Came on a Friday afternoon, and there weren't too many people. I like the outdoor and indoor seating options, and the interior of the cafe is really cute! I got the Matcha Einspanner, and it was pretty good. It tasted a bit grainy I will say. When I mixed the cream top with the matcha, the flavor was better, but I wouldn't say it's the best matcha I've had before. I would try one of their other drinks if I'm ever in the area again!
I really enjoyed the vibe of this cafe, really cute. The tiramisu donut I got was good and I liked the filling inside of it. The dusting of the top was a little messy but it was to be expected. The matcha here was good too. I liked the foam on top which paired well with it.
This Memorylook cafe is the original location, located in Koreatown. The ambience is modern and minimalist. I love that they have free Tesla charging and free Parking with its own large parking lot, which is like finding gold in busy K town! I got the iced Vienna Einspanner and it was solid stumptown coffee. I loved it. I also got the kimchi fried rice wrap and it was delicious and filling : enough for two meals. This is a good place to work, study and to catch up with friends. There's also a bathroom inside. There's ample seating both inside and outside. All in all, I was very happy with the experience and service was good!
Came here cause I had been here before and liked it, wanted to come back. The space is updated, they also sell eyewear! They also have a photobooth I'd say I'm a matcha connoisseur.. I make my own matcha at home for 2.5 years and go to specialty matcha cafes and can judge a great matcha from a bad one... So I was very disappointed with the matcha here :/ I ordered a matcha latte oat milk.. It was so grainy..gritty..and omg so bitter....acidic as well? the drink came out so quick before I was even done paying!!!!!! So I assume it was premade...and thats why it tasted so bad...? Maybe everyone is getting it with the cream so they don't taste the bitterness and the horrible texture Either way..I was very disappointed..i literally tossed the whole thing. I do not recommend. Maybe their coffees are better ? or they are trying to just sell eyeware? idk.
My friend and I wanted to check out memory look for good coffee and a chance to get pictures at their photo booth! I got their Vanilla Einspanner Latte and friend got their Caramel Einspanner Latte. Both were great but the caramel was much better in my opinion! Also we got hungry but didn't want to eat a whole meal so we split their breakfast wrap and we're pleasantly surprised at how good it was! They also sell glasses at the shop and they were all so cute!!
After dinner last night, we were discussing where to go for a second round, and one of my friends recommended this place. So we decided to come here for coffee or tea and ended up having a really nice time. I used to come here quite often about four years ago. Back then, I really liked their Einspänner and ordered it several times. But the last time I came, I thought it was way too sweet, so I hadn't been back since. It had actually been a REALLY long time since I last visited. And when I used to come here four years ago, I always came in the morning or around lunchtime. Last night was my first time ever coming here at night. My friend told us that they are open until midnight, so that's why we decided to come here after dinner. I had heard that parking here can be a nightmare because there aren't enough parking spaces and people have a hard time finding a spot. But once again, my parking luck was AMAZING! A car pulled out right in front of me just as I arrived, so I was able to park very easily. Another friend arrived later than I did, and she said she couldn't find a parking spot at all. She drove around for quite a while looking for one before finally finding street parking. Last night, we also had some tiramisu, and since I'm pretty sensitive to caffeine, I decided to have a caffeine-free ade instead of coffee or tea. It was a little sweet for my taste, but it was ok. We sat outside on the outdoor patio and talked and talked and talked. We had such a fun time together! However, it was actually pretty cold outside last night. I remember thinking that it felt surprisingly chilly. But what was even crazier was how FREEZING cold it was inside the café! They had the air conditioning turned up so high that both my friends and I felt like we were going to freeze to death. The restroom is inside, and I also went inside to get some water, so I mentioned to one of the male employees that it was freezing inside. He told me that they didn't feel cold at all because they were working, and that THEY were actually feeling really hot. I went back to our table and told my friends what he had said, and they were like, "WHAT?! We're freezing to death over here!" The parking lot here is actually pretty large, so I was wondering why it was so difficult to find a parking spot. Apparently, at night, the left side is the café, while on the right side there is a bar where people can drink and also play games. There was a huge line of people waiting outside the bar last night, so I'm guessing that's probably why the parking lot gets so crowded and it's hard to find a spot. It was also pretty chilly outside last night because of the low temperature, so one thing I wished they had on the outdoor patio was heaters. That would have made sitting outside much more comfortable on a cold night.
We were looking for a place with good iced coffee and enough room to spread out and get some work done. Yelp led us to MEMORYLOOK in K-Town, and it ended up being exactly what we wanted. The pictures don't lie. It's got that clean, modern coffee shop aesthetic, but a few quirky touches keep it from feeling like every other minimalist café. There's a photo booth in the back (which I assume explains the name) and a display of sunglasses that I never quite figured out. Also, no bathroom code. Always appreciated. Neither of us usually orders einspanners, but my wife got the vanilla and I ordered the mocha, both iced with oat milk. They were excellent. Creamy and rich and the coffee underneath was tasty even before mixing in the cream. The pastries looked beautiful and artful, although I was hoping for something simple like an almond croissant. The vibe outside on the patio was great. Lots of people working on laptops, plenty of room to settle in, and it felt more like a co-working space than a typical coffee shop. It's also super dog-friendly, has ample parking in its own lot and we even found easy street parking out front. Everything about this place just worked. We'll gladly make the 25-minute drive again.
I am so disappointed... Memorylook used to be good, but what they served me today was honestly an embarrassment. I ordered a matcha einspanner with oat milk (free, yay), but what I received was an incredibly grainy drink with low quality matcha. I have had this drink multiple times over the years (over delivery too, so I totally expected quality to be better when ordering in person), and I did notice the quality dropping with each order, but I would chalk it up to delivery taking a while. After today's visit, however, I've come to the conclusion that the quality has just dropped significantly, and it's not worth coming here to try their matcha. If you're just looking for a nice space to chill or get some work done, however, this might be the place for you - it seems like a cool place with a bit of seating, plus a photobooth in the back. Service is also fine. Since I only see myself coming for the matcha, I won't be coming back. There are countless better options in K-Town, many of which are just down the street. Adios Memorylook
Happened to be in the area and was so glad we found this spot while ins watch for some good coffee! First impressions, cute spot that was clean. You can't beat a giant lot with free parking in the middle of LA AND they had outdoor seating?! Obsessed. We came around 10:30 on a Sunday morning and was surprised to be one of the few people there. Got some einspanners which were delish. The strawberry donut was the perfect treat to share and omg....the wraps!! When coffee shops have food to order...that's perfection in my book. I had to try the kimchi fried rice wrap and it was definitely a delicious treat. We got the breakfast sausage wrap for the kids and it was just absolutely delish. No plain Jane wraps over here. Very pleasantly surprised and would highly recommend this spot!

