Lots of spring dresses and clothes right now. Lots of Easter bunnies and chocolates. Spring is in the air for sure! Their food aisle has interesting stuff. Got some jars of pasta sauce, some chips - sweet potato ranch flavored - yummy hubs really liked those. Also some plantain chips and chili lime chicken peas and a box of instant ginger chai. Service was friendly- cashier was nice. And they have restrooms. Plus some of their furniture includes comfy chairs which is great for hubs to sit while I'm shopping. Today, I got to spend some time at Arsenal Yards Watertown, & stumbled upon this Marshalls! I love Marshalls & all of the TJX Companies stores. Can always count on their stores for great finds, for amazing prices. I was not hunting anything in particular today BUT I was met with a great find when I was waiting in the checkout line-- a DryBar Beach Bender Waver, for $56! When I looked the hair tool up on Google, it still showed as full price at other stores, so of course I HAD TO GET IT. I was so excited to use it, it was the first thing I did when I got home. Works perfectly & gives the most beautiful waves. Anyways, back to actually reviewing the store. You never know what you're gonna find at Marshall's. Nice to see they have a Marshall's at arsenal, they had yellow tag sale going on and the lady managed to find some super cool finds. It's your typical Marshall's, average space as others and well organized overall! The lady managed to snag a Dry bar beach bender (hair tool haha) for like 60% off full price being sold for online still! $50 Also a nice ramen bowl set for $7!! AN ABSOLUTELY MUST DO! 5 STARS! Usually the words Fun, Tasty, Healthy & Inexpensive don't go together in the same sentence. Well now they do! Everyone loves a little yummy treat. The problem with a lot of the commercially available ice cream desserts is they are expensive & loaded with all kinds of junk. What the heck is in this? Some of the ingredients list will have you looking up & researching on the internet the whole day long. Marshalls is selling these silicone popsicle molds in really cool shapes, designs & colors. They look just like they came from an old school ice cream truck. There is great portion control built right in with each individual pop. I took some organic oranges peeled them & put them in the blender until liquified. Then I just poured them into the popsicle molds & froze overnight. Easy Breezy! They came out Great Tasty & Totally Healthy! I tried them just plain for the first time out. Next time I'll add yogurt, seeds, nuts, chocolate, fresh or frozen fruits maybe even sneak a few veggies in too etc. Mix it up. They have books on how to make cool pops on Amazon & Barnes & Noble. They also have videos on how to make Cool Pops on YouTube & other websites on the internet. You won't ever run out of ideas & mix in your own concoctions as well. WHAT A GREAT PRODUCT! They also had a Cool Ice Cube Tray in the shape of Strawberries. These are available at select Marshalls across the country. This Marshall's is located in Arsenal Yards in Watertown .MA. This is a former US Army facility for ammunition that is being beautifully transformed into a Mecca Hub of Shopping, Restaurants & Entertainment. This is a great example in architecture called adaptive reuse. Instead of knocking something down & filling up the landfills & polluting the planet. They use what's there & transform the space into something that's new, completely different, functioning & vibrant. There is Free Parking here as well & more spaces are being developed on this 40 acre parcel with buildings. Lots more cool places are coming here, situated on the banks of the Charles River & just 15 minutes outside of Boston. It's on the US National Register of Historic Places & was established in 1816. It's pretty Amazing to see what's going on here. It used to be, you had to have Mega Bucks & be really Rich to have the Good Life, not anymore. The Game has changed. You've been Upgraded. It is semi new (as arsenal yards is) and pretty clean. But, it is definitely smaller than most other Marshalls locations I have been to. There are plenty of options but the bigger locations obviously allow space for more. read more

The only store left in what at one time was the Arsenal Mall. Even though it is in the midst of a construction zone (August 2019), the place was pretty busy. Surprisingly I could not find a thing to buy. No shoes. No dresses. No WiFi in the store. And a cellular dead zone (ATT). read more

