Service is very good and the selection is sufficient for a range of body types and preferences (wool, the stretchy athletic sort of material, cotton). The clothing definitely lasts and there are traditional and stylish options. A but disappointed the company discontinued some of their more extreme sizing options, but even the tallest and skinniest can be accommodated by the knowledgeable staff. Good sized dressing rooms, parking, convenient hours, sales on the regular so the prices are reasonable. It's a reliable place for men's clothes. read more

If you are looking for a place to get tuxes or suits fitted for a wedding DO NOT go here. Only 1 person out of 11 people did not have problems. They actually sent two of my groomsmen to men's warehouse to get the tux sleeves shortened. I also requested that we do suspenders instead of vests and I was told that would be fine and won't be a problem (ended up being a huge problem). I ended up getting charged for a vest and someone else did too so they had to refund us the money. Some people got sent home with vests and some with suspenders less than a week before the wedding. One person didn't get sent home with a vest or suspenders lol. They take all these measurements and somehow still mess all the measurements up for almost everyone in my wedding party. The people that got sent to men's warehouse went back to men's warehouse to pick up the tux and they said they didn't have it anymore and couldn't track it because it was with Jos A. Bank. So they went back to Jos A bank at 10:00am when they were supposed to be open and the doors were locked. Luckily they waited and someone showed up close to 11am to let them in. A total shitshow from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out without a tux rental, only to have to deal with some other place next weekend (not like I have time to run around to tux shops). I would have given a 3 if the person they assigned me to could understand what I was saying and I could have actually gotten the info I needed to settle on a tux. I was constantly having to re-explain something I'd already said very clearly, would get interrupted and told something that has nothing to do with what I was asking about, etc. Also, the book with the tuxes did t give enough info about vents in back, lengths, etc. was impossible to make a decision without that info, and they didn't know it. Radi and Helen were wonderful to deal with and my whole experience couldn't have been better. I stopped by the store to update my wardrobe with a couple of new jackets for the summer. I wasn't sure what I wanted. Helen quickly sorted me out and picked some that fit my taste and size ( not a slim or small here). She picked out some nice shirts that complimented and even found me a tie that I liked. The part that really made my night was that Radi helped me out with the fitting on the jacket. He was all set to recommend alterations, took a a look and said, "we don't need to change anything. This looks good!" He was right. And, I'll be back. read more

After a bad week and having a NYE wedding tomorrow we walked in here crossing our fingers that we would find a reasonably priced suit, we got that and so much more. When it comes to sizing Bob was fantastic. He pretty much looked at my boyfriend and knew what would fit best. When it comes to matching colors and accessories Debbie was unreal! She showed us so many different styles and color combos she was easy to talk to and upbeat! Their seamstress was as sweet as ever, and although it was extremely busy promised she would have the alterations done by 6pm and we just got the call at 3:30 that it's all set and ready to go! If there was an option for no stars that would be my pick. RADI IS THE WORST. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!!! We went to JAB for our suits for the wedding. WHAT A TERRIBLE MISTAKE!!! We went into the store in the beginning of August, thinking okay, that's fine, there are a ton of locations in the US. Every single person had an issue with their suit. My husband picked up his suit 2 days before the wedding. People were measured wrong, shirts/ties/pants/jackets ALL ordered wrong. They caused me so much stress and anxiety throughout this process. I will never, even if you paid me, go to this location or a JAB again. I dealt with Radi and the manager Jess. Radi dealt with some family issues during my wedding preparations, leaving all of my stuff at the wayside. I understand that someone can go through issues but there were 9 suits that were being bought. 9. I was embarrassed by the terrible customer service and treatment that I got from both the manager and Radi (who was the store manager). Don't go to this location. They will lie to your face and tell you that your order will go through but will actually take months. Place is a disgrace. read more