When I first walked in, the space was much larger than I expected. They sell a variety of drinks, a few pastries, and even glasses, which I also wasn't expecting. The matcha they serve here is Korean matcha rather than Japanese matcha, so the taste is quite different. I still enjoyed the drink, even though it wasn't the flavor I'm normally used to. The workers were really nice, and our drinks and donut came out pretty soon after we ordered.
Great matcha and coffee! It's a cute location in ktown, with a parking lot. Which if you live here, you know that's RARE! Service is great, there's a lot of seating but more of the time it's full so you may have to wait a little bit for something to open up. A lot of people like to work and study here, so keep that in mind! Other than that, it's a great location and will definitely be back.
I came around 5 pm on a Wednesday and was able to find a seat inside without issue. Parking:5/5 Easy free lot parking out back Ordered : Matcha einspanner 4/5: this was delish, it tasted more of a dessert rather than a matcha bevy. The cream top works nicely with the matcha, the matcha flavor is pretty light Blood Orangeade 1/5: this was honestly not my fav. I didn't end up finishing it, it tasted like syrup+sparkling water. The drinks weren't spectacular, but given the easy parking and tables, I'd prob come back to study
This place is a win for me for two reasons: 1) a cafe with both spacious indoor and outdoor seatings in an otherwise very busy neighborhood of LA, 2) their equally spacious and own (!) parking lot Koreatown can be stressful to navigate, even for those who live in LA. The limited parking spaces and cramped cafes can add to the stress. So this cafe was a respite and almost felt I wasn't in Koreatown. What we ordered: Matcha Einspanner ($8) - matcha latte with their signature cream top. As those have shared, this is really good. They sweeten it of course, but the ceremonial grade matcha still shines through Chrome Latte ($7.5) - charcoal latte with double shot espresso sweetened with agave. It was all right. The coffee doesn't come through strongly. The charcoal is interesting. Americano ($6) - Two shots of Stumptown espresso for $6 is a no thank you. read more

