I had a wonderful experience working with Cecelia (she was absolutely amazing -- kind, patient, and genuinely helpful), but unfortunately, everything else about this experience has been so disappointing. I was told my dress would arrive at my house within a week. I planned everything around that timeline -- fittings, alterations, you name it. A week passed, and I hadn't heard anything. When I reached out to check on it, I found out on my own that my dress was actually backordered indefinitely. No one from Anthropologie bothered to contact me or give me an update. For something as important and emotional as a wedding dress, this kind of lack of communication is just unacceptable. I trusted that I was in good hands, but it really feels like the company dropped the ball completely. The whole process left me feeling stressed, disappointed, and honestly heartbroken. Anthropologie needs to do so much better -- brides shouldn't have to chase down information about their own wedding dresses. I will not be recommending Anthropologie in the future.

We decided to try walking in anyway, and the check-in process was straightforward. We spent some time browsing suits before eventually sitting down on the benches on the second and third floors. It took probably 20 minutes before we were seen. Shay was our associate and did a great job helping my partner find a suit that matched his preferences while also suggesting other colors and textures to consider. We did need some alterations, but those were completed in a timely manner. We returned a few days later to pick up the suit, and the entire process was straightforward and easy from start to finish. Thanks again to Shay and the team for making this a great experience!

What a horrible shopping experience we had here this weekend! Unfortunately, we learned that you need dedicated appointments in order to try anything on, and were snootily informed that their dedicated café downstairs is only for if you are "waiting for alterations or already are a client." The way we were spoken to was rude and pretentious and it seems like laughably bad customer service to make potential paying customers wait for over an hour while not being allowed to make purchases at their in-store cafe. If that's acceptable customer service for you, then this could be the place for you.

The sales section is large, a whole back room, but no matter what day I come, it appears picked over and anemic. The sizes tend to be heavy on the XL and the XS, with not much variety in the middle. The staff are distant, but generally non-offensive. My boyfriend, however, experienced a unreasonably poor service moment last Saturday. A sales woman told him that J Crew was having a "private sale" event that would guarantee him 75% off summer suits, if he opened a J Crew credit card. Boyfriend, not needing a suit but enticed by such a fantastic deal, tried on, and subsequently fell in love with a linen, navy suit. He confirmed with the sales lady again that it would be 75% off. When said boyfriend attempted to purchase the suit - he was rudely rebuffed by the cashier/manager. Boyfriend explained that he confirmed the deal with the the sales woman, but cashier behaved as though my boyfriend was trying to pull a fast one. He did not call over the cashier, and he scolded my boyfriend for believing such a sale would ever exist. Needless to say, no suit was purchased. Pro tip: generally credit card offer deals gain you about 30% off purchase, so if offered more, ask to speak to a manager before you become emotionally connected to the garment in question. Fluky Saturday aside, this store generally is pretty good. J Crew seems to be having a ton more sales recently, ever since their stock listing price plummeted, and their clothes have gotten a lot more adventurous and bohemian in recent months. This store is generally more peaceful and quiet then some of their more urban situated stores.

Can always count on their stores for great finds, for amazing prices. I was not hunting anything in particular today BUT I was met with a great find when I was waiting in the checkout line-- a DryBar Beach Bender Waver, for $56! When I looked the hair tool up on Google, it still showed as full price at other stores, so of course I HAD TO GET IT. I was so excited to use it, it was the first thing I did when I got home. Works perfectly & gives the most beautiful waves. Anyways, back to actually reviewing the store. You never know what you're gonna find at Marshall's. There's an endless amount of great finds to be found here... seriously. Highly recommend! Parking: Parking garages are free to park at Arsenal Yards! ;)