This location has absolutely the worst customer service. I just walked into the store at 5:53, 7 minutes before closing, and no one we visible. I had an exchange so I picked out the shirt and walked up to the register. The lights were shut off on me and Debbie rudely said that she was closed since she already locked up. This was after my original purchase where there were three people working and and not one person offered to help me. They also watched me struggle with my big, a toddler, and a stroller to get out the door. Do not shop here. Incredibly rude people. read more

We picked JAB for wedding tuxes since they are located in several states and our groomsmen are scattered throughout the US. We called to make an appointment and were told an appointment wasn't needed. After waiting for an hour and a half, we were asked if we wanted to come back. Are you serious? I can only hope that they get the measurements correct and there are no screw ups when the wedding actually arrives. read more

Awful follow-up customer service--obviously once the cash register rings, they could care less about the customer. While the saleswoman that helped me find two suits was superb (and I hope would find a job somewhere else before her reputation in tarnished), the follow up service--particularly the tailor--was so awful I would never go back to this store. One suit promised to be ready on a date certain was, sort of. I went in the morning only to hear, with no apology, that it wasn't ready but would 'probably' be ready after 5 p.m. that day. In fact, it was finished the day after. The buttons were crooked and the pants were short, but having no option to redo those (which would have been possible had the suit been ready when they said it would be), I had to return to the store to get them fixed, which initiated another entire set of problems when the tailor wasn't around when I was told she would be and, again, the manager offered no apology, suggesting I "wait around until she showed up". When was she coming? They didn't know. Really? I could just hang around as if I have nothing better to do? I cannot wait to never come back here. read more

I went to Jos. A Bank for a suit. I had an interview in three days and was working with very short notice. The suit was ready in two days as I had requested. I believe the typical wait time is two weeks though they were very flexible when I needed them to be. They sell high-quality suits at a reduced rate and always seem to have major deals going on. I purchased a top of the line mens gold thread suit. Paid extra for the crease, and received a sloppy crease. I wore it twice and thought the cleaners would be able to iron out the crease. Not the case. Worse yet the pant seems are coming undone as well as one of the jacket cuffs. I wont be back due to the inferior workmanship. read more

I need to share with you the terrible service we received at the Jos A. Bank location in Dedham, MA. My son recently got married and they chose JAB store to rent the tuxes since they are located in many states. One of the groomsmen lives in NYC and was unable to get home to get fitted so he went to a JAB location in NYC. The first complaint is about a little ring bearer whose suit didn't fit so we had to scramble back to the store the next day for a remedy. The biggest complaint is about the father of the groom. We picked up his tux 2 days before the wedding. The store manager advised he had inventoried the order and all was correct. When the FOG tried on the shirt, the collar was too tight. As a former dry cleaner he knew that although the size of the shirt was correct, it had shrunk because of multiple washings and the shirt was no longer its true size. We went back to the store to get a collar extender (which by the way should have been a standard piece of the ensemble). The sales person in the store at the time had no clue what a collar extender was. I asked him to call the manager at home to find out what we could do since time was of the essence. The store manager told the sales person where he thought the extenders were located and after 15-20 minutes of turning the store upside down, he could not find them. He also admitted he had never heard of them, didn't know what they looked like and in "all his years working there nobody ever asked for one." We found that very hard to believe since a collar extender is a staple item in men's clothing. We were told to come back yet again the next morning when the store manager would be there and would give us the extender. Now we're talking one day before the wedding with all kinds of things to do, places to go and people to see. We could not get back to the store. With our brilliant thinking we dropped into our local dry cleaner who happily gave us a collar extender for free. As you can only imagine, we were very stressed as one would be anyway one day before a wedding. I don't understand why measurements are taken when at the end of the day some of the tuxes are delivered with the wrong sizes and there's nothing JAB can do. It seems as if the tux rental section is different from the sales area. We asked the sales person to give us a shirt with the proper collar size which he could not do. My recommendation is to go to a tux rental store that specializes only in tux rentals. I wish we would have been able to do that. BTW, the NY groomsman's pants were too short but we had no recourse since he could only get home hours before the wedding. read more
