This is the $17.79 chihuahua burrito. I wouldn't feed this to my dog and it's an absolute abomination to Mexican food.

This was the worst Mexican food I have ever had in my entire life. I tried to eat it, because I was hungry. Obviously. It was disgusting. I ordered the Chihuahua burrito and another burrito and some chips and salsa, and it came to around $46. What a joke.

If I could give Mi Tierra 10 stars I would. The location is great- the ambiance is casual and comfortable. The staff is wonderful. The menu is big. The food service is fast. The food is hot and delicious every time. The cocktails are delicious. The fountain Coke Zero is the crispiest around. And it's all super affordable and I leave happy every time. Definitely a hidden gem, tucked away behind Walmart in Fort Wright, if you're looking for great mexican food or somewhere new to try, this is the spot.

My husband, grown daughter and myself went to Mi Tierra earlier tonight. The atmosphere was relaxed and the food was great. Everything cooked to perfection. It was delicious. The staff were very courteous and filled our glasses often. A very nice dinner.

Needed a quick lunch after visiting Walmart and this spot was pretty empty at 12 on a Monday. Service was pretty fast even with a large party. Loved that the salsa comes in carafes with little dishes you can pour individual servings into. Everyone in our group got their food as ordered and we all enjoyed it. I can't wait to come back for margaritas, because the bar looked like it would be great during Happy Hour.

The best Mexican food in Northern Ky, authentic salsa, hot chips and great margarita. The enchilada sauce is to die for. Love this place.

I came to NKY for a Christmas visit, and my family brought us here, claiming the fajitas were A+. Being accustomed to top notch Mexican food in Colorado, I doubted any place in KY would knock my socks off, but I was wrong! This place is awesome! The Chips and Salsa were house made and delicious! I had to convince myself to stop gobbling them up to leave room for dinner. I ordered the Fajitas Texanas with Shrimp and marinated beef, and they were the best fajitas I've ever had. They came sizzling on a cast iron with veggies. The roasted tomatoes were soooo good. The side dish with all the fajita fixings was plentiful and delicious! My husband's frozen margarita was also delicious. This restaurant is a favorite of my family's! Highly recommend!

This spot was great! It was clean, tables were spaced out, and staff was friendly. I had a margarita and arroz con pollo. They were both great and inexpensive. I will be back in the future.

We go here from time to time. The interior is colorful, pretty clean, and roomy. Compared to similar restaurants in the area, the food is a tad pricey. I usually get the mixed fajitas for one. Its good, served hot and what I expect. The chicken nachos are a nice appetizer but it's inconsistent. Sometimes there's a noticeable difference in chicken, other times the entire order seems smaller. Nothing realy bad to say, but nothing great either. It's good, not fantastic.

Not a fan. The service was bad. The Queso was thin - once we got it. The chicken rubbery.

Great atmosphere. Friendly staff and great food. The place is very clean and well maintained. We started with the Heart and Palm Salad. Perfect portion tossed with homemade honey balsamic dressing, really good!! I had the Chicken Gumbo, meaty and tasty with a perfect amount of spice to light up the tastebuds. The Shrimp PoBoy bruschetta was very flavorful. My lobster dip was nice and creamy and work well on the sliced crostini bread. We all had the Blackened salmon with rice & beans. The salmon was perfectly cooked and very flavorful with just enough blackened seasoning to enhance the flavor. Food presentation was perfect, everything was plated nicely They have a great selection of bourbon. We chose ours after just three selections but they had many more. The owner came by our table and introduced herself, something you rarely see nowadays The cost was reasonable, and we have added this to our list of top restaurant selections in Newport, Kentucky. Thank our server, Sam for the great service and menu advice. Five stars.

The Mac and cheese was excellent. Had the key lime pie and crème brûlée for dessert. The service was excellent. The setting inside has been changed and some of the cool parts of York street still remains. Overall a very fine establishment in Newport ! They recently opened for lunch so we will have to try that out.

