This is my go to for light jobs around the house. The store is clean and well stocked. I personally have a hard time finding things when I come in, but that's probably more on me than the store. That being said, I always am able to quickly find an associate and every one I find is knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to help! Yesterday around 2 PM.I went to pick up a few items at menards. When I went to check out, only one register was open and there were twenty five people deep and the lime. Not one single member of management. What step in to support very, very disappointing. My recommendation to the store manager, don't repeat this fiasco.Take more pride in your store. I rented a truck and the associate told me that I have to pay $6.00 extra for every 15 minutes late. They did not tell me about a $0.5 per miles. they did not mention that to me. I read the contract and it was there with no amount specified. So I was glad they charged me $0.5/miles. According to the agreement they could have charged me $5/mile or even more. There was also $5 Saturday surcharge which is also written in the agreement. Anyway , I came 22 minutes late, the associate was dealing with other costumer. I waited 10 minutes until it was my turn. So I was 32 minutes late and they charged me an extra 15 minutes. The manager came to resolve the problem. She was very aggressive and unpolite at all. Therefore I decided never to go to that store again because maybe I will pay double the price in hidden cost and treated in a bad manner. read more

The store manager and the building materials manager are condescending and unwilling to budge to make concessions with order issues. The manager also refuses to provide contact information for district management. There's a reason that Menards doesn't allow customer reviews for their products: Most of them are subpar quality compared to the brands that other big box home improvement stores carry. The wait times at their returns counter are grueling and cumbersome. Their receipt lookup kiosk is annoying. Why can't they just look up your transaction with your credit card like Lowes and Home Depot do!? The cashiers are the only consistently competent and pleasant employees. Their garden center plants are always half dead. The only dept that is unique compared to other stores is their large assortment of trim, but you have to go through them piece-by-piece to find the straight ones without imperfections. I used to be a hardcore Menards advocate, but my recent experiences have shown a decline in service and quality. I only go here now when other stores don't carry what I need. I'm very disappointed that this location has gone downhill. read more

Bigger an cleaner then the one I use to work at. Staff was friendlier then most stores. The layout of the store isn't that different from the Taylor Michigan location, everything was mirrored on to the opposite side. I mostly came here for soda pop and sparkling water since Ohio doesn't do a 10 cent deposit like Michigan. Honestly this store make the the Taylor location look bad. read more

Awesomeness abounds at our new Menards. Menards is a mix of other home improvement stores with a little pet and grocery thrown in. They are set above the others by their lighting department which truly has to be seen to appreciate. Thus one just opened so I got my free tiny American flag, yardstick, and scanned my mailer which declares everyone a winner. I won two dollars of store credit on my next purchase. Which will actually be my first purchase since I just wanted to look around today. read more

I like the store because of the huge selection and people that asks if you need help with anything. I would recommend the store to everyone.

First visit, although I didn't enter the store. I ordered and paid for bags of mulch online, and went into the garden center to ask the associate how to get help with loading. She said to drive around to the back and they would get it done. I drove around and there was an entry to the lumber yard/order pick up area. I had to scan my receipt bar code to enter, and saw some pick up parking spots with a phone #. I called and was told to go to the mulch area. I drove over but didn't see an obvious place, so I stopped by the mulch and called again. The same associate said he would call someone to help me. A guy on a forklift came over and got it loaded. Rockstar Kevin was able to fit 25 bags of mulch into my car (I already had the back seat down) and was awesome! Now I know where and how to get a mulch pick up for next year! read more

On July 6, 2025 I placed an order at the Morse Rd. store for several items including some vinyl flooring that needed cutting. A couple of the items were on sale. The next morning I got a call that their vinyl cutting machine was down so the order was on hold. I needed the flooring for a job so I called this store to make sure I could get it done that day. They said yes. When I went to place the order the items were no longer on sale. Both stores said there was no way to transfer the order over but this store said if I brought my receipt in within 14 days they would adjust the price. I went ahead a placed the order even though my contractor had to drive across town and wait for it to be ready. He got the order and completed the job. Today, within the 14 day period, I drove to this store with all my documentation in order to get the price adjustment. The lady at the register couldn't figure out how to do the adjustment for the cut vinyl so she called for help. That person called the manager who said we don't do price adjustments this way. I explained the situation and someone for the stored told me they would. He said no again and would not do the adjustment. They are a very helpful and willing to lie to get your business. Once they get your money you are no longer important to them. I've never had an issue like this and Lowe's or Home Depot. read more