This Marshall's location makes me feel depressed and sad every time I enter. In fact, I refuse to believe it's a real Marshall's location at all and not some weird copycat version. The barren state of unorganized decline is too much disappointment for my Marshall- loving-heart to take. I don't get why the bar is so low here? Low stock, no stock, same stuff sitting in the racks for months in a row. I will drive miles out of the way just to feel like I'm at a legit Marshall's store, but every so often it draws me back in with the hope it's gotten better. I just need to break up with this store forever. Also... at no other location have I experienced the aggressive pressuring of signing up for a store credit card. My polite declines are always challenged and turn into a 5 minute ordeal...I just want to pay for my stuff and leave, thanks! read more

It's fine, but I find the fact that the changing rooms are gendered very stupid. There's maybe 10 women's rooms and 2 men, and there's always a line for the men's rooms while there's five free women's changing rooms at any given moment. What. Is. The. Point. read more

In general, I like Marshall's. The only problem is you have to constantly check it for stuff and it does not always have what you need. The prices are ok ... sometimes you get an amazing deal and then other times I feel like items are inflated. I do agree with other reviews that I think it is not very organized and can be messy when compared to other ones in the area. I've gotten some nice buys here on top shelf skincare and cosmetics here but it's kind of hit or miss with the clothing. The merchandise here changes frequently so you should always check back and see what's new. The store isn't always very well organized and it's kind of hard to navigate at times. And never come when time is of essence because the checkout experience is a little on the slower side. This is however one of the very few stores that I shop at the Arsenal Mall and I always seem to keep coming back whenever I'm out this way. read more

It's been said before. The Arsenal Mall is a bit scary. But, it's minutes from my work and sometimes a necessity. I stopped into Marshall's again today and I was reminded how much I love their new shoe dept. It's a thousand times better than what it used to be - at this location anyway. Anyway, I adore Tahari. Anything Tahari. Everything Tahari. I have gotten several pairs of Tahari shoes here - including an incredible pair of brown leather dressy flats today (for $29). And, I got a pair of brown Tahari dress pants (only $59). I'm a bargain shopper so I can't bring myself to shop at the "real" Tahari store in Back Bay. I'm totally okay with last season's discounts available at Marshall's. They're still in style and they still says Tahari and we all know, that's what really counts. read more

I am an avid Marshall's shopper, and a PRO at it, too. This one, in Watertown is my favorite. 2nd Place: South Bay, Dorchester; 3rd Place: Downtown Crossing; 4th: Medford. If you enjoy the thrill of finding something new each and every time you go, Marshall's is for you. Sometimes (seldom) you may not find anything, but you can usually find something. They get extra points for having layaway! Can you believe that? Who has layaway these days?? I prefer the men's section and guy's clothes, and all the Marshall's will keep you stylish and looking flyy for budget friendly prices. I can't say much more about Marshall's, other than it's my favorite place to shop! My wife loves to go, too, although she prefers TJ Maxx and H&M. She always find neat stuff, too. Some of my friends laugh at me because there are carts, and they are too "wanna be bougie" to place their clothing items in a cart, but that's okay- I outdress them EVERY day of the week. read more

Marshalls is a great store to find design brand clothing at deep discount prices. However, I have been to many Marshalls stores in my day, and this is not one of the better locations. My first issue with them, which is more of an annoyance to me, is their website and receipt (I have included some of my annoyances in some of my other reviews, which I'm guessing people find absurd, but they are still problems that should be fixed!). The issue is that the website and receipt's from this store all read : "455 Arsenal Street, Watertown MA 02474", while it really should read: "485 Arsenal Street, Watertown MA 02472". Both the street number and zip code are off, and should be fixed. Each time I call, they say they will fix it, and every time I come back to the store or check the online site, I come to find that it's still wrong. Now before I explain what this store is like in comparison to my standards, people reading should know, my standards reflect other Marshalls locations, and how this location in Watertown is much lower on my list in comparison to others, like the Newton store. Marshalls is still a discount store (which I recognize), and I don't expect the same level of satisfaction from here as Nordstroms. Anyway, the store really isn't great anyway. The floors are always dirty, when they should look at least white without so many dark marks and for that matter, not many signs of wear whatsoever. The selection is also far from superb. The men's section was very dull, and the home section was worse. Nothing really stood out, and everything was just really in disarray. The staff were fine, but constantly in the way, as the store is much smaller and busier than others like the Newton location. I don't know who chose for the staff to decide to bring large racks of clothing out into the busy aisles on any Saturday here.... they need to do a major re-do of everything here. There isn't much good about this store, and they have much to work on. Not a great experience, in comparison to other nearby Marshalls. 2 stars. read more

