I went to this site where they measured me and got me a next day rental. I picked it up just in time for the wedding. Christy offered for me to try it on, but I declined, thinking there was nothing we could do not fit since the wedding was so close. Come to find out, the pants were a little small, but that's just because of my physique. The wedding went fine but I was a bit self-conscious in my too-small pants. Upon return Christy called me to ask how the wedding went and I told her to which she was extremely disappointed because, had I tried it on like she suggested, she could've fixed the problem there on the spot. So all that being said, three pieces of advice: 1) don't forget your suit 2) if you do, then ensure you go to Men's Wearhouse for next-day rental and 3) try on your suit before the wedding... many lessons learned this trip. I went into MW with my nephew who is graduating c/o 2024, to exchange the pants and shirt he got the day before as we didn't like the way the items fit. At first the attention we were receiving was not good. But I want to thank Marco and Terrell for helping us. We went from skinny fit pants to slim- from a slim fit shirt to a super slim. Marco brought out several options, found shoes to give a complete idea. We also found a tie. Terrell helped with the exchange as it was a bit complicated. I've been to the Dedham location before to purchase suits and had a good experience years ago. I was hesitant to choose the Dedham location due to some of the negative reviews. We were there today to pick out wedding tuxedos for my partner and I. Being a same-sex couple I was worried about how we would be received. We got great service from the manager that was there today, I didn't get his name, but he was helpful and he gave great service . We were there today on Presidents' Day and we were handed over to Tara because the store had gotten busy. She made us at ease and was all about helping us prepare for our special day. You could see the excitement in her making sure that we had the best experience and best tuxedos possible. Neither one of us are very fashion oriented but the process was awesome. Customer service in general can be hit or miss anywhere but we definitely had an excellent experience. A sincere thank you to the manager and Tara. We definitely wouldn't hesitate to return. Ive been shopping at Men's Wearhouse for years. I often use it when traveling when I need something. The people here were nice but not helpful. They weren't very busy and I got the new guy. He didn't know his inventory or how to fit a suit. All he wanted to do was get away from me. Again very polite but unsure of himself. The one gentlemen that did know what to do was very focused on getting the Panera order together and walking over. Their inventory was awful as well. That is likely a problem they can't control but the show room wasn't well organized. I'd skip this one and go to another location. Again good people they just need some leadership. read more

I am the best man at my best friends wedding at the end of April. Went to another MW location and while I did receive service, it was a little less than stellar. I left feeling like each piece of the tux fit wrong. I don't want to mention the specific location because it simply could have been an off day. He edited my previous measurements, asked me my fit preferences, and I was in and out in 20 mins. I was fitted for my suit, which was questionable considering they gave me pants 3 sizes to big and then said I need them tailored, which they could have just gave me a smaller sized waist. The individual that helped me said he would delete notes in my wedding package in order to help the groomsmen, which did not happen which resulted in all of my groomsmen having to make a third trip to Men's Warehouse to pick up a tie. Overall, service and understanding were sub par. For a wedding party of 10, which are spending a lot of money at the Men's warehouse chain, I feel as they put the minimum amount of effort in. I was charged a surprise $140 late fee for returning a tuxedo a week late, the person behind the counter was very dry about the whole thing, telling me "it was due back a while ago" and showed me the fine print which displayed the return date (truthfully I was late but it was only a week), but I was never previously informed of the return date or a fee, felt like an easy way to screw people. The employee pretended to save me money which was meaningless against the huge cost I was never warned about. Too bad, I'll have to find another suit store. read more

Thinking of how to review this store was difficult because I have mixed feelings about my experience. The pros: When I walked into the store I was warmly greeted by an employee who made it a point to talk with us about not only suit options but tuxedo rental. Both employees who helped were really polite and helpful. They had incredible personalities and made looking at options fun. The cons: The pricing that I got from this store was way more than the pricing that I got from the other store a day before. When I asked about that they told me that the other store must have given me false info. This was a bit off putting but again the other aspects were great. In the end, I loved the personal service I got but the pricing was frustrating. I feel as though the company needs to do a better job of making the pricing even across the boards. read more