One of the best matchas we've ever had - high-quality, creamy, and not too sweet. We visited Sunday morning around 10:30am and luckily, there wasn't a line when we arrived. There is ample FREE parking as well as EV chargers. We also ordered the Kimchi Fried Rice and Spicy Korean Bulgogi wraps. The wraps were fine - I'd rate them 3.5/4 out of 5. The external and internal ambiance definitely embodies modern minimalist aesthetic. read more

Drinks- 5 Service- 4 Space- 0 So conflicted about this place. High points would be: very spacious, has an actual parking lot, and the drinks are incredible. I got the matcha einspanner and my friend the ginger latte. Flavors are so good and very prominent. Low point: how freaking disgustingly dirty this place is. The walls, floors, ceiling, everything is covered in dirt or dust. Truly so upsetting to watch a food container get dropped on the horrifying floor just to be picked up again for use. I really should give it a 2 or 1 for that alone but the drinks were so good. I don't know, come at you're own risk read more
Memorylook is a cute little coffee/matcha shop in the area. Memorylook has been on my radar for quite some time. While my outing in LA we stumbled upon it. It was a Saturday around 1pm when we arrived. There was a long line but it went by pretty quick. I got a seasonal Haru Matcha which is a limited ceremonial matcha with a floral butterfly pea flower cream top. It was very good and enjoyable. The person I came with got their popular matcha Einspanner latte which they liked. We also shared their creme burlee cream filled donut. It was good but I wish it wasn't so cold. They also had other cream filled donut flavors. Besides matcha and donuts, they also had other caffeinated drinks. For a limited time they also had a haru cloud einspanner and a blue moon espresso tonic. I want to come back and try their matcha with a strawberry foam. The staff was pretty nice and answered all our questions. The drinks also came out pretty quick even though it was so busy. The inside is fairly large with some tables and chairs. They have a huge patio outside as well. There is a lot located in the back but it does fill up then you gotta park on the street. I like that Memorylook as a photobooth inside and sell sunnies as well. It's worth checking out. read more

Cute cafe in K-town with nice large outdoor patio with lots of seating. It was packed and apparently went viral on TikTok. I ordered the Einspanner Latte, the presentation of it was very pretty and it tasted great. However, prices are pretty high. My coffee was $8 and I've heard their donuts are very good, but when I saw it was $8 for such a small donut I couldn't justify it. Their known for their Matcha but I didn't try it, so maybe that's what brings all the hype! I'd say it's a nice spot to grab coffee and chat with a friend on a sunny day with the outdoor area. read more

This was an interesting find to be held in Los Angeles, while the ambiance inside seemed cold, it would have been a good place to do some crunch-time studying if you found a spot to sit. The inside included a Photo Booth and various sunglasses that were a part of their services. We came for the drinks but the cafe also had different baked goods that looked SO YUMMY I wish I were hungry enough to have ordered them. My drink, the cocoa matcha forest alone is enough to compel me to return. The drink was sweet, creamy, and chocolatey. I wish I got a size up; I'm pretty sure I finished the drink in 6 minutes. Its flavor profile was reminiscent to Cocoa Puffs. My friends who tend to stay away from matcha tried it and said they liked it! Those who were with me got the einspanner and strawberry matcha which both got positive reviews of being refreshing and creamy. Just what we needed before our adventure in LA. Of course we had to stop in for the Photo Booth which had a bit of a line, but for $10 was so worth it. Two of my friends even bought some of the glasses offered in the store. MATCHA EINSPANNER 5/10: I have seen people post Memorylook's matcha all over social media and I was really excited to try it but unfortunately it wasn't for me. :( I found that the matcha latte itself was grainy in a sense where you could feel a powdery texture after drinking it. The cold foam is good, but compared to other places I've been to, the latte falls short. NOTES-- - The cafe is really open and cute, lots of natural light, and there is seating outside. - Lots of parking available! - There have been a few times where the lines have been extremely long so a good wait time! read more

Perfect place for Koreatown cafe.Best part is plenty of free parking spaces and plenty outdoor seating.They also have indoor seating.Everyones drink was made to taste and did not disappoint.Had a hot matcha tea and request your drink if you prefer extra hotter.They ran out of the crème brûlée donut.Had the strawberry and I enjoyed.Busy but still perfect for group. read more

