This place is a very definition of a local Mexican joint and although it's located on a reasonably busy street almost everyone there is from a few miles away. Wide range of Tex-Mex food, including seafood and steaks with plenty of people watching soccer on the TV in one room or a nice quiet dining in the other I usually get takeout and as you can see by the attached photos, they don't short you on volume.

It is your average neighborhood Tex-Mex restaurant. Plenty of space for get together. Prices and portions are up to par with other neighboring restaurants. Food taste is bland, which may be good for some people who may like that taste. May return to taste other expanded entrees that may be their specialty.

It has a sweet honey ginger cream sauce that pairs well with the broccoli and sautéed coleslaw. The shrimp are huge and were cooked to perfection. The fish has a wonderful crabmeat stuffing on top as well that pairs nice with the perfectly cooked fish. Bella is a great server as well. She was very attentive and let me enjoy my 4 course meal. Rolita and David and the whole staff are amazing and create a positive welcoming atmosphere. The lighting is amazing while listening to smooth jazz. This has been my best restaurant experience yet. I will keep coming back, and I highly recommend this place. I will be back for more. The Chang's Seabass and the White Chocolate Bread Pudding are a must as well. The sushi is completely fresh and flavorful as well. I've never had a bad experience with it. White dragon roll, Ahi Tuna and Watermelon, and the 21pc Sashimi is great. Don't forget about the Dark Chocolate Pots De Crème as well. Overall it has been a wonderful few times back here at Redfish Seafood Grill. I moved back from St Petersburg, Florida and the seafood and sushi here is 10 times better than the food in Florida. Redfish knows how to impress.

What followed was days of severe vomiting and diarrhea -- genuinely alarming given their age and how quickly dehydration can become dangerous for older adults. Finding a decent/subpar sushi spot in Spring has always been tough, but this experience takes this restaurant off our list for good. The quality and safety of the fish is not something I'm willing to gamble on again. Proceed at your own risk -- especially if you're dining with older family members. 7/10 Update: Based on owner's response/questions: They were there 7/7 6:41pm. Originally it was just my mother and grandmother and now two other parties have fallen ill. Thankfully not as severely. They consumed the 21 piece Sashimi, chicken dumplings, shrimp tempura, salmon w/veg, Rolita Roll and the "Crunchy Roll" which they all shared and consumed.

Unfortunately, I noticed a big change this time around. The breading on both the fish and shrimp tasted different--much saltier and kind of overpowered the flavor. Not sure if the recipe has changed, but I personally prefer the original breading. That light, well-seasoned coating was part of what made me keep coming back over the years. Hoping this was just an off day or that the original recipe makes a comeback soon