The men of the party had their needs - "basic tux with basic shoes and red vests" - evaluated by Crystal, who tried to upsell them at every chance. She even lied and said that they only had designer tuxes available-yeah, right! Went to another location to fix the issues they made the first time around. Called Dedham to give constructive criticism about their customer service and got hung up on. Picked up the tuxes and they fit OK but my fiance's vest was frayed-noticeably. The hawkish manager appeared out of nowhere and tried to convince us it was fine. Then he said, "If you were here before 5 we could have done something about it." I recently rented a tux from this Men's Wearhouse location for a close friend's wedding. I was a groomsman and came with the groom to rent some kickin threads. The process was smooth and quick, though we had to select everything ourselves (two-20 something dudes scoping out wedding gear = potential disaster) because we really didn't get much useful assistance. Thankfully, on the wedding day, the tuxes looked great and fit well, too. But Men's Wearhouse gets a 2-star review instead of a 3-star review because of the terrible customer service. I was one day late returning my tux, and they charged me a $20 late fee, which they refused to waive. Call me cheap or whiny, but I can't recall the last time I was charged a high-margin bullshit fee from a consumer-facing business that wasn't waived immediately when I requested it. Why stick me with a $20 fee when the entire wedding party spent close to $1,000? Here's a paraphrase of my fee-waive request: Me: I'm a day late because I don't live near any Men's Wearhouses. Cashier: I could waive the fee.... Me: That'd be great. Cashier: ... but I won't. Me: Please. Cashier: No. Me: Why? Cashier: Cuz. Me: Aha. Cashier: Mm hmm. Corporate customer service was just as useless, which is unfortunate because apparently Men's Wearhouse started its tuxedo rental program to woo young customers like myself and hook them on Men's Wearhouse. Too bad for them. I had a poor experience at Men's Wearhouse - the consultant gave my brother and I the run around trying to get a custom suit tailored. He was aggressive with his tactics - when it was "completed" he informed us that the $250 suit we were fitted for was not available and tried to up sell us on other suits ranging from $350-$400. This was not the agreed upon prices and he never came close to delivering a similar suit or price. Additionally, with the original suit, tailoring of the suit was "free" but with the up-selling, I would have had to pay an additional $200 to get it to fit. This was a terrible experience and I am not sure if I will be returning after this experience. read more

Bank) always have a problem with the measurements. For me, the pants are always WAY to big. Oh my, I don't know where to start. My future hubby and I visited this location today for his tuxedo rental and we couldn't get out of there fast enough... The staff here is extremely rude and useless, they showed him one of the tuxedo jackets, but refused to let him try it on! I was not about to be defeated so I called the location on Milk Street in downtown Boston, the guy seemed nice enough on the phone so we stopped in. We showed up 30 minutes later, we were greeted by a very friendly sales associate and walked out with a tuxedo ordered for the fiance and his groomsmen, couldn't be happier wth the Milk Street location. Do yourself a favor and never come here. If you're getting married, you can just go to Macy's where you can buy a suit for close to the same price as a rental. Their 'name brand' styles are also low quality, and the look and feel of their clothing feels a couple years old. To top it off, their staff didn't even measure my legs when I came in to get measured. If you ever go in there, be prepared to wait a while and watch while staff explains their complicated system to other staff. read more

To be up front, I've never worn a tux before, so this was a new experience to me. Also, the wedding is not until the fall, so I am basing this off of the selection process. I came to this Men's Wearhouse on a Sunday with my fiancée and best man to pick out tuxes for our wedding. I didn't make an appointment, but we walked in and someone came to work with us after just a couple minutes. She was very friendly and fairly knowledgeable. We sat down and went over basics; name, date, locations. No problem, although she seemed to be directing all of the questions to my fiancée instead of me, but no big deal. After the basic stuff, she asked what we were looking for. I wanted the guys in charcoal gray. My biggest complaint is the lack of options we had for rentals. Since I wanted a dark gray tux, we had all of one tux to pick from. It is perfectly nice (I went with it), but it was kind of disappointing that there wasn't a selection. Same goes for the ties--we're picturing the guys with burnt orange ties, but they hardly had any orange at all, so we had to use the coral tie and pocket square she had available to imagine what the finished product will look like. That's probably not a terribly common color, but I figured they could at least have one solid orange tie. Next we went through and selected the other pieces of the tux. All of the samples they have were very dirty. The groom is traditionally in all white (or ivory or some other variation of white depending on the bride's dress apparently), but the samples they had for vests were all browning from use... it seemed somewhat unprofessional. Once we had picked out everything (vest, shoes, etc.) I figured my best man or I would be able to try them on. It didn't seem like that was going to be offered, so I asked, and was obliged. We liked how everything looked, so we got measured and put down deposits. This whole process took roughly an hour and a half. We picked Men's Wearhouse since it has a reputable name and we figured it would be more cost friendly than some of the designer places. The experience was all and all okay, but not quite what I was expecting (lack of selection is my biggest complaint, though the cleanliness of the samples was a turn off too). I'd like to give it 2.5 stars and say it was okay, but there aren't half-star ratings. read more

