Had to opportunity to check this place out prior to our trek back to NorCal, immediately following AYCE shabu, and I'm glad I didn't pass up on the opportunity, given that my stomach has seemingly reached full capacity. As we entered, we were gifted the pleasure of a warm greeting by a staff member who then sat us down and gave us first-timers a brief overview of the menu, his recommendations, and a brief history lesson about the origin of Fluffy Fluffy. After some waiting, we were presented with three aesthetically pleasing plates of these highly hyped fluffy pancakes. I then grabbed a knife and fork to cut into the stack of pancakes and was astonished by how... for a lack of better word, fluffy they were. Upon first bite, I expected a rush of sugar to register after a few seconds of chewing. However, that sensation never came. The pancakes were just the right level of sweet. A few minutes later, the plates were completely cleared and I was back to suffering from again reaching full capacity and thought to myself, "when will I ever learn?". All in all, great hospitality from staff, clean and upbeat ambiance, and most importantly excellent dessert items that were easy to consume without the feeling of developing instantaneous diabetes after finishing. Everything was made fresh to order (except the bites), and you can tell they take their time putting everything together. The Crepuccini was by far my favorite. The combination of warm crepe, cinnamon apples, white chocolate, and vanilla ice cream was so good, and now I want to go back just to try more flavor combinations. The Spanish latte was good, although I was expecting it to be a little sweeter. The peach smoothie was refreshing, and while the mango bursting boba was fun to try, I realized I still prefer traditional boba. The menu has so many different options that it was honestly hard to choose. Tons of parking, a small place but def a few tables for comfortable seating. If you're looking for a fun dessert spot in Tustin, I'd definitely recommend checking it out.

Usually parking here isn't too bad if you're staying for less than an hour and easy to walk over to the dessert shop. Baked Banhs is located in the 4th street food market, one of the first shops you'll see if you're coming from the parking lot. Note the hours before you come (for instance, they're closed on Sundays and Mondays). And note that they seem to usually sell out of certain items by the days end. We've tried a number of different items here now including four of their canelés and their basque cheesecake. The cheesecake was solid. But we really loved their canelés. They are soft/moist on the inside with a nice crunch. And the different flavors really come through. Our favorite is the black sesame - not only is there black sesame peppered on the top but also in the center with a nice black sesame cream. It's so good and delicious. Four canelés cost $16 and thought they were well worth the price. Again, it's so sad to hear that Baked Banhs is closing soon so if you're a fan of canelés or other desserts, recommended to come sooner than later to try this out! We really hope they reopen again elsewhere or do a lot of pop-ups soon.

When you enter, they have a display case that shows what each donut they offer looks like. You order and pay at the counter, give them your name, and find a seat while you wait for them to call out your name. There's always a little bit of a wait for your donuts because they fry them all fresh! The dough they use is also similar to a sourdough, so the taste and texture is so unique. They have their standard/permanent flavors as well as seasonal/rotating ones. My friends and I shared the Banoffee ($7.95), Pumpkin Pie ($8.95), Pumpkin Glazed ($5.75), and Bumbleberry Glazed ($5.50). Each donut is hefty so sharing is the way to go.
