The menu is limited, and I wish there were more non meat options. I am not a vegetarian, but I prefer to eat as little meat as possible and there wants much to choose from. I decided to go with the special which was a fish dish. It was good, but a little underwhelming. Service was fantastic, and I will keep an eye on the menu changing to give it another shot.

We went to Bouquet for our anniversary and it couldn't have been better! My wife had been before with friends and so I knew I was in for a treat. The tasting menu provides soooo much food. I had the panzanella, meatballs, steak and lemon cake. The service was amazing too!

Apple cake with hibiscus mule

Went there for desert after eating at another B-Line Passport location for dinner. I had the apple cake that was simply delicious! The cream on the top was fresh and made it so good! Also, had a hibiscus mule (NA because I had to work at 6am the next morning) that tasted great!

Farm to table fine dining. I went for the tasting menu, which for me was a great experience and well worth the price. I did not consider the entree size unfortunately for those in my party that opted for only one or two items (my bad). The portions were perfect for me but I think most people need a tasting menu to be full. Everything was great! I love how the menu highlighted local items. I do think there's a little to be improved for some plating (for example, a dark sauce as the base on a dark colored dish could have been improved with a lighter dish for better contrast) and seasoning (the salt was a little heavy in some dishes), but those are tiny little things that don't significantly detract from the meal. The bread was amazing! SO fluffy. Loved the sunchoke; I have never had it before. I would come back here with foodie friends willing to drop some $$$. A meal like this in LA would probably be about $85 base so this was a great deal to me, but I think it is probably a little high for others.

Bouquet Old Fashion and Beet of Your Own Drum

Grabbed a last minute Tuesday night reservation here! It is a relatively small restaurant and reservations fill up fast, so make sure you plan ahead, especially for weekends! We got our table right away when we got in. We got an assortment of items, starting with drinks: Bouquet Old Fashioned and my wife got a NA Beet of Your Own Drum. Both drinks were superb! We started with their Pickle Board which had an assortment of pickled things (fennel, cucumber, carrot, onions, etc) and it was delicious, came with an assortment of crackers as well. Next my wife had the Seared Sunchoke and I had the Candied Beet Salad. Both were fantastic, though I think the Sunchoke was my favorite of the two! For our main dishes, we got the Tandoori Salmon and Maple Leaf Farms Duck. Of those two, the duck definitely took the win! The meat was tender and juicy and the skin crispy! For dessert we grabbed a slice of the Lemon Cake, also super yummy. Overall, an awesomely diverse menu and it all was delicious! Highly recommend checking this place out if you get the chance!

A very good experience here. We had a reservation set for 5:30 on Saturday night. We showed up a little early and they seated us right away. They asked us if we wanted upstairs or down. We ended up sitting upstairs. Kyle was our waiter and greeted us for our drink order right away. My friend and I both ordered the Gingerbread Sidecar. This cocktail was gingerbread rum, pear-infused brandy, and lemon shrub. I loved this cocktail so much I had another! They have a tasting menu choice on their menu and for this selection you get a dish from the first course, second course, third course, and dessert. My friend and I both chose this option but made different selections. I chose the braised carrots, smoked tandoori salmon, Mahi Mahi, and coconut chai rice pudding. My friend ordered winter salad, wagyu meatballs, maple leaf farms duck, and dark chocolate mousse. My favorite dish was the tandoori salmon. My least favorite was the rice pudding. With dessert I had a sauterne and really liked it as well. Our service was impeccable and Kyle coursed it out for us and did not miss a beat. The portions were also very nicely sized. We would definitely go back. I highly recommend.

Great food and great service! Got the hibiscus lemon drop, and its taste was distinct because the sour-ish drink blended with the sip from the cinnamon stick super well. As odd as it sounds, it tasted somewhat of the scent of a new house.... But really good tasting? (I'm still confused about how they managed to make such a unique but tasty drink) The remaining dishes was had so many flavors combined together, that's it's truly hard to describe (candied beat salad and eggleston farms chicken breast). Safe to say, you cannot go wrong with this place at all, super delicious. The Almond Basque Cake is a must get for those who love almond pastries! The cake crumbles at the touch of a spoon, and the sweet almond flavor is mouth watering. The whipped cream tasted great, and my only wish was that they added more!

The space is open, bright and well decorated making it very inviting for brunch. You order at the counter from the menus placed along the wall then food is delivered to your table. The various brunch items all sounded very inviting so I was having trouble deciding what to order. So I got a recommendation to try the Shakshuka. Not sure how to pronounce it but when it arrived it was just the right portion and quite tasty for brunch. It's a bowl with a red pepper sauce and feta cheese and kale along with eggs sunny side up. The dish is served with pita so you can do a little bit of dipping in the tasty sauce. To accompany our food we selected the mimosa service and bloody mary pitcher. A pitcher is just perfect for sharing. And the mimosa service was delightful. The server arrived with a bottle of Prosecco and small carafes of orange, grapefruit and blood orange juices to mix yourself. The food was fresh and tasty with prompt delivery of our food to our table. Not quite a full service restaurant since you have to order at the counter but still a nice experience located downtown.

We began with a dirty chai latte, aromatic and comforting, though I personally would have enjoyed a touch more sweetness. The dirty French, customized gluten free, was rich, decadent and deeply satisfying. It felt indulgent in the best way and showcased the kitchen's ability to balance comfort with culinary intention. To go, we ordered the crunchy chicken nuggets, fries and lemon ricotta pancakes. The fries were outstanding, perfectly crisp and addictive. My husband loved the pancakes, light and flavorful with a bright citrus note. The gluten free nuggets were enjoyable, though they did not quite reach the level I expected compared to the rest of the menu. Our server, McKenna, took great care of us the whole evening. She was friendly, engaging, accommodating, and just did an overall great job. We got the duck fat fries, brussels sprouts, and buffalo chicken. The duck fat fries came with a delicious garlic aïoli. The brussels sprouts were just perfect. And the buffalo chicken with some of the best I've had in a long time. I had never had cock-a-leekie before, so I tried that too. It was a nice, warm, comfort food. For our entrées, several of us got fish and shrimp. It was delicious and the tartar sauce and cocktail sauce sauces were perfect. The highlighter of the evening for me was my mocktail. I noticed the drink menu had a cucumber elderberry drink, but I do not drink alcohol, so I ask if they would be willing to make something like it as a mocktail. It was genuinely one of the best mock tails I've ever had. It was so good. I asked if the bartender would mind sharing what she did so I could make some version of it at home. She happily obliged and wrote it down for me. Overall, a wonderful experience that will definitely have me recommending Nicholsons to friends and family!

The combo of flavors and textures was a delight for the palate. The scallops over the miso leek risotto was one of the best scallop dishes we have ever eaten. The scallops were huge and cooked perfectly and there were plenty of pieces of leek in a lovely, smooth risotto. We're not a fan of hijiki, so the chef prepared the risotto without it - Thanks Chef Jose! And you would think chicken schnitzel would be basic, but not this dish.
