Wow. No... wow is an understatement. This place is just really special. It's only been open about a month, and it runs like a well oiled machine. Chef Love walks around and ensures everything is running smoothly, he talks to tables as he walks by. The servers and server assistants are all extremely nice and attentive. Our server was Cici (hope I spelled that right), and she was just a delightful person, she drives in from Boyd and she really enjoys working at Meraki, it shows in her attitude. Her and the assistants like Isabella and... Jake (?) and a guy with glasses (he comes up next), they made our experience so enjoyable. Everyone smiled, everyone was sweet to us. I will say there was a manager who was a little severe when our server assistant dropped a glass at a nearby table (unless my date and I misinterpreted the manager's demeanor). I wanted to give the guy who dropped the glass a hug or something, he had been so nice to us. Now for the food - it's absolutely insane. There is no better way to say it. And I love that the portions are appropriately sized. I hate when restaurants give me a plate with 2 pounds of just okay food. At Meraki, we had plenty to eat and the food was some of the best I've ever had. It was all light and the portions were perfect. We felt amazing when we left instead of overly full and miserable. The dip trio comes with pita that's fresh from the oven. It smells like a whole bakery has been delivered to your table. The hummus and pimento cheese are so incredibly well balanced and the flavors were out of this world. The Spanikopita was a favorite of mine, and the broccolini and lemon domino potato sides were delicious. But the star was definitely the salt baked halibut, it was the best part of the whole evening. I have never had anything like it before. It came with a citrus beurre blanc that is unlike any sauce I've ever had. It was so silky, so luxurious, and still somehow so light. Even without the beurre blanc, I could eat that fish at every meal. We couldn't eat anymore so they boxed up what was left of our sides, and we got the Galatupia dessert to go. It held up perfectly in the refrigerator and was so delicious. I have never had an experience like this before. It felt like the Mediterranean from the moment we walked through the doors. Even the precious stencils on the floor were so lovely and added to the atmosphere. We will be back for that halibut without a doubt, and to try a few other items on the menu. Food: there were a few things that I liked. I wish they had more food items to choose from. I felt like it was very limited. The trio dip with their fresh pita was really good. The steak kabob was amazing. Meat fell right off and the sauce that came with it was good. Service: service was great. I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience at Meraki. The food was uniquely different but extremely creative and flavorful. It is a very interesting and different concept for Fort Worth, but I would definitely return. Walking through the door I was greeted by an attentive hose who promptly saw us. The service was incredible! Our server was very well-versed on the menu and wine selection and gave us incredible options. This is a very elevated Mediterranean experience. The restaurant itself is Symplr yet beautiful and dimly lit, giving a very romantic vibe for dinner. I think the only downside is that the location next to the Pickleball courts is somewhat deterring from the elevated experience that is Meraki. read more

I saw this new place on Instagram and wanted to try it out. My wife and I love Mediterranean so we were excited to visit this new concept. When we arrived there was no clearly designated parking and the valet service was $10. I am a disabled veteran and there was NO handicap parking anywhere to be found. I drove around 2x. Once inside the ambiance was very nice and our server Wilson was NEXT LEVEL awesome. The food was delicious but a little pricey for lunch. I had their house martini and it was one of the best I have ever had. Here is what gives them 4 stars and almost 3. The owner/chef Tim Love was in the restaurant today and there were not that many people dining. He walked right past my wife and I to introduce himself to another table. We got up to leave and he was by the bar area and blocking our way out. We had to excuse ourselves to get around him and all he could say was hope you had a good lunch. I only knew who he was because of his Instagram post. My personal opinion is that he should have made it more personable. I know many restaurant owners in the DFW area and we met and became regular customers of their establishments because they went out of their way to make my wife and I feel welcomed. read more