They have a cool patio with tables and benches to hangout, study or work. great variety in coffee, matcha, and pastries. Black building on the corner of S Kenmore Ave and W Olympic Blvd, signage is very small you might miss it. Decent private parking lot in rear (free parking), entrance is on Kenmore Ave. They have indoor seating and a small outdoor patio. Seems like a great spot to study, work from café or coffee date. Wasn't too busy on a Monday morning. They have food and a handful of donut options. Matcha Latte -solid matcha drink. Matcha Einspanner -cream top isn't the best I've had. It's really just heavy whipping cream with nothing added into it. Hojicha Einspanner -solid Hojicha. Cream top completely stirred in adds extra creaminess. Quick and friendly service, there was a line on a Saturday afternoon but it moved quickly. Place looked clean and plenty of parking. I enjoyed my Matcha Einspanner and my sister enjoyed her latte. The creme brulee donuts were actually really good and not overly sweet despite the look! I recommend keeping it out at room temp for at least an hour so it's not too cold. read more
First time visit today and was not disappointed. We ordered the following... Vanilla Einspanner Latte: Very good Chrome Latte: Excellent Went early in the morning and no one was in line, so we got our coffees quickly. As the store was fairly empty, we were able to enjoy the peace and quiet both indoors and outdoors. Located on the corner of Olympic and Kenmore, I over shot the parking lot entrance on Kenmore. I ended up parking on Olympic Blvd which was filthy with trash. I recommend parking in their private lot. read more

I was in the area and decided to try out Memorylook since I had it bookmarked for a while! Memorylook is one of the few cafes in ktown that have their own spacious parking lot and it's opened until midnight on the weekends. I went on Saturday night and it wasn't too packed and the line was not too bad. They have a variety of coffee, teas, and food but they're mostly known for their einspanner. The interior is very clean, modern, and spacious. There's indoor and outdoor seating so it wasn't too hard for us to find seating because they weren't too busy. I was looking forward to trying their pastries but unfortunately they were all sold out so I was slightly disappointed. Probably needed to come earlier if I wanted to try their pastries. We ended up getting the hojicha einspanner and it was really good and so creamy! Even though it was really creamy, the hojicha is still prominent in the drink and was perfectly balanced with the right amount of sweetness. If I happen to be in the area again, I'd definitely love to explore more of their menu and hope they have their pastries this time. read more

Pretty decent drinks, free parking, & plenty of seating! The free parking lot is elite!!! Throw in a pair of glasses and you're good to go to work! Drink price averages $6-10 before alternative milks and add ons. They also have food options which I was curious about, but didn't get a chance this time. Service was average, we were waiting for a bit to order with no greeting or communication from the staff. Not super friendly, but maybe it was an off day. However, drinks came out pretty quickly after ordering. They've got a minimalistic, modern style going on. Good place to stop by for studying or doing some work if you're in ktown. read more

we both got the matcha einspanner with oat milk. the latte itself was so good! the matcha was rich and strong but kind of grainy. i think there's too much cream which I know is important to the drink, but i would prefer more latte. the cream is the perfect consistency though. I would definitely come back and try their matcha latte! hopefully the ratio is the same as the latte portion of the einspanner. drinks were ready super quickly. street parking is available! i will say that the storefront is kind of hard to locate if it's your first time so maybe search up a photo first. the cafe also has a good amount of seating and a photobooth. sunglasses and korean donuts are also sold here! read more

Came on a Monday morning around 9am and was able to snag a table. There were a few people in line, but it moved quickly. I ordered the matcha einspanner and a tiramisu donut, which were prepared pretty quickly. I enjoyed my matcha drink, especially with the cream top. The donut I wasn't a huge fan of, but only because I didn't realize it had a cream cheese filling. The texture of the dough was nice and fluffy, so I would be open to trying the other flavors that have different fillings. The space is large and bright, with outlets scattered around. We worked remotely for a little bit, but also enjoyed the on-site photo booth. I'd definitely come back if I'm ever in the area! read more
Solid spot for Einspanners. Unfortunately they were all out of matcha on the day we visited (not sure how this is possible when this is the main item that they serve but maybe it's a sign of how popular they are?). We then settled for the hojicha which was extra creamy and almost like a milkshake - the hojicha flavor was not lost in the creaminess so that was great and it was a fitting drink for a hot day. read more

