Forget the drive thru--- slow as heck. I ordered a simple burrito and have been sitting over 15 minutes waiting while other cars were served. And when I mentioned it all I got was a feeble I'm sorry

This is truly a Gem that we in Longview are so fortunate to have . Our kids who come back to visit us , can NOT miss a breakfast from Mi Casitas. The French Toast is truly the best in the country . We have visited several breakfast places for brunches and we always compare to this place . The syrup is a magical elixir! The Breakfast Burrito with Carne - is beyond what a burrito should be ! If you have not had Breakfast here - what is wrong with you ? You deserve to experience this legacy. Yes you might have to wait but aren't the best things in life worth it ? The staff are always so kind and helpful. There's a cool vibe inside plenty of space . I'm sorry I have no photos but once the food and the aroma is present loose all thought - only to enjoy the moment. Thank you for your service and sharing your gifts !

Absolutely the VERY BEST traditional Mexican Breakfast anywhere in North East Texas. I had the Huevo Ranchero Breakfast Plate with Barbacoa. Out of this world delicious. I dare you to find another traditional Mexican breakfast anywhere in NE Texas as good as Mi Casita. I am big man at 6'3" 225 and it was plenty of food to satisfy me.

Another chapter in the Find the Famous French Toast in town! We hit up a suggestion given by google and this place was fun. There was several works of art and decoration based around people famous in music, at our booth we have Stevie Ray Vaughn. They have hanging lightbulbs inside mason jars which was interesting. You order at the counter and are given a number, you get your own drinks and something I have not seen before you refill your own chips and get the salsa yourself and can go back and refill as often or as little as you want. Having the chips sitting in a heating thing means they were not the best but still I get the idea. They do have 4 to 5 different salsa's you can choose from which is unique and helps with the serve yourself. It is all very casual. The tables have a glass top like a cover. Under the glass on the table were lots of notes on paper, napkins, even dollar bills and foreign currency. It was a fun addition and some of the notes were clever, others funny, even some heartfelt ones. We did leave notes as and hope they end up under the glass. I will go over some of them near the end. Of course we were there for breakfast due to looking for French Toast. Shana got the French Toast of course as she is the one searching and loves the Toast of the French! The toast in this case comes out all separate and you put it together, it had eggs and breakfast potatoes. She loved the French Toast but the rest was just okay. I got breakfast tacos with eggs, sausage, and shredded cheese. They were solid but nothing special but still good. One of the notes at our table fit our theme weirdly, it asked if they eat French Toast in France, the reply drawing said no, they just call it Toast. Some cute notes about a Salsa contest on 6/29/2022 there were several others and we took pictures which I will post here. This was a fun place, the food was better then average and the French Toast meet the approval of Shana who knows her French Toast!!!! If you get there leave a note, if you see notes from Shana and Brandon let us know!!!

For the appetizer, fried avocado. I got a breakfast burrito. The wife got the Chuck Norris Burrito. Yummy

Ran across this little gem by accident. We were looking for a place that evidently closed. So, the wife pointed at Mi Casita. We usually enjoy new places so, we gave it a go. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you. It's self serve for chips and salsa. They had about 4 or 5 salsa choices. All of which were tasty. The portions were large and the food was fresh. Very good food. We will be back for sure.

This is a Ranchero plate ?! styrofoam plates?!?! Not a recommended dine-in...

Looking for a Mexican restaurant and the name was cute and worth trying without looking at reviews. The worse idea to have done. Tried Mexican. Food from " my little house" as it does not warrant the name of Mi Casita. The service was ok. Dine in was our choice this Veterans Day. Well the ordering is fast food style and May be perfect for to go orders but if dinning in coffee mugs and plates should not be offered in plastic or styrofoam. Not a recommended location for dinning in. However, we tried the food. The ranchero eggs were over cooked and the chorizo tasted as if the meat was shared with Taco Bell and not home made from the restaurant. If looking for Taco Bell meat it best to try Taco Bell - the the beef tips for the carne guisada taco was ground beef.

