The room looks so bright and clean now, the new fixtures work beautifully, and cleaning takes almost no time at all. Plus, we now have stylish grab bars, a non-slip shower pan, and a larger drain that won't get clogged with hair. Michelle suggested removing some wall tile to extend the new Onyx wall slabs in the shower enclosure to the door molding, and we are really pleased with the result. The 3-person installation crew, led by Kevin, got the whole job -- including replacing two toilets -- done in 8 hours. They showed up on time, were very pleasant, and they cleaned up after themselves. There were a few minor issues after the job was done, and Michelle sent Matt over. He made everything perfect, and he was just as nice as the rest of the crew. Columbus Bath Design gave us a fair price. They are one of the best contractors we've had in the 24 years we've lived in this old house.

There were ton's of scenarios to choose from and even more counter and vanity samples. As for the actual work on the job, CBD had some of the most able and professional craftsmen that I've run across. These guys were on time, worked diligently, contained demo dust and debris very well and took a lot of pride in how they installed the new product. That last part was very important to me. Not one of them treated the remodel like it was mine....It was more like they were doing the work in their own homes. It was flawless. During the project, they asked me my preference as to locations of towel and TP bars and soap caddies in the shower and bath and the direction of the floor being laid. Contract was written "all hardware added/replaced" Owner said "hinges are not hardware" Find another contractor!

Between Bath Tune Up and their subcontractors, I had 5 different contacts I worked with and scheduled separate appointments with- each of whom told me different things. None of them seemed aware of discussions that I'd already had with the others. Multiple times they either didn't show up for appointments or canceled last minute (especially frustrating when I had taken time off work to be home for the appointment). To their credit, early in the process they identified a leak in the side of our house that we needed to fix immediately. Bath Tune Up paused their work and was very patient while I got the leak fixed. After 10 days I notified them that the leak was fixed and the bathroom work could continue. It took them 9 weeks after that to finish the work. Also to their credit, multiple times when I complained about the quality of the work they did send someone out to see and then later come out to fix the work. However- this required a ton of time and management from me. I'd rather they did it right the first time.
