Clearly not my kind of children's clothing place. I'm just fine with Savers $4 shirts that are practically brand new or Carters $8 for the splurge. Obviously this store is catering to a different crowd. Also, they didn't have a changing table in a children/baby store... no thanks.

Great place to come if you enjoy nice quality brands and items, at discounted prices. Lots of popular sneaker brands here, such as HOKA, OnCloud, & Brooks. The sneakers are usually on sale here for less than $100; Saw a pair of Women's Brooks for $70 the other day. I was able to snag a new pair of OnClouds (OnCloud X3) for $90 & the same style + color is still full price at Nordstrom for $150. Also, many nice clothing brands like Levi, Joe's Jeans, TopShop, Naked Wardrobe, Good American, AGOLDE, etc can be found here. These brands of jeans are sold here for $30-$90 when typically full price is ~$200. Totally recommend!

I'm hoping they do the right thing and call me tomorrow with the whereabouts of my daughter's shoes. Shoes were at the store the emailed me that they were ready my mistake was calling and asking to confirm. They then saw what shoe and the price I got them for and boom they vanished. I felt kind of guilty for seeking this place out (a friend who lives nearby recommended it) in the…read morefirst place, since I've been trying to economize lately. And having read some of the earlier reviews, I was prepared for this place to sell $200 scarves and candles. That being said, Nest does indeed sell high-end merch like jewelry. It would not be out of place in the South End. The walls were full of art from a local photographer that was amazing, but I don't have $325 to drop on a 24 x 8 inch panel right now. It's definitely one of the best-smelling stores I have ever been to, but the most expensive candle was $48, not two bills. However, there was a pretty sizeable selection of "reasonably priced" items, like $24 scarves, wine racks on sale, little foodstuff items, hair accessories. I ended up picking up two $12 leather-and-studded headbands which were cool. It's definitely the kind of place where you're either shopping for yourself or a woman whose taste you know really, really well. Because you're dealing with a home store with an independently-curated selection of stuff, the gifts aren't safely generic like Pottery Barn or Williams-Sonoma--I hope that makes sense. I really have a bias against indifferent customer service. So the only serious ding was that the woman behind the counter basically did not acknowledge or speak to me until I asked if I could put the headbands at the register while I shopped some more--she was sweet as could be and chatty after that. There was only one other customer in the store, who also got ignored until she made a purchase. I don't like feeling like I have to pay to get a hello out of someone. But I'll definitely be back again sometime the next time I'm in the nabe.

At the start of the appointment, five of the dresses I wished to try on were pulled and placed into my fitting room. From there, Taty was able to make informed decisions to pull more dresses that catered to my vision. She helped me into the dress, clipped to my body, and even held my train and walked me to the podium. I also appreciated her expertise to help add a belt embellishment or veil to tie the dress together. Each dress was better than the next!! Not only were the dresses beautiful with a wide variety of options and variances, but they were so affordable! Everything shown was in my price range and I was even happily surprised that some dresses I tried on were On Sale. Angela's Bridal has great selection and value, with the added bonus of Off the Rack options! I give it a 10/10 for dress selection in the store! Don't get me wrong, the salesman was very helpful pulling sizes and giving great advice. The tailor was also knowledgeable and did a good and was friendly. Things however went quickly south when we got to the cashier to pay. To say that the young woman at the register was rude as an understatement. There was not only a lack of basic retail service skills, but the young woman's attitude was borderline hostile. Basic questions about the breakdown of the charges and any discounts we might be able to take advantage of were met with rolled eyes, huffing, and puffing...at one point she literally walked away and starting ringing up another customer! I've worked retail and know it's a tough job, but this is NOT who you behave with customers, especially when we were nothing but courteous. K&G, do better with vetting, hiring, and training your staff! This was absolutely ridiculous. I'm angry that I had to interact with this person and your company should be ashamed to employ someone like that.