Breakfast burrito was okay. The chorizo and the beans weren't terribly flavorful. The potatoes were tasty, but if it weren't for the yummy pineapple salsa the whole thing would have been rather bland. My husband loved his breakfast tacos, however. The place is clean and quick, and the salsa is very fresh. Maybe I just got the wrong thing. read more

Leaning towards 3/3.5 stars based on my meal (fish tacos) but those I was with enjoyed their dishes. The good: -Queso -Free chips and salsa -Shrimp tacos -Chuck Norris burrito -Carne asada burrito The bad: -Blackened fish tacos: The whole thing was a little dry, particularly the fish. Good fish to taco ratio though! Nothing spectacular but would come back to try some of the other menu items. read more

Amazing, out-of-this world flavor. The custom sauces are beyond the pale - red, green, chipotle, and pineapple habanero. Fish tacos and shrimp quesadillas are the best we've ever eaten. French toast plate with eggs and hash browns is my go-to breakfast because the toast is best in the west. You can also add bacon to the plate. We have tried just about everything on the menu over the years and have never been disappointed. read more

Holy moly! This place from the outside doesn't look like much but the food is so good. I was sent here by some of my Bingo friends. I wanted a really good breakfast burrito. I ordered the eggs, Chorizo and potatoes burrito. Umm it was a size of a BIG super burrito. It was enough for me to eat on for 3 days. I ate 1/4 of it and saved the rest. Was not disappointed at all. I got some salsa on the side wit their fresh made chips. I actually used the drive through and it was to me with in a few minutes. They have a great menu and breakfast served all day. Tried this place based on the Yelp reviews and was pleasantly surprised. It's a hole in the wall with delicious food. Pictured is the street taco plate and 2 of the salsas from the salsa bar. We tried the carnitas, barbacoa, and picadillo tacos. All were good, as was the salsa, rice and beans. Our kiddo's chicken strips came out undercooked but they fixed it. Overall, a solid 4 experience and one we would do again. read more

Had the breakfast tacos this morning and was very pleased. The eggs, unlike most other breakfast tacos out there, aren't overcooked. They are making chorizo in-house now, and are doing a pretty good job. Not nearly as greasy as the stuff you'd normally find. And you get a lot for your money. (I ordered two and couldn't finish them.) The service, by the way, is among the best in the area. read more

Once was a must go to place in longview to eat. Now it's run down needs to be remodeled never any soft drinks in the dispenser. Broken tables debris and disarray outside the door. The owner needs to remodel paint or add two hundred dollars worth of his time just to freshen it up. I know the supply chain is hard to get food for the business. But when potatoes and things are consistently not they are not there. Staff stays on their cell phone and texting too much instead of taking their orders and making sure the hot sauce and chips are Replenished. Don't get me wrong. It was once a great place and could be again.. God bless read more

I am In town for work and bumped into a few of the locals looking for breakfast tacos. The only place anyone could think of was Mi Casita, and let me tell you, they did not disappoint. The servings were large. The ingredients were cooking perfectly. None of the meats were dry. I was very impressed. I spent less than $10 and walked out more full than you could leaving a buffet. Service was good enough, it is not a full service restaurant. You order at the cashier then seat yourself. They will bring your order out. One of my tacos was missing an item I ordered. I don't know whether they charged me for it or not but the nice lady helping me didn't even bat an eye and immediately brought out 2 strips of bacon. Apparently the taco I ordered only comes with one. I like that a business and its employees accept when they make a mistake and just fixes it. Kudos! If you're looking for breakfast tacos in the Longview area, this is the place. read more

Best breakfast burrito I've had for a long time! You don't get this kind of quality on the east coast. The burrito was well made and huge! I ordered the chorizo, which came with eggs, beans, and potatoes. All of it was cooked well and the flavor was amazing. Of special note about this place is their selection of salsas. I am not the best judge since I only tried one, but their red tomato chipotle salsa was amazing! I will come here the next time I'm in Longview, which might be a long time lol read more

I deliver from this place all the time, and the people who run this place are insanely nice and it always smells so great when I go in. So, I decided to give it a shot while my parents were in town and my dad desperately needed his breakfast burrito craving satiated. I have to say...I was NOT disappointed. I always used to go to Stripes in Houston for my breakfast tacos because YUM. This place, though....they put Stripes to shame. The only thing I'd change about it is I would add some of that green hot sauce that makes you dream about wasabi because there is a similar heat to it. Otherwise, omg....the potatoes were cooked perfectly, the chorizo was so finely chopped and not overly greasy with a wonderful flavor, and they put just the right amount of beans. Plus, they load those breakfast tacos up! Seriously...they were not shy with the stuffing. I HIGHLY recommend this place for multiple reasons, the first of which being that it will make your mouth very happy. Your waistline? Probably not so much, but hey...there's always cheat day. ;) read more