This store is absolutely wonderful and I'm so thankful we have one in town. I always loved going to their store, but the other location was pretty far. This store has it all when it comes to fixing up your house to renovation purposes. My wife and I got a over the sink water purifier from here in August and we love it. I ordered paver bricks online thinking the process would be easy. The joke was on me. I couldn't find the pickup location so I went in to ask a member of the staff. That was a ridiculous task in itself because no one knew what I was talking about. Once I had drove around the entire building I found the entrance to customer pickup. Drove in and parked in the designated parking spot and called the phone number listed on the sign. No answer. I walked into the entrance and stood at a desk until someone finally arrived. The employee was rude and seemed annoyed that I was there. He scanned the receipt on my phone, handed me a piece of paper and had me drove around the side of the building WHERE I HAD STARTED IN THE BEGINNING. The very worst part is that I had to load the truck myself with 60 paver blocks because the employee said "ITS NOT LIKE I CAN HELP WE ARE SHORT STAFFED". He also told me he can't predict when they wont have enough employees. Needless to say it took me a while to get the paver blocks loaded because there were no carts in Customer Pickup so I had to carry the bricks one at a time to my truck. I will not be shopping at Menards again. read more

I went in looking for a truck tool box. I had already researched it on the web site and it was in store. I ask an employee where I could find this tool box. He promptly stated "We don't carry that here" I said but it states right here you have to in store. He became very defensive and insisted there were none there. I moved on..found a another employee and showed here the page from the web site. She immediately located the tool box I wanted, opened it from the packaging allowing me to inspect it. It resulted in a sale! The first employee I approached needs remedial social interaction training on how not to be a dick.. and then needs to learn his stores inventory and how to use electronics. read more

The staff is nice, but not always available. Had to wait 20 minutes to return something, because a manager was "with a guest," but when the manager finally showed up, I recognized her as someone who had just been hanging out at a counter near the exit chatting with other personnel and snacking on something when I'd initially gone in that way to ask where the returns desk was. But that's the good part. The bad part was the product I bought, namely a Commander® 32"W x 80"H Primed Steel Flush Exterior Door System - Right Inswing Model Number: 4141020. This is the absolute worst POS product I've ever put my hands on, and getting it ready for installation was the worst DIY carpentry experience of my so far long life (I'm in my mid-60's). Many of the hinge mounting holes weren't positioned correctly, some of the hinge mounting screws were in at crazy angles, two of the hinges were bent, 16 of the 24 hinge mounting screws had stripped heads, one of the mortises wasn't cut deep enough, and had to be chiseled by hand to make the door fit the frame squarely. The person who assembled this door was incompetent and possibly ill tempered. How Menard's can let such a POS get past inspection is impossible to imagine. I should have brought it back, but that's very difficult with just my car for transport, and each individual problem seemed like it couldn't get worse, until it did, but by then. I'd already modified the damned thing. Will never shop at this store again. read more

I ordered a door online from Menards on 2/12/2023. (Not a custom door mind you) but a black Larsen full view door. It was paid for in full. It was to be delivered to the store in my town on 2/21/2023. Circumstances beyond my control, Menards had me cancel the item on February 14th, which I did immediately. I sent a email to where they told me too, Larsen, they responded back by saying " we can not cancel the order, as its Menards policy. "Call them and they will call us". Why that makes a difference is beyond me, but nonetheless, I called the store and asked to speak to someone in doors, they got a sales associate named Dustin on the phone, Very courteous and was willing to help. I called the store back and was told there would be a restocking fee. Apparently Larsen told them its enroute. Said delivered on 2/21/2023, its 2/14/2023 that I called to cancel. I asked for the reason that the restocking fee is charged when I'm sure it hadn't ' made it to the store yet, and isn't it good customer service to try to accommodate the customer? I know I know, whats customer service you say? WHen it was 2 days and online this order was placed and cancelled? I've done alot of business with Menards in the past, as I bought a condo here and had to do some reno to it. That will be the LAST time I step foot in the store. Trust and believe, that will happen. There is NO sense in them charging me for a restocking fee when there sign says in the front "we MAY charge a restocking fee, C'mon Menards there is too much competition out there, Lowes and Home Depot for you to treat customers like this, Do BETTER!!!!!! read more

I purchased a Generac Water Pump. Got it home and it is defective. Pumps very little, the shut off button does not work. Poor Quality. Attempted to return, had it one day. Menards policy which is not posted is if you used it, they will not take it back. You must find a service center to attempt a repair. What? How would you know it is defective unless you tried it? First employee wrote it up to return but needed 2nd employee to over ride it. 2nd employee agrees to over ride but could not get it to go through. Then told me they cannot take it back because I opened it and used it. Was there for 20 min waiting for a refund then was told they couldn't. Rude employee #2.