Memorylook is such a vibe-y Korean café tucked away in LA--it's got a huge outdoor seating area with tables, chairs, couches and umbrellas. Perfect for catching up with friends, doing some solo journaling, or just soaking up some sunshine with your drink. We ordered their matchas, they have quite a good amount of matcha drinks for you matcha lovers. The matcha drinks are super well-balanced and not overly sweet. Everything feels thoughtfully made and aesthetic without trying too hard. FYI, you will wait a good 15-20 minutes here and its worth it! read more
First off, I like that there is both indoor space and outdoor space. The cafe has a very clean minimalist look. There was a line the entire time we were there but it moves fairly quick and the workers prepare drinks quickly as well. I don't drink coffee but I really liked their matcha tonic and green tangerine ade. I ended up ordering multiple drinks while there. I've been wanting to come here and try their drinks but due to distance, it never worked out. However, I was able to find an opportunity last night when I stopped by after a concert. It's really cool that they open late so props to them for that. The space was minimal in decorations and they had a few seating for those wanting to study. I ordered the matcha einspanner. Maybe I came at the wrong time or the workers were tired but my drink wasn't that good? It wasn't gross, but it was certainly underwhelming. I've had much better matcha einspanners in OC. Either way, I'm glad I got to visit so I could check this off my list but this visit was definitely a one-and-done. read more

The place was really nice and the coffee is worth it! There was a parking lot that was close to entrance but it was a bit tight. I got the Vanilla Latte with cold foam which good and the taste of the coffee was real. We also got chocolate matcha and it was a new combination that went well together. Another great place to get matcha! I loved their matcha einspanner, one of their top drinks. There was a bit of a line but it went by pretty fast. The interior is very minimalist with aesthetic mirrors. There is some seating inside as well. I love how there is a designated lot for parking. I will be coming back! read more
Memorylook was one of the first coffee places on my bucket list and it did not disappoint! I'm so glad they had a designated parking lot so I didn't need to worry about street parking. I came late on a Saturday night so there was so line and it was cool to see they had a photobooth right when I walked in. I ordered the matcha and Vienna Einspenner and both were pretty good and not too sweet. I also got a matcha brûlée donut and it was so crunchy and creamy. I couldn't really taste the matcha but it was still good. The ambiance is really clean and has a few seats with people studying, but the place itself isn't too lively (maybe because I came at night). read more

Matcha einspanner 7,5$ ( i like this better because i feel the freshness and sweet flavor matcha) :) and mojica 8$( feel like coffee with little bit smoky smoky taste) it's pretty good , not too sweet. First time here and it's better than it looks. I wanted a place to do work, and their have a huge parking lot and a huge outdoor seating with plenty of seats. There's a couple indoor seatings already. Though they only have one all-gender restroom so the like can be long sometimes. The friend are fabulous! I tried their photos matcha Einspanner and it so good! The cheese foam is good and the matcha powder is premium quality as I had hope it to be. Got to try their coffee espresso is strong and in point too, but I make good espresso at home myself, so I prefer trying their matcha. Overall it's a great palace to get good drinks and seat outdoor getting work done. It can get busy in weekend and after work hour though. read more

Unfortunately, the drinks at coffee shop just weren't my vibe. I didn't enjoy either of the drinks. If you enjoy trying something different, the brown sugar hojicha might be for you. I went on a busy Monday morning and had a long wait, but once I placed the order the workers made our drinks fairly quickly. The shop itself had a good vibe and had plenty of tables outside to just hang out or get some work done. The creme brulee donut was amazing! read more
I fear this had the best iced coffee drink I have ever tasted. Unfortunately for me I'm not a local. Stopped by on Sunday mid afternoon and to my surprise there was no long wait time. Line moved by so efficiently and my coffee was out within 5-7 mins. I always worry about not finding a place to sit but this coffee shop has a large array of seating both indoor/outdoor. The main reason why I wanted to stop by was for their Photo Booth, so I dint have high hopes for the actual coffee. But I was pleasantly surprised and now I even feel a bit guilty for underestimating. I literally can not wait to be back. As for what I ordered: - Einspanner latte 10/10 cream top was perfectly smooth and fluffy not too sweet, paired nicely with the strong espresso making it the perfect balanced latte. It's almost laughable knowing memorylook used to be the most populated cafe for a matcha einspanner. One of the OGs. We've come a long way since then. There exists so many better spots now. I decided to do a revisit just because. Definitely will never be doing second chances again haha. It tasted like nothing, there was no flavor whatsoever. Not even the cream had flavor. No, it is not. Their einspanner signature drinks carry the cream based dollop on top and is not vegan.
