I was pleasantly AMAZED that they would go to all that trouble for me. It was my first time in the store and I was going to buy a $5.00 screwdriver. These guys were incredibly helpful and generous with their time. They have earned a customer for life!

Mom and pop type of store and until recently I didn't even know that there are multiple stores in the greater Columbus area. I really like their customer service. We go to this store for small items (screw, nuts, etc) to large ticket items (e.g., a Weber grill) and we've always been pleased with the quality and the customer service. Plus the wait is a lot less than at a Lowe's or Home Depot.

This place was around way before Home Depot, Lowe's etc. When you walk in the door you notice the customer service desk that sits above the ground like a look out tower. There are always people in there to help you find what you need and will call out to certain areas for further assistance. I remember coming here as a child with my parents as this was the place to go to get all your hardware needs. They carry a little of this and a little of that and their prices are a bit higher here but sometimes it's worth it to pay a littler more for something that you need right away but can't get it anywhere else in town. If you are in Ohio and are near Westerville or Dublin you should stop by and visit. This is one of those cool places you should visit before leaving town.

This time I was here for a sump pump battery, which was the same price here as I saw it elsewhere online. Plus I got some of their clearance items for outrageously good prices. It's not a big box store, so prices and selection are not going to be the same as one of those places. But it's bigger than it looks, and they have quite a good selection of all sorts of things. Plus some unusual things you didn't think you would need for home repairs. And prices are reasonable, maybe slightly higher than rock-bottom but not awful. It's one of those old-school hardware stores where they can answer questions and help with a project. Service has always been very good and very friendly. I highly recommend it if you live anywhere nearby.

(Delaware, Ohio store) It has been my go to place for various purchases and primarily the purchase and delivery of Pool Salt for years. I did not have a problem until this year. It was a very unpleasant experience that I will never go through again because they have lost my business forever. I am sure it was a misunderstanding that could have been cleared up if there had been better communication and less attitude of rudeness and not caring about the customer. I have orderEd pool salt and had it delivered to my home for years. The delivery was always on time and everyone was polite and nice. I have always requested that the salt be placed near our pool. It never seemed to be a problem. I appreciated it very much. These are 40 lb bags of salt and it was a bonus to have them near where they would be used. (Thank you for those years past.) This year the delivery was late. Ok. But I didnt know it would be two days late until I checked. No apology for inconvenience. When it was delivered the very rude man placed it in the driveway and said it wasn't his job to move it anywhere else and he wasn't going to do it. On the order I had asked for placement by pool as I always had. I admit that I lost my cool and in response to his attitude i was rude. He later reported to his boss that I called him names. I NEVER called him names. I was upset about the situation. My husband and I are 80 years old and he has health problems. There seems to be no respect for senior citizens who has been customers for many years. He finally, grudgingly moved the salt around to the pool. Basically said, yeah, old woman, are you happy now. You got your way. I said thank you for doing it and he said "I didn't do it for you." I called ACE. Did not speak to the manager as I requested, but thought the assistant manager would be of assistance. He said they only move items to driveway now and do not go into house, or fenced areas because of liability. They only did that in years past as a courtesy. I guess courtesy is no more. It would have been nice if they had made it clear when I placed the order. Also, he was impolite and rude to me and said that he wouldn't tolerate calling employees names , which IDID NOT do. Obviously he was waiting to light into me. And wasn't interested in hearing what I had to say. Rudeness seems to be the thing at this store. I told him I would never shop there again and he said "is there anything else we can do for you." No apology nor how can we make it right. Never shopping there again.
