We've been wanting to try Glasshouse Kitchen and when we saw they were participating in Triangle Restaurant Week, we seized the opportunity to make a reservation. Everything about our dinner was fantastic. The building itself is stunning, the decor is modern and beautiful, the hostesses were welcoming and our server was lovely and enthusiastic. We ordered from the restaurant week menu which offered the option of two different salads, two different entries and two different desserts. Perfect! The two of us ordered one of everything and shared. Can't wait to come back in the summer to see this place during daylight!

Husband and I visited here for the first time for dinner. We were seated immediately at a table for two. Our server quickly offered water and let us ponder our drink orders while she brought that. I ordered the Glasshouse Devil which was absolute perfection. Husband enjoyed his CC Me on This. For my entree I went with the Green Salmon Curry and husband the Shrimp and Grits. Both dishes were good. Husbands was definitely on the small side. This is not a place you go if super hungry. The atmosphere was lovely. You feel like you're in a greenhouse with all the glass, plants and lights. We were not pleased with the 3.5% add on kitchen fee. Just raise the menu prices to reflect this -- not cool to slide in hidden fees. The place seemed to be popular for business dinners which makes sense with its location in RRP but it makes a great date night spot as well.

Great atmosphere. The food is extremely creative and fun to order many small plates to share. The staff is extremely attentive and super enthusiastic about the food. The building is beautiful all glass walls. I did have issue with the sun being in my eyes for lunch but I guess I should pick my seat better. The parking is extremely tough. They do have valet but i personally never like valet parking. So I had to park far away near an office building. The area is very confusing as it in an office park so it seems like i put in the wrong address when I was driving up. Good time and would definitely come back just wish better parking option as it was crowded and the valet just had the cars lines upfront.

Overall the dining experience was fantastic. I had a reservation and upon arrival everything went very smoothly. We were shown our table, given our menus and water right away with an extra pitcher for refills, and given time to look at the menu. The waitress provided many recommendations when I was unsure and was helpful in selecting the right amount of food for dinner as we decided to primarily order small plates. The restaurant is decorated very nicely and feels like a perfect place to dine without feeling rushed and have a nice conversation. It's beautiful at night but I can imagine it would also look really bright during the day. Although I was hesitant at first about the food due to some mixed reviews I've received, I was pleasantly surprised by not only the complexity in flavor of all the dishes but also the cook on all the proteins. Some dishes were more on the acidic side, which some may not enjoy, but I enjoyed all of the dishes we ordered and especially enjoyed the pasta from the duck paccheri and the tenderness of the beef cheek. The restaurant was kind in celebrating the occasion that I was visiting for by gifting us a handwritten card and dessert. I would definitely recommend others to come here for an occasion and to try the food for yourself! You might like it more than what some reviewers say based on your palate. The dishes were creative and tasty.

This is my second time visiting, and once again, I was not disappointed! We came for a date night and, coincidentally, it happened to be their anniversary, so we were offered a complimentary champagne or cider -- such a thoughtful touch. We started with the Brussels sprouts and the pita with hummus, both of which were absolutely delicious. For our entrees, we had the house special -- a creative modern take on meatloaf -- and the hangover steak, which was a generous portion with very tasty potatoes. The atmosphere is elegant and perfect for celebrating a special occasion.

Our anniversary fell on a Monday this year, so we were trying to find somewhere nice to go for lunch. So many places in the area are closed on Monday so it took a little bit of research but I came across Glasshouse Kitchen. This spot is not something you'd see from the road in RTP, as it's hidden back in one of the many office complex areas. I was able to easily make a reservation online. Food was all delicious - we split a sandwich and pizza. Our server Denzel was great! He offered us champagne or a dessert for our anniversary. We opted for the chocolate coconut cake and it was so good! So glad I came across this spot!

This is long overdue came here for a wedding reception and everything was fantastic. They opted in for the brunch service. Everything came out perfect and they kept food and drinks flowing ! We had such an incredible experience and the restaurant was beautiful! Five stars all around ! Thank you so much !!

Everything was absolutely amazing here! From the service to the drinks to the food it was top notch. We came here for a friends birthday dinner and upon debating whether to get a table inside or outside they recommended us inside and the vibes were definitely nicer inside! I would get a table outside if it was busy as the food was phenomenal. Everything is seasonal and fresh and you can taste the difference that makes! They even gave us a dessert and champagne on the house for the entire group- plus they remembered the girls who were not drinking and got them a mocktail! Highly recommend coming here for special occasions

I tried this restaurant on one of my solo dates. The service was kind of slow and seemed distracted, but overall they were polite and friendly. The food was good, but nothing stood out as exceptional or something I would return for. The same for the drinks. The ambiance was beautiful and would recommend this restaurant for a photo opportunity for social media with friends or a romantic date.

Beautiful building, great location. Delicious food with focus on local farms. Excellent service!

This was a really beautiful place with a quaint, cool vibe. Parking was fairly easy as there is a larger parking lot outside of the building. From the hostess to our waiter, everyone was great. We also enjoyed our food. I had a mocktail with beets (don't remember which one) and salmon for my main course. Definitely another hidden gem in the RDU. I'm excited to go back and try other menu items!

Wow from the moment we entered to the moment we left! We were greeted and seated quickly. The wait staff was attentive and helpful when making mocktail selections and food choices. We were mesmerized by the fierce winds outside the restaurant because of the tall and surrounding windows! Somewhat surprised that even though I mentioned we were celebrating a birthday that we didn't receive a special birthday dessert... Thanks for a memorable birthday!

