Going to Framingham is not convenient at all, but I arrived shortly after they opened on a weekday to avoid what I assume is craziness on the weekends. She was so nice that I actually felt badly for not being a regular customer, and every store needs someone like her!

horrible store! Horrible service. Horrible smell…read more it's smells horrible both times I went in. Yanni was the rudest employee i have ever come across. And did I mention how BAD the store smells. It smells rotten. it must be the woman running the store. I have never walked into a store and have the smell of something disgusting enter my face the way it did when I walked into Theory. And not to mention the clothes. No style what so ever. And the prices are outrageous for the garments. That mixed with the disgusting smell and HORRIBLE SERVICE. I recommend shopping EVERYWHERE but Theory. Go somewhere else for nice clothes. This store is the WORST.

Sweaters purchased as Christmas gifts less than 2 weeks before. No signs in store stating that this was all sales final. No one told me that when I purchased them. I spent over $1,100 in that store in December abd they would not let me exchange $236 of merchandise for different size. Horrible policy. Do not buy this brand.

I judge stores mainly by their sale section, (+) or (-) any unique service experiences. This J…read moreCrew is profoundly average. The sales section is large, a whole back room, but no matter what day I come, it appears picked over and anemic. The sizes tend to be heavy on the XL and the XS, with not much variety in the middle. The staff are distant, but generally non-offensive. My boyfriend, however, experienced a unreasonably poor service moment last Saturday. A sales woman told him that J Crew was having a "private sale" event that would guarantee him 75% off summer suits, if he opened a J Crew credit card. Boyfriend, not needing a suit but enticed by such a fantastic deal, tried on, and subsequently fell in love with a linen, navy suit. He confirmed with the sales lady again that it would be 75% off. When said boyfriend attempted to purchase the suit - he was rudely rebuffed by the cashier/manager. Boyfriend explained that he confirmed the deal with the the sales woman, but cashier behaved as though my boyfriend was trying to pull a fast one. He did not call over the cashier, and he scolded my boyfriend for believing such a sale would ever exist. Needless to say, no suit was purchased. Pro tip: generally credit card offer deals gain you about 30% off purchase, so if offered more, ask to speak to a manager before you become emotionally connected to the garment in question. Fluky Saturday aside, this store generally is pretty good. J Crew seems to be having a ton more sales recently, ever since their stock listing price plummeted, and their clothes have gotten a lot more adventurous and bohemian in recent months. This store is generally more peaceful and quiet then some of their more urban situated stores.

I was envisioning a much larger selection. They did have a few pieces to stop and give pause but nothing earth shattering. Now what I will say is that they had a fully stocked skincare/haircare section that had amazing deals and 75% of the stock was name brand products. The purse section was also pretty well stocked though I think you'll find more of a variety at Burlington with better price points. The remainder of the store had similar offerings that the other various Tj Maxx's have in the region just slightly more upscale with no sparse shelves or racks. So overall worth a stop, but slightly lower your expectations if you were specifically coming in for Runway and only Runway.

After going to TJMAXX down the street and Marshall's it seems they have a similar selection and I noticed many of the same items showing up at both stores. The selection is good for the men's clothes but did not find any amazing steals like name brand with huge discounts in my size. I left with a pair of $15 running shorts which I liked. Can always count on their stores for great finds, for amazing prices. I was not hunting anything in particular today BUT I was met with a great find when I was waiting in the checkout line-- a DryBar Beach Bender Waver, for $56! When I looked the hair tool up on Google, it still showed as full price at other stores, so of course I HAD TO GET IT. I was so excited to use it, it was the first thing I did when I got home. Works perfectly & gives the most beautiful waves. Anyways, back to actually reviewing the store. You never know what you're gonna find at Marshall's.