Opening night in Fort Worth. Packed house. Mediterranean aromas floating through the air. Your humble Texan wandered in expecting dinner and walked out planning the next visit before the check even arrived. Meraki opened with energy, excellent service, fantastic kebobs, and a goat cheese dip that deserves its own fan club. Cocktails were sharp, the room had serious style, and the whole evening felt like Fort Worth got itself a new hot spot. Tonight my wife and I headed out for opening night at Meraki, the newest restaurant from Fort Worth chef Tim Love. Reservations were set for 6:30. We showed up early because opening night crowds tend to behave like Texans lining up for free brisket. Sure enough, the place was already humming. The hostess welcomed us in and guided us past the bar. That bar looked fantastic. Bottles glowing under soft lights, bartenders shaking cocktails like they were conducting a symphony. Rookie mistake on my part. Next visit begins right there. The dining room had real energy. Music moving through the space. A full house. Staff everywhere and moving with purpose. Service was exceptional from the moment we sat down. At one point they even brought a small stool so my wife could place her purse beside the table. A purse stool. That little detail set the tone for the entire night. We started with cocktails. I ordered the Mythos mule. Lime leaf infused vodka, citrus, and ginger beer. Crisp, bright, refreshing. It landed on the table ice cold and woke up my taste buds immediately. My wife ordered the Athenian spritz. Otto's Athens vermouth, Aegean, and tonic sparkling wine. She took a sip, smiled, and gave the official verdict. Delicious. Next came something not listed on the menu but absolutely worth requesting. The dip trio with pita: black garlic hummus, whipped goat cheese, and tzatziki. All three were excellent. The whipped goat cheese stole the show. Creamy, tangy, smooth, and dangerously addictive. I kept telling myself "just one more bite" about seven times. Then came the main attraction. The kebob trio, another off menu move that allows you to sample all three: lamb kofte, grilled short rib, and chicken. Each skewer arrived sizzling and beautifully seasoned. The lamb was bold and flavorful. The chicken was perfectly cooked and bright with herbs. The short rib completely stole the spotlight. Tender, juicy, and coated in herb oil that soaked beautifully into the meat. You cannot order kebobs without a side, so we added the lemon domino potatoes. Thin sliced potatoes layered together and roasted with herbs and lemon. They arrived crispy and fragrant. Slightly salty, still extremely tasty. Of course we had wine with dinner. My wife enjoyed a rosé while I went with a red from Hedgehog Vineyard. Both paired nicely with the savory flavors from the kebobs. Then came dessert. The 12 layer chocolate cake looked incredible, but we went with the Raspberry blood orange mpezedes - Raspberry blood orange swirl sorbet, pomegranate syrup, and fresh mint. Bright citrus notes and just the right amount of sweetness. A perfect finish after a rich meal. Throughout the evening the restaurant stayed lively. Staff moved smoothly, drinks kept flowing, and the entire place had the buzz you hope to see on opening night. Meraki launched with style. The atmosphere feels vibrant. Service was polished. We went for dinner last night and absolutely loved it. Not only is the restaurant stunning, the staff was so kind & knowledgeable. Our food was incredible. The food here is FIVE STAR Quality. I do enjoy the Tim Love collections. The interior is cute and fits the Mediterranean vibe. My Server was kind and attentive. The parking is weird. They offer Valet for $10 but I parked next door in the lot for across the street joint. The Lamb Kofte Kabob is OUTSTANDING. Perfect really. The veggies served with it, just OK. The Spanikopita Snack was crisp and savory. Then the dessert Yogurt Panna Cotta was delicious and like nothing I've ever tasted. Very unique. NOTE. Small Portion Size for the price. You're buying quality, not quantity. Snack, Entree, Dessert and drinks ran me $120 for one person, there was nothing left over to take home. A little Pricey for not a lot of food. read more

I've been here twice. Overall the menu is tapas type servings but without tapas prices. The first time my companion and I shared the lamb kebab, among other things. It was dry and too salty. Second time a different person ordered it and had exactly the same impression-- without my prompting. Another entree- -- grilled prawns-- consisted of 3 over salted prawns. That's an entree? Short rib entree also very salty. Server ok but ungracious. Servers on both occasions are the most aggressive I have ever encountered in a restaurant about suggestions e.g. cocktails and wine, and strongly indicate you should order 3 courses. That would make sense because every dish is so small, but all have big prices. Wine list ( bottles) crazy expensive and "by the glass" meager for the price. read more