Don't miss this place even if it's out of your way! 1.The food is perfectly cooked and seasoned. The meats are totally lean, noooooo fat! 2. Homemade (truly homemade) chips and salsa bar is help yourself. Very unique and wonderful. There are like 6 different salsas to try. I even mixed a couple of flavors and wasn't disappointed with any of them! 3. Outdoor seating (bring your pooch!) 4. Free wifi :) 5. Last but not least ... very friendly staff!!! read more

All I can say is are used to love mi casita!!!!! But I don't know I've heard it a few times OK may be more than a few I just kept thinking bad day maybe I came up on a bad day. But it just seems like every time I go my pork tacos are full of nothing but grease. And I understand pork is greasy and it taste good with the little grease. But sometimes they're just so super more greasy or fattier than what they used to be and it's like the price has gotten up there little up there and the food hasn't gotten bigger. But it is a really good place to eat some food I reckon if your hungry and it's right there by you but like I said they used to be amazing I would've gave it a 10 stars but now like only two I'm sorry read more

My wife and I used to sneak in for breakfast often, I was on shift and the kids were in school, and we loved it from day one. I am no longer on shift, so breakfast is not feasible, but that is OK. Lunch and dinner are just as enjoyable. Great flavors, salsas to die for, cold beer and speedy service...if you want good Mexican food (Tex-Mex) and great service, stop by, you will be please that you did. read more

We were a large group with 5 tables but the service was good. I loved the corn chips with the season they out on them along with the flour tortillas. I could have made a meal out of those and the hot sauce.

Given there were so few people there, I don't understand why they can't answer the phone when my wife called 3 times, but can stand around texting on their own phones. The cleanliness was lacking, even in the unoccupied section. I would expect with so many staff and so few customers, someone could have picked up a little. I went to the front and mentioned the issue. I finally did get my order. I made sure all containers were there but my wife didn't mention the chocolate milk, so that was a loss. Unfortunately, I didn't open all containers to see the incorrect contents. I lost about an hour here. I didn't even get an apology for taking double the time I was told. They truly do not care! If someone in Austin pays attention, you need to get an on site manager. Given so many paid staff doing nothing, fire most and start over. Better to regain your reputation at a temporary expense. Review camera footage. It backs up time hacks and lazy employees. Chuy's has been around literally decades. I hate seeing it dragged through the mud for one rogue location. We will give this location another try in case it was a fluke. Taking my son to the ER was a better experience than this place. t would be funnier if it wasn't true. PS - I don't care about sorry for my poor experience, etc. Fix the problem. Make it good again.

This review is for your TACO TRUCK catering. The Mi Casita Taco Truck catered at a wedding I attended recently. The staff (later found out it was the owner) was quite RUDE - to guests and the paying customer. The owner of the truck asked inappropriate questions to female guests, and about female guests (yes, sexually inappropriate). Since there were cops, cowboys, and oilmen at this event, he is extremely lucky that he didn't have to deal with them. The job was bid, and paid for, 150 guests. The owner told people helping that he only had food for 125. Then he was very impatient and rude about getting paid. This saddens me because their food is good. But it doesn't make up for this kind of behavior. There are too many other options in Longview to put up with this kind of service. read more

I have been a customer of Mi Casita's since 2018. Breakfast tacos are awesome! The ladies know me well by now and often have my order ready by the time I get to the window. (There are advantages to always ordering the same thing.) I have never been disappointed with anything I've tried, but I always go back to the same thing - steak, egg and potato taco. There have been occasions where I ate from their food truck. Their chicken street tacos are outstanding! I have recommended Mi Casita's to numerous people and will continue to do so. read more

We were passing through and saw the great reviews so wanted to try it out. This place is not fancy at all but we loved it!! I enjoyed their salsa bar with warm chips. You serve yourself on this and drinks so that is a plus for me. The salsa is spicy but they have mild options as well. I had the blackened fish tacos and my husband had the Chuck Norris burrito and street tacos. Everything was excellent and everyone is friendly here. We will come back!! read more

Great food.. Blackened fish tacos are excellent... So are the steak and cilantro... Started coming here when they were drive thru only to pick up breakfast ... It's very easy for Larry and I to leave the dealership and run to get s quick bite to eat! Can be in and out in under half an hour! This is the best in Longview Texas I love this place it's not the biggest but they sure have some bad ass tacos. More authentic then most . I would also recommend the Chuck Norris as well if your in the mood for a burrito it's big enough for two . Best burrito in Longview for sure read more