I don't like the fact that they make you wait on line if you have to return something - what happened to the one girl that did all that? I went during school shopping days and lemme tell you, some customers are just plain slobs. Why can't you just put the stuff back on the rack, yo?! Stop dropping it on the floor. I am not happy with the cashier who helped me. I was carrying a baby and she somehow wanted me to show her where the tags were on the basket I was trying to purchase. I told her it was on the inside and she seemed to have a very bad attitude toward me. In general I like Marshalls and Tj Maxx .... sometimes I find amazing deals. I bought a Tummy jacket for $20 that was originally priced at $180. However, this specific Marshalls is just ok! It might be the best shop in the Arsenal mall beside GAP outlet but still it doesn't have a good variety of products. Staff are a bit slow. One time it took 15 mins for one of the staff to find a price of one product. Overall, it's ok if you just want to waste an hour going through the shop to find great deals. read more

This Marshalls may just be a glowing beacon of hope in the Arsenal Mall! (well, the recent addition of Sports Authority helps as well) I used to shop at Marshalls a lot growing up (and TJ Max) Always a great place to get deals. We were not a wealthy family, and finding Name brand Jeans for $25 at marshals instead of getting $20 jeans at KMart of Caldor (yes, Caldor - am I really that old now?!). Somewhere along the way, I lost site of the value, and became to stuck up. My frequent scouring of the store turned into an occasional visit to get sports wear (yes, somehow for about 10 years all I bought at marshalls was workout gear, sweatpants, shorts, warm up pants, etc) Why did I stop shopping there?? I still saw the value of getting these items that I didnt want to overpay for - yet for all my other clothing needs, I felt like paying more. What was WRONG with me! So finally over the last few months I have decided it was worth looking around more than 20% of the store. Should I Assume it is the same it has always been? Well I am glad I finally got off my high horse and decided to get a bargain again! And not just on the normal casual clothes - but on everything. Nice Cole Haan Shoes - Yes please! Ralph Lauren suits - Of course! Lucky Jeans - wow, why are they so CHEAP! I then started to notice some things... like the Izod shirts I bought at Macys... for 1/3 the price. And the Calvin Klein belts I bought at macys... for 1/3 the price... Well, you get the point. Yes, the selection may not be as good as a department store, and you may have to search, but it is WORTH it! Some of the deals Lucky Jeans - normally $75 for $25 Cole Hann Chukka Boots - NOrmally $150 for $69.99 Village Candle Jar Candles - Normally $19.99 (at stop and shop), for $7 I could go on and on and on for the list... it is a great place for 'staples' (tshirts, underwear, socks, etc). Always a lot of 'name brands' (do you need tommy hilfiger undershirts? no, but if they are $9.99 for a four pack its worth it!) Wow, I have been missing out - and if you do not go there, you have been missing out as well! Can it be a little disorganizes at times? sure. people rummage, and look, and scrounge since they do not have a full size and color run of every good. Was treated like a criminal by 3 white women 3/7/2020 for trying to return an item with the tag off. I bought these jeans 3 days ago! I still have the receipt. For the first time in my life, I was offered store credit while having my receipt. They told me I would have to go all the way to the store where I purchased the jeans originally. I was mildly impressed with the selection of house goods and kitchen gadgets. I finally found a tea infuser for just $3.99 after almost being conned at Cardullo's for a $12 one. However, the clothing left a lot to be desired for me and my female shopping buddy. Like the Filene's Basement above it, there seemed to be one section of designer labels, and a lot of filler that surrounded it. However, Marshall's gets three stars because I've come to expect this right before they get a new shipment of designer goodies, and their filler designs are far less pretentious and more affordable than their FB counterparts. read more

This location is pretty crowded, but they have some great deals. Big shoe selection. They also have a baby section with baby books! Most about $6, which is half price or less for nice quality picture books. Also a nice home section. I tried to return a pair that had NEVER been worn outside the store and they refused to take them. They said they looked worn. They were in the exact same condition as when I bought them!