Super close to hotels and corporate offices which makes it very convenient for lunches and dinners right after a meeting! I loved the high ceiling with plants hanging down and it had a very open and airy feel to the whole place. It's like you're walking into a greenhouse for a fancy meal. Everything is so fresh and organic. I believe it does have a farm to table concept. We ordered a bunch of dishes and drinks which had the best presentation. The best dish was the lobster pizza and I can't stop thinking about it to this day! I think I ate it too fast to even take a picture. Lovely and friendly service too!

I almost didn't go, because I thought this was the downtown Durham restaurant, which is nice, but parking nightmare. Glad I went, though. The food was solid. I had the fired chicken sandwhich and fries the first day, a buffalo chicken wrap the second day, and the smoked chicken wings the third day, yes, 3 in a row. That has to say something, especially for me. All lunch items were pretty spot on, although I like a little more vinegar in my slaw than most. That was remedied by the texas pete on the bar. The service staff were all hands on. If the bartender was not there, the manager or a back of the house person was always checking on me. Very nice staff. As far as the ambiance itself, nice setup. Good sized bar, nice big patio, clean indoor and restrooms... all in all, I could not ding them for anything. I need to go to check out the weekend brunch or dinner menu. I am sure that I will not be disappointed, however, I have been told to get to brunch before noon, as it gets very busy, also a good thing. Cheers. :)

Even better surprise: the patio was wide open and dog-friendly. Immediate bonus points. Service was great. She was friendly, attentive, and helpful with recommendations without being overbearing. I had the Shrimp & Grits, which came with plenty of large shrimp and really rich, flavorful grits. Definitely a solid choice. My date ordered the Blackstone Benedict -a sort of ham, poached eggs, and hollandaise, with breakfast potatoes and gluten-free bread. She was genuinely thrilled with it, which is saying something as she is a hollondaise stickler. By the time we were leaving, a line had started to build, so if you're planning a weekend brunch here, I'd recommend getting there on the earlier side. Parking is easy (big lot), and there's a grocery store right next door, which is surprisingly convenient. Overall, just a really easy, enjoyable brunch spot with good food, great service, and a relaxed vibe. We'll be back.

Going with bits of Indian, Italian, and Mexican cuisine with bar standbys like burgers and salads, there's something for about every taste preference. Casual but nicely decorated inside and service with a bit of a personal note to it, I had a good lunch visit here. The Deets: I went for a walk down Hatcher Creek Greenway and decided to duck into Morrisville Square for a bite to eat for lunch. I had seen Sips N Spices on my Yelp radar for the neighborhood so chose them for some eats. With the outside signs displaying "Grill, Taco, Pizza & Bar" it sounded like they had quite the variety. That variety shows through upon entering in, with the atmosphere and menu. The feel on the inside is cool and eclectic both, very relaxing and very casual but clean and well decorated (see pics). As far as the menu, they have a fusion of Indian, Italian, and Mexican going on but also burgers and salads if you are looking for more bar-like cuisine. They really do have a little bit of everything, even hookah and a full bar. The atmosphere was chill and relax with friends kind of vibe to me. In looking at all the possibilities on the wide variety offered on the menu, I went a bit out of my comfort zone in ordering the Butter Chicken Pasta dish (without the optional green chili). Note to tea drinkers, they only offer sweet tea I found when I tried to order unsweetened tea but I was good with a Diet Coke instead. The Butter Chicken Pasta was a perfect lunch portion served as a bowl. Even without the green chili option, it still had a bit of spice to it but enough to make it flavorful without being overwhelming (as you know, I'm not one for overly spicy foods). Even with the dish having more spice than expected (he said he would place the order in as mild), I enjoyed my lunch here as this pasta dish was anything but boring and lackluster, again flavorful comes to mind. I also liked that Nick here at Sip N Spices took the time to ask me how I knew about them and what brought me in, as well as him sharing that the dishes are inspired by his grandmother's recipes. Personal customer service is always a positive in my book and it was shown here. I look forward to trying other menu selections here, especially if I have an urge for a burger in the future. A good first visit here!

As a vegetarian, there were admittedly pretty limited options, but I was aware of that going in and still wanted to try out this Durham institution. You get complimentary Focaccia (not once, but twice!), with perfectly crusty outside, bouncy inside, and a wonderful olive oil. If I had known this beforehand, probably would not have ordered the Dinner Rolls- nonetheless, they were delightful (pillowy soft and came with an airy butter). As an appetizer, we got the Little Gem Lettuce, which was a little too salty for my taste, and I felt the citrus accentuated the saltiness even more. However, my friends thought it was seasoned well so take this with a grain of salt lol. But I did enjoy the creaminess of the dressing and the crunch from the topping; also, it was pleasant to eat along with some bread. For my entrée, I got the Spaghettini. This was my first time trying shaved black truffle and I was underwhelmed, but I loved the pasta itself, which had a really unique bite to it and was rich but not heavy. The pasta dishes are on the smaller side with regards to portion. Last but definitely not least: the Hot Chocolate Soufflé. Oh my gosh. When I say this was heavenly, I could literally hear angels singing as I took my first bite. The hot fudge was velvety but not overwhelming, the soufflé soft, and perfectly balanced by the cool bourbon-caramel ice cream. This is assembled table side so you get a fun little show as well haha. We were taken on a bit of an emotional rollercoaster because apparently they were having trouble with the oven, but so grateful that could be fixed. Service was amazing (shout out to Beza!), very friendly and appropriate timing. Ambiance is superb, literally the epitome of modern elegance and probably the best in Durham for a fancy night out. Highly recommend getting a reservation. I could see parking being tricky on busy weekends, but I was able to snag a spot in front of the restaurant. Overall, I had a good experience with some minor room for improvement with dish execution but definitely would appreciate more vegetarian and vegan-friendly options (although, I suppose I didn't ask if modifications to dishes was possible). 9/10 would recommend!
