I love everything this place has to offer. Going here for the margaritas is enough for me, and I'm not much for tequila!. But they sure are delicious here! And strong. The fajitas and quesadillas are my favourites here. Despite some other reviews, I think they're salsa is delicious.....who doesn't like cilantro...and if you don't...why do you like Mexican?? We are very selective with our Mexican food. We came already set to not like this place, or to be let down. However, we were pleasantly surprised. The service was amazing. The food was fast and delicious. Every thing tastes homemade and fresh. The salsa was addicting, the chips were not greasy or salty, and the rest of the food followed suit. Great Mexican restaurant close to family we are visiting! Had no. 9 off the lunch menu. Service was fast! Food came out right off the grill and everything was fresh. Loved the guacamole and the pico! Refrained beans were just perfect and not overly starchy. Had a cheese enchilada as part of my plate - cheese was creamy with a lovely flavor. Best I've had in quite a while! Decided to try out this place based on reviews. The service was amazing ! The girl who checked our drinks and chips constantly was very friendly. We never needed anything, she was on it. The food was delicious and was served very quickly after we ordered it. Glad we found this place. Cheaper than eating at Pappasitos or Lupe Tortilla and much better service and atmosphere. Love this resto. A friend told me about this place way back 7 years ago. Never went to visit the place till yesterday. The food was super good and tasty. I ordered tapequeña mar, hubby had lunch special fajita, 1 kids quesadilla and regular chicken quesadilla. Paid below $50 tip not included. The service was excellent as well. We go to this restaurant about once a week mainly because it's close to home the food is ok but the Margaritas are the best! The new ribeye tacos are to die for! It's always busy but it's big enough that you don't have to wait long for a table if at all. The service is great every time, it's also very clean. I do have one problem however it's the chips and salsa, which for me is a big part of the experience. Their chips ( and really taco shells too ) are thick over cooked and tasteless. The salsa is kind of blah, sometimes they have a very good green sauce but not all the time. We never order queso or guacamole because the chips are not good. read more

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. All of the food is fresh and delicious, plus the portions are huge. Came for lunch. Ordered fajitas for 2..$26.95. The side of guacamole/pico was inadequate so ordered additional side of guacamole only for $2.25 because the extra side of pico would be another $1.25. Coffee $2.25. Bill was $34.04. When I asked to take the remaining chips and a salsa togo they wanted to charge me additional money for chips and salsa...the chips were already on my table! I should have asked for a salsa refill before getting my check. But you get the jest of why I'm writing this review. We spoke to a manager to complain...a box was given and a bowl of green sauce was given. Not the salsa I wanted... if we hadn't spoke to the manager the waiter would have let us leave upset and unsatisfied. I have been coming here for YEARS!!!! I would say that this food and service is mediocre at best. This restaurant is the only one of two Mexican restaurants in the area. Cheap Mexican food is what it is. The spinach enchiladas are good though. The atmosphere is decent with a nice , good sized outdoor patio. All in all- just ok experience. I haven't been back in a while. read more

My family and I love Mexican food and since we moved closer to Tomball from Spring we weren't sure where we could find a good place to eat. We frequented Chuys in Shenandoah but it was getting too far to drive for us and we stumbled upon Mi Rancho. We loved it from the first visit. We have since been several times and have even taken family members. They are fast and fresh and the price is great. We almost never have a wait and the portions are great. I love Mi Rancho.....In Humble!!! I went Yesterday to the Mi Rancho in Spring for the first time and I must say I will never go back again I rather drive the extra 30mins out to enjoy quality food and service. First off the server I had was just crappy. It felt rushed!! my server did not seem to care when I told him that they should really cook their tortillas a little longer because the ones I had and my friend had with his meal were still a little undercooked ,but not even a I apology or a let me fix that for you and I even told the cashier when paying my 50.00 bill for crappy food and service but she didn't seem to even give me any eye contact lol. Then my son was still eating his food and her just reached out in front of him and grabbed his plate and asked was he done...well I guess so since you are picking up plates.Second off I really think they undercooked our food because as soon as we left my friend got sick in the car and when I got home I got sick as well. Then they have all the employees just hanging out in the dinning area and I mean all the damn employees. Just the worst experience ever. If your looking for good tex mex mi rancho is the spot but I rather go to the one in Humble worth the money you spend or any other one then this one :) read more

My favorite Mexican food place in the entire city! Never had any issues there at all, from the food to service it's always amazing. Tried lots of different things but hands down my favorite is the Parilla Poblano . The flavor is incredible. Margaritas are strong and delicious, waiters are always attentive and the place is always packed so they must be doing something right! They are building a new one on Research Forest and Tamina but I do believe I will still continue to frequent the 2920 location just because I know the service is great there. read more

We have been to Mi Rancho four times with various friends. Every time we have all been very pleased with our food. This includes margaritas, good chips and salsa, sour cream enchiladas, beef enchiladas, tacos, fajitas and more. The waiters have been very nice about refilling sippy cups with water and providing extra silverware and napkins for our two year old. We have never had to wait for a table. The place is huge. The service is attentive and quick. Prices are reasonable. This is a good place to try. It is one of the best we have tried below the Pappasito's level. read more

First time to this location and extremely disappointed. We use to frequent the one on Wilson Rd. when we lived in that part of town. The salsa was very watery, the plates we not warmed which made the food get cold rather fast. Since it was lunch I had the burrito and the ground beef was also either full of grease or watery. Rice was find and I forgot to change the beans to charo since I detest refried beans, so no opinion there. We'll try the on on I-45 again but won't return to this location. read more

Our first time visiting this restaurant was satisfactory. Service was wonderful and the waiters were very proactive about refilling drinks and checking on the table. The food arrived quickly with no errors. Tacos Al carbon had steak that was tender and seasoned well. We will certainly be back. read more
