    Staff is not friendly for it to be a neighborhood hardware store. I was in there today no one greeted or tried to help me.

I took the attached piece of drywall paper colored to the wall paint I wanted to match to the Paint Department at Home Depot. Enter Anne who was working that evening. She took my sample and perfectly matched a new gallon of paint to my 30 year old walls!! I thought I would need to repaint this entire section but all I did was touch up where I had patched. Some foreign person waswas speaking to me, who was rude and barely speaking English. He tried to over talk me about my bill, which was only $275.00. I had already sent 130. I asked for the late fee to be removed. He said he could not do it. Asked for someone who spoke better English. They were no help, I went on and paid the -balance. Told them I was done with Home Depot, they have no loyalty to their customers, and that i do not need them need them. Will be shredding the card, and if they want, within 6 months, close the card. I will pay cash. DONE WITH HOME DEPOT!!!!

I didn't deal with any staff during my quick visit so can't speak to service. All in all just fine. The few negatives for me have to do with getting there, and that doesn't impact how good the actual business is. There's a lot of construction at 70 and Brice, and then it's not real clear where to turn into Lowe's. There are several entrances, but they are not marked, and you can't really see Lowe's because there are buildings in front of it. You can just see the big sign by the road, so you know the general location. So be careful, and really just turn in at the stoplight or any entrance off Brice/Gender and thread your way back.

When I brought this to the cashier's attention, Sam refused to honor the displayed pricing and began removing the price stickers, preventing us from purchasing the items. She stated the pricing wouldn't be honored because we didn't bring the item up ourselves--which makes no sense given we had just located it. When we escalated the issue, the supervisor, Selena, was dismissive and unprofessional--rolling her eyes, snickering, and acting as if we were inconveniencing her. She also spoke over another team member who was trying to assist, clearly more interested in arguing than resolving the issue. To make matters worse, when we informed them we would be reporting the experience, both Sam and Selena made comments under their breath about not caring. This behavior is completely unacceptable and not a good representation of Lowe's customer service standards.

Pulled the available ticket and proceed to the register. The man at the register says he will have to check if they have it in stock. To my surprise when he came back, he did not have a fan and said the only one they had was the one that we didn't want! He offered to call another store located about 10 miles away but we didn't feel like driving all that way so we asked him if you could order the one we wanted. He said he could not order it because it was not a specialty item. I'm not sure what that means but we left without our fan. I don't think you should have pieces of paper able to pull a ticket for a product if you don't have it in stock and also why can't you order me a fan? Aren't I a customer? As we left the store I noticed the parking lot full of garbage where a different people had emptied their cars out. There was glass trash, McDonald's wrappers just everywhere in the parking lot. It made the whole place look very junked up. Needless to say we be buying our industrial size fan on Amazon and people wonder why people shop on Amazon? Can't get anything you want in the stores.

August 1, 2025, I'm coming in to purchase a new garage door and opener. I could have gone to Menards or Home Depot, but I normally leave Lowe's confident because unlike the others mentioned, I get assistance. I go to my area and there is no one in or around that aisle. I see a staff member walking by and ask if he could page someone back to the garage door area. While I'm waiting I hear staff members being paged to other areas. Ok they are busy today. I continue to wait. I know what door we want but let me I find out which opener will work for us. They had two brands with three models for each. I'm looking up the power of the doors and the other features, WiFi, back up battery, keypads. I'm getting excited because my garage door opener hasn't worked in years. I continue to hear more pages overhead, but I understand that people get busy and sometimes you have call offs. I'm still gung ho that my front door will no longer be the main source of entry and shoes can be removed at the garage door. I look at my watch and realize that I've been waiting for 35 minutes. My excitement and confidence turns into annoyance. So bad that I start talking to myself. "Are telling me, I'm trying to make a big purchase and I need my husband to be taken seriously." I was on fumes!!!! I left my cart in the aisle and started walking to my car. I was pissed so my pace was fast, but on my way out the door I saw the manager's picture and telephone number so I stopped and took a picture. Oh they were going to hear from me! I got my picture and started for my car, again at a fast pace because I am boiling. I get to my car and I hear someone ask me, "Ma'am is everything okay? Did you get what you needed?" I am mad and then I'm a single woman in the parking lot, so my defense grew. Trying to increase the distance between us while trying to understand him, I know my facial expression was crazy, but he continued to defuse me. Once I focused on his face, realized that he was the young man in the picture I just took. I went from feeling ignored and not being seen to be extremely valued. He didn't have to show that much initiative. He cared like this was his personal business and his reputation was on the line. I've been in customer service all of my life. Starting as a newspaper carrier to now being a nurse. Customer service isn't what it used to be. That managers name is Yves Fortune and yes I'm posting his picture so that there is no mistake of who he is. Needless to say that he defused me and I returned and made my purchase. Robert Schobert, who was on his lunch break, took over from the young man who was trying to answer my questions. Robert was very knowledgeable and helped me to make wise decisions on my purchases. I walked out feeling as confident and happy as I initially did when I first entered the building. Thank you so much guys.