I had a guy that worked here for a long time take good care of me and I was always happy. Except, there always seemed to be some mix up with delivery of a special order or something else that had nothing to do with the salesman I worked with. I just bought a suit here last week. Actually , I bought TWO because of a sale. I was very unhappy with the salesman I dealt with, Jonathan. Unhelpful. Complete disregard for my budget concerns and had an attitude like he couldn't be bothered with my sale or my opinion. Even huffing when I asked for different color, different shoes or to see what other shoes he may have in my size out back. Yes, I was buying TWO suits, a nice belt AND the damn SHOES and this guy is pissed that I want to see if there is any other options for my new outfit. What an ASS! So, while helping me, he takes a call from a clearly disgruntled customer on the phone and he is a complete ass to that person as well!! I should have just walked out and gone to another store or better yet asked for the manager. This guy is ridiculous! Now, I stay, because I want the suits I picked out. They both need alterations and one set of pants need to be ordered. I explained I have a wedding to attend the following week and he says it won't be a problem, they will call when pants come in and I can come in, get fitted and they will make needed alterations, meanwhile making needed alterations to the second suit I bought that was complete in stock. Two days before wedding now, no call. I call them. The girl on phone says give me your phone number and name and we will call you back. No call. Of course. Now I have a wedding to go to tomorrow and I have bought TWO SUITS, spending over $1000 and all I have is a pair of shoes and a belt!!!!!! WTF!!!! Stay away! I will NEVER shop here again! I finally called today and they told me yes it was ready. Went to pick it up. Tried it on. BUT the pants were too long. The cuff too long. Pants were cuffed. I specifically told them I don't want cuffs. They promised of course that they would fix it. Like I would expect anything less. But another two weeks and another trip I must make to go get it. Granted, you're not buying a super high-quality suit... Upon entering, was immediately greeted in a friendly manner by the store manager, who asked me what brought me into the store. I had told him I was starting a new job (one week from the day). Within less than 20 minutes, I was walking out with two of the nicest fitting. The manager, Eric made sure that I was completely satisfied with the fit, and did everything in his power to ensure I had a good shopping experience. Went in to pick up my rental tuxedo shoes and they didn't even have me on file which made no type of sense... When I even used a card? Does that make any type of sense. I've been shopping at this location for years but after what I experienced while renting a tux I will never go back. I went in early April to rent two tuxedos for a wedding I was in out of state. After not receiving a notification for pickup I called to follow up as I was told my tuxedos would definitely be ready days before my actual pickup date. When I called the first time I got a sales person who didn't seem interested in helping me and just stated you'll get a text when it's ready. The next day a friend went into pick up his tux and inquired on my behalf. We then discovered that my pickup dates were entered incorrectly by a sales person. I'll spare all the details but I was crushed and frustrated as I was in the wedding party. This location found another tux which differed from what I had originally ordered and it arrived the day before I left town. The jacket was too big the shoes were also not what I ordered and requested. Because I recieved this order so late there was no way they could alter the jacket. I was also unable to secure shoes either so I had to rush out to several stores to find a pair the night before my flight out of town. As If this wasn't horrible enough on wedding day as I took the white dress shirt out I noticed four brown stains on the arm forcing me to yet again come up with a plan b. Mere hours before my best friend got married I had to leave the pre wedding festivities to go out and purchase a dress shirt. I have never in all my years of shopping at mens warehouse have had such a horrendous experience from start to finish.
