While strolling along Main Street in Grapevine, TX during the Grapevine Festival, I worked up quite…read morean appetite and decided it was time to find something to eat. With so many dining options available, I chose Jake's Burgers after hearing positive recommendations from my brother. Upon entering, I immediately noticed how organized and spotless the restaurant was. It had a welcoming sports-bar atmosphere that felt both relaxed and inviting. I was promptly greeted by J.T., the host, who was kind, polite, and welcoming as he escorted us to a booth. Our server, K.T., was friendly, efficient, and attentive. He quickly brought us water, took our order, and thoughtfully repeated everything back to ensure accuracy. We started with the fried mushrooms ($8.99), which arrived hot, juicy, well-seasoned, and pleasantly spicy--just as promised. They were easily some of the best fried mushrooms I've had in a long time. For our main course, I ordered the Classic Double Cheeseburger on a poppyseed bun with all the toppings ($11.79), while we also tried the Jake's Special Burger with the works ($11.79). Both burgers were incredibly delicious--juicy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend giving Jake's Burgers a visit. Hope to see you there!

Ryan was helping out on the floor and was SO friendly. And the manager, jim stopped by to check on us as well. My husband had the kick in chicken fried bacon burger and gave it two thumbs up! I have a gluten and dairy restriction and they took care of me - and my burger was great. We will definitely be visiting again. Love that Jakes is family owned! So friendly!

Let's talk about Jake's. First things first -- the service…read morewas amazing. My server, Charity, was attentive, personable, and just made the whole experience easy. No chasing her down. No awkward waits. Just smooth, professional service. The ambiance was on point too -- relaxed, comfortable, somewhere you can actually sit and enjoy your meal. Now to the star of the show: the KICKIN' CHICKEN FRIED BACON BURGER. Fresh double beef patties, Jake's hickory sauce, melted cheese, crisp lettuce, red onion, chipotle mayo -- and topped with two thick, deep-fried slices of chicken fried bacon. Let me pause right there. That bacon? Crispy, thick, and absolutely amazing. It complemented that burger perfectly. The texture alone was next level. Everything blended well. The poppy seed bun was different, but it worked. It held everything together without falling apart -- and that matters with a stacked burger like this. Now here's my honest transparency: the patty was a little overcooked for my liking. Not dry, but just a touch longer on the fire than I would have preferred. Dial that back slightly and this burger would be a full-on knockout. I also had the onion rings -- crispy, not greasy, solid choice. And let's not ignore the SPICY MANGORITA. Mi Campo Blanco, mango, jalapeño, lime, Tajín -- and yes, I had two. Smooth with a little kick, that sweet heat balance was working. If you like a margarita that flirts with spice but doesn't overpower you, this is it. Would I go back? Absolutely. Next time I'm trying the chicken fried steak. I'm a fan, and now I need to see what Jake's does with it. I know there are other locations along the way back to Austin -- I think I spotted one in Waco -- so that may be my next stop. Great service. Great vibe. Strong food with just a small tweak needed on cook time. I'll be back.