I'll be back... Atmosphere is large high ceiling open space, a bit adjusting to incoming light so darker at twilight. Welcoming, walking as well as trying to insist on reservations, but fine without this Saturday night with plenty of room available. Personnel worked well together to keep water glasses full, table bussed when servings were completed. Felt like a Greek bistro from a neighborhood, in a good way. Cocktails with a Greek tinge, and Greek (and other) wines were on the large list. Appetizer, snacking items, dip trio, and other shareable are appropriate for under $20 to nibble through the start. Salads and other mid meal items are there. Try the red pepper and walnut dip, the whipped goat cheese with fig center, and usual eggplant dip. Plenty for 2 to share on the trio sampler. Borek is Greek goat in phyllo with a good Greek relish that had some spiciness from peppers and olives. Then comes the large selection of curated Greek mains. We did the salt baked halibut that was great with the citrus light cream sauce with plenty extra on the side. And broccolini steamed just to the edge of crispness with a scattering of green olive slices that lifted the flavor as designed. Good as a side with the halibut. *$$$$ high, but ***happy hour daily till 5 is half price on the whole menu items (didn't ask about drinks). So this could bring a meal for 2 from 120 down to about $50 as reasonable for the atmosphere, excellent service, great specialty flavors and food. *same ownership but not at all associated any more is the online reservations for the pickleball courts (12?) adjacent but without causing any disturbance in the restaurant. *across from the roadhouse, a couple blocks from the woodshed, hiding behind university village. *Tesla chargers -about 40 slots? Are right at the restaurant. This may be enough for anyone to choose Meraki as a place to fill up the battery as well as mealtime. Never have I seen a place so set up like this for the EV aficionado. read more

3 out of 5 stars. Although Tim Loves food is wonderful and the atmosphere was nice too, we found the service lacking in a big way. We only had an hour and a half to eat and they managed not to take our order until we had been there for 45 mins. By the time we got our food, we did not have time to order dessert or coffee after dinner. Strangely, they pulled the chair out for my husband and not for me. We had to ask for pita bread that comes with the spreads three times before it came. Should rate it 2 stars, but we like Tim Loves taste, but not the overrated service read more

I took my wife here for her birthday and it was big hit. First the ambiance had a nice vibe. Relaxing but also somehow elegant in a not vey elegant building. The service was just what you would expect in an upscale place like this. Everyone on the staff were welcoming and helpful. But the real star was the food. I have eaten here twice and unfortunately very disappointed. Music is way too loud. The decor and ambience are fun but music is so loud you barely can't have a conversation. Food was good the first time but really bad the second time. The lamb and salad were so salty we couldn't eat them. The drinks are not good at all. Margarita is probably the best of the worst. Servers are not friendly and service is so slow. I hope they are reading all the reviews and make some changes because this restaurant has so much potential. read more

Where to start... as soon as my friend and I walk in, the hostess seemed distraught, she asked if we had a reservation, and whenever we replied no, she went non verbal for a good 2 minutes ? She then proceeded to ask for my friends name & phone number without even confirming if there was a wait or not. We were greeted at our table by a nice lady who offered us water. Our server then came and was just very pushy about the daily special. She went on about the special for a longggg time. We were just there for a cocktail and an appetizer, we made it known, but she was very pushy and came up to our table multiple times asking us if we were going to order anything else. Weird experience overall. Come here if you want to experience lifeless service, as If they are reading a script or trying to meet a quota. I am disappointed and probably won't be back again. Birthday dinner for wife. We love Mediterranean and was looking forward to another great Tim Love offering. While the portions are not large, they were wonderful! My low rating is about the service and ambiance alone. The sound was too loud for even my teen daughter to appreciate making us have to talk too loudly and listen too carefully. Easy fix. Service- Mine and our daughters entree's were delivered together while my wife's too an additional 15 to 20 minutes (chicken), so we had cleared our plates before she had even begun eating. The server came three times to ensure us it was coming soon. For a new restaurant I was eager to forgive this. However, when I got the bill I felt stung. No apologies from the many managers on the floor, and no conciliation in the bill. I was even charged for three refills of the two soft drinks at the table while never even requesting the refills. I paid the $250 bill without a word and with full tip for the server. We'll be reluctant to return. read more