The wicker chairs in the section to the left of the bar as you face the bar were unusually deep and low. Over time I think we all adjusted, but sitting in them definitely felt unusual. There are other chairs throughout the restaurant. I recommend finding a table with different chairs. Our waiter was knowledgeable and very efficient. We hadn't checked on the website, but found out Thursday is oyster day, with $1 oysters and fried oysters and $1.50 for Oyster Bienville. The fried oysters were delicious. The raw oysters were good, though I had one that was gritty. We are going again in two weeks and will try the Oyster Bienville along with other assorted oysters. Two of us had the special Pan Seared Sea Bass. It came highly recommended and did not disappoint. The crisp on the top was delicious and the fish itself was delicate and moist. It did indeed melt in my mouth. The potatoes were very good, though I didn't finish all of them. The greens were good. Mark had a ribeye and is still raving about it today. He ordered the preparation version made with just salt and pepper. He also had a cup of gumbo. He said it had an amazing depth of flavor. We wrapped up with dessert. Three folks had Key Lime Pie. I opted for Karma's Opera Crème Cake. Oh my goodness, it was huge, sweet and delicious. I tried a bit of key lime and it just didn't compare. That said, those who had the Key Lime Pie loved it. Not only would we return, but we have the date already scheduled. I'm looking forward to trying something different.

While there were a couple of services misses, the waitresses made up for it by providing me with a sample of the gator bites. All I can say is, "WHOA!". They were absolutely DELICIOUS and seriously the highlight of my night. The cajun sauce served with them is the flavor I expect from Cajun food. That said, ask for the cajun sauce! They have a charming patio at the back of the interior space as well. I didn't realize they have their own lot, but in case it's full, there is plenty of street parking nearby. The service was excellent. Our server was very attentive and kept drink refills flowing. We ordered the pretzel and beer cheese and the poutine for starters. The pretzel was huge and tasty. I didn't care for the beer cheese, probably because I was expecting a more solid cheese product. I would describe this more as a cream sauce. It didn't seem to have much cheese in it and was very 'liquidy'. Also the ramekin was only half full. If it had tasted better, I would have asked for more, but as it was not, we didn't even finish what was given. I thought it was a bit pricey at $12.95 for one large pretzel. On the other hand, the poutine was fantastic! A very unique take on the dish with a mix of cheese curds (although they reminded me more of pieces of mozzarella sticks), french fries and Andouille cream gravy. I ordered the fish tacos which consisted of Blackened Salmon, Thai Chili Sauce, Black Bean Corn Salsa, Pico de Gallo. My order came with two and they were fantastic! Since Blinkers is known for steaks, I will have to give them another try at dinner time.

OK, Saturday night, Valentine's Day 2026, the place was packed, as you would expect. Thankfully we had a reservation for our four-top, my wife and me and my brother-in-law and his wife. We were seated quickly and soon our server was at our table attending to us as though we were his main reason for being there. How refreshing to be treated in such a way. We had our drink order ready and he put those in for us. My wife would enjoy a nice "Rosé" and I ordered a Smoked Old Fashion. Our server's name is Reid G. In the midst of his rush he was polite and friendly and I loved it. We were soon ready to order, too, so after drinks arrived and Reid came back to our table he took our orders. The presentation of our drinks was very nice, so I have to be specific about it. My wife's bottle of wine was presented to the ladies, and though they declined a taste the young lady wiped the neck of the bottle preventing any drips in between each pour, then returned the bottle to the wine chiller. My drink was presented in a rocks glass, of course, but was capped with a small brandy snifter to keep smoke trapped inside. I could smell the smoke immediately when the drink was served. It was rich and sweet, a smell sensation to complement the look of the drink itself. My wife ordered the Pan Asian Butterfish with side salad, Reid assured her that this is a dish that she would certainly enjoy, often his go-to. I opted for the Imperial Cod with side salad as well. I always like to complement the establishments who serve their salads on cold plates as was the case here at Bonefish. A pet peeve of mine being a salad on a warm plate, ya know. All four of us enjoyed our dinners and each others' company. During another round of drinks we ordered the Chocolate Cream Brûlée. We were not overwhelmed with the dessert and perhaps I should some take responsibility for that, not noticing that it was chocolate on the menu, but also that it failed to have the custard consistency but rather like a pudding. The size of the dessert was sufficient for two people to share, as we did, and we did finish it, of course, but would not order it again. We spent about 2 and 1/2 hours there and Reid took good care of us. We had a very good evening and we tipped Reid appropriately. Bonefish is a very nice establishment for special occasions. I am sure that we will be back in the future.