I picked it up after work and arrived at 6:06 pm. Young man approached the car and apologized at around 6:15, indicating he was helping another customer. He directed me to drive down by garden center and he'd be right there. He came about 6:25 and was unsure of what I was getting, but told me he'd be right back. As I continued to sit in the car -- and it was HOT b/c air conditioning doesn't cool well - I get a text saying "thanks for picking up your items". I was pissed at this point b/c you can stop to make sure your stats are within a certain time frame from my arrival to departure, but not actually get customers their stuff. Finally, he came back and it was now 6:30 pm and he notifies me that I should pull over to the mulch supply area and someone would help. THEN WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME TO DO THAT 30 MINUTES AGO?!! But, of course, no one was there and he had to get them from inside. At 6:40, a guy comes WITH MY ORDER IN HAND and asks "now, what did you want" I simply said what I purchased on the sheet u have in your hand. He then walks up and starts talking to his coworker WHO HAD BEEN STANDING THERE WATERING F$&@ PLANTS THE ENTIRE TIME. They finally threw my 20 bags of mulch (haphazardly) in my SUV and looked dumbfounded when I asked how to fit the topsoil. I just left and will request a refund for the topsoil because I refuse to do that madness again EVER!!! I pulled out at 6:55 pm. Remember, I preordered and paid for the items!! I watched a couple just pull up and load about 50 bags of mulch in their vehicle and I thought...they didn't even check in or anything. Now, I understand

    I was in the Gender Road Store and bought trim that I only needed 3 - 80" pieces but instead of…read moremaking 2 cuts I made 1 in the middle getting 2 - 7 footers since they sell them by the foot. I grabbed another piece that someone had already cut 80" out of it and I've done it before and have always been charged for a 7 footer not 88"..... I let the long gray haired lady know and she said I'm always up here and that doesn't happen basically calling me a liar. I took the piece back to the saw and cut off the unnecessary 4". I brought it back up and was treated like I was trying to steel a 4" piece of wood. As a contractor I've bought thousands of dollars of materials every month from Home Depot. I can't believe I was treated like a thief of a precut board that was already cut. I guess I wouldn't be as angry but in the past years I have literally watch people walk out with arms full of tools and they do nothing about it.... Trust me if I had the time I would have taken all of them back and cut them to the 80" and only paid for 80" that I needed. When I came back up to the register I threw the 4" piece of wood in the trash and they literally got it out like they were going to sell it. I mainly shop at Grove city which in my opinion is a 5 star store. I have never been treated so poorly and especially treated like a thief over 4 inches of wood that was already cut to this size by another customer. I at least cut the 14' pieces in half to keep things simple. This woman says she's been there for 20 years.... well I think it's time for her to go...

Having just moved to an outdated home in Worthington - installing hardwood floors was a priority. We had 3 different types on flooring on our first level (thick tile, carpet, laminate). It would have been a nightmare had we tried to demo ourselves - but Vlad and his team made it look easy! His team was very courteous and answered all of our questions throughout the process.
