This location was very cool and the ambiance was great . Not too busy or over crowded. Loved being able to see the kitchen and watch the pizzas being made. Mia was our server and she was such a delight to work with. She got our food out very quickly and it was delicious. we have been longtime customers, and she informed us on how to make a specialty pizza into a calzone which we never knew. Enjoyed our dinner and will be back.

Cute place, service was decent if a little slow for not being very busy but I know staffing is always a concern. Food has changed from how it used to be so if you're revisiting from not being there for a few years be aware! Bruschetta no longer comes on a bed of green and the red sauce tastes different from how I remember it. They also no longer do the roasted potato side. We got the bruschetta and meatball hoagies with tater tots instead of the chips, and a couple fountain drinks which came to under $40 before tip. Food overall was good, just different from what I was expecting; the bruschetta could have had less dressing since there are no greens and the hoagies red sauce wasn't quite to my taste but I would order again knowing that. Overall would visit again despite the changes!

Food was great! Restaurant was really clean but not a lot of customers the night we went. I didn't know you could make any pizza into a calzone! That's my new cheat code for sure! Wait staff could have been more attentive seeing how the restaurant was almost empty. Food was good, we haven't been let down by a mellow mushroom yet.

Some colleagues and I met at this restaurant for lunch yesterday. It had been years since we'd seen each other so we decided to schedule a luncheon. We had reservations and were seated right away when we arrived. Our server was professional and patient with us as we waited for a couple more colleagues to arrive before ordering. We took that time to chitchat and get caught up. Once we ordered, our food came out in a timely fashion. We ordered a variety of dishes. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I ordered a chicken hoagie without mayonnaise and as usual I really enjoyed their hoagie. The restaurant was not packed, and the atmosphere was perfect for our catch-up. We had an enjoyable visit.

Ugh - this Mellow Mushroom was such a disaster. I came here with three other friends the night before the City of Oaks Marathon. We wanted a nice carby meal and made a reservation. We were seated quickly and were told it was going to be an hour for pizza which we were fine with. We weren't in a rush and understood that it was busy. We ordered an appetizer in the meantime. We got the spinach artichoke dip which was very good however it only comes with 8 baguette slices. 8 baguette slices is not enough as the dip portion itself is quite big. We ordered more toast points at an extra charge. I get that we're in an inflationary period but charging for extra bread is annoying. We also ordered salads to eat during the wait for our pizza. 30 min pass with no sign of our server or our salads. When we finally flagged our waitress we discovered that they lost our order for salads. The salads ended up coming out AFTER our pizza was served. The pizza itself was pretty good but the experience with our server will keep me from going back to this location. This location only has 2 female restrooms and most of their staff is female. I had to wait 10 minutes for a stall (I was the only one in line) because as it turns out 2 staff members were using their stalls (probably on break which is fine) but on their phones. I was annoyed that I lost time at my dinner needing to use the restroom which was occupied by staff. Get the staff a breakroom so they don't need to hog the restrooms.

Yikes, where do I begin. We placed an order for an appetizer and 2 medium pizzas at 6:20 and received our food (including appetizer) at 8pm. An hour and 40 min to wait for pizza might be ok but for an appetizer is unacceptable. When I finally got my pizza, it was made entirely wrong. I ordered mushrooms and olives on the entire pizza, but they oddly only put it on half, and most of my pizza was cheese. My pizza was very doughy and dry, so I asked for a side of marinara which appeared 40 min later after I finished eating. My friend's pizza toppings were well distributed but she mentioned that other locations definitely taste better. The waitress was unfriendly and seemed to be ignoring us the entire time. 100% would not return, the price I paid for this meal did not reflect the quality of the food or service

Pretzel bites & PBR beer cheese after we already started eating them!

The manager invited me back to try some pizzas since we weren't thrilled with our first visit. I'm happy to say we had a better experience and I appreciate him comping the pizzas. Our waitress, Jill, was super and made sure we had everything we needed. My spouse is not a cheese lover, but does love mushrooms so she got the Holy Shitake pie w/out cheese and the garlic aioli on the side to use it as a dipper. She really liked it a lot! I had the Funky Q Chicken pie that had just the right amount of cheese, chicken, bacon, onions, and BBQ sauce to make me happy. Even tho they were small pies we each had a half of pie leftover for lunch. So big thank you to Jill for the great service and to Brandon for luring us back to try the pizza. It was great!!

    Is their outdoor patio pet-friendly?

My husband and I just went there to get a table and asked for an outside seat because we had our dog with us and they said they dont allow dogs.

When will this location open? Any word of a soft opening?

4/15 is the official opening. They are hosting mock runs/VIP now

The restaurant is nice and dimly lit with plenty of seating, but you will have to find street parking around Glenwood. We were a party of 6 and they pulled together tables to accommodate us. Our server was a little slow but still friendly. For starters we got a Margherita pizza, calamari, the grilled caesar, and they brought us a complimentary bread basket with oil. Everything except the caesar was good. I guess we didn't expect the caesar to taste THAT charred and the lettuce to not be chopped. For main entrees, we ordered lasagna, lobster ravioli, penne alla vodka, and alfredo. The vodka pasta and lasagna were unflavored and disliked among the table. I would not recommend those dishes. The alfredo was okay. The best dish was the lobster ravioli.

"Best Pizza" many years running back when that actually meant something. Now? It feels less like a restaurant and more like a nostalgic reenactment gone very wrong. The menu still reads like a dream--Carolina crust this, atomic sauce that--but ordering has become a real exercise in imagination. Half the ingredients are apparently on a spiritual journey and no longer physically present. You'll ask for sharp cheddar and get a thoughtful pause, followed by, "We don't have sharp cheddar, we might have a Wisconsin sharp cheddar?" --which, to their credit, has the word "cheddar" in it. The staff move with the energy of a group project that everyone forgot was due today. Pizzas emerge... interpretively. You might order a margherita and receive something that captures its essence, emotionally, if not structurally. It's less "wrong order" and more "pizza as a suggestion." A master of creative problem-solving, this cashier has boldly redefined the concept of "making change." Why fumble with buttons and math when you can simply hand over two beers and call it even? It's less of a transaction and more of a surprise gift exchange--one where the rules are unclear and the outcome is mildly concerning. And the wine list--oh, the wine list--is a beautiful historical document. A relic. A time capsule from at least six months ago, when bottles still existed and hope flowed freely. Now, asking for wine feels like asking about a long-lost friend. "We don't have that," they'll say, gazing into the middle distance. Still, there's something oddly annoying about it all. Like walking into a once-revered theater that still clings to its golden-age reputation. The performances feel like echoes rather than art, the lighting flat where it once dazzled, and every scene drags with the weight of trying to live up to a forgotten past. It's not bad enough to be a disaster--just disappointing enough to make you wonder if the hype was ever real or if you're just eating the ghost of someone else's great experience. Cheers!
