Calzone

The owner/chef tried. But it was terrible. This was my calzone with spinach, olives, mushrooms, and tomatoes.

Totally love coming here... the owner is amazing, the food is great, everything is made to order. We had the babaganoush as always with warm, freshly made bread. He offered us cold lemongrass tea which was so refreshing. We tried the Armenian Pizza with mushrooms. Passed my test for fresh mushrooms, and it was so good. We then tried the tiramisu which he serves chilled from the freezer; great flavors there. Won't hesitate to keep coming back here.

Had a quiet dinner with my friend on a rainy Friday night. I am fond of this place because it's about the food and service FIRST with good company to share it with, NOT so much about the Fabulousness of the atmosphere! (If you're paying attention, the food is excellently prepared and delicious.) The portions are generous and the value is AMAZING. My friend and I shared course plates of a garden side salad to which we added the Athens Tear Drops (Battered Cod Balls) and then the Shrimp & Calamari Salad. Fantastic + healthy! We split a Falafel Wrap while finishing up our salad. Just the perfect amount of food for a healthy meal. I can hardly wait to come back soon for the lamb or kabob wraps made with homemade bread we watched (+ smelled) being baked on site. The Fish Dinner + Fish Soup are also local favorites. NY Thin Crust cheese pizzas were flying out the door as pickup orders. I'm so grateful this place is now bouncing back after COVID. I suggest you put on a nice T Shirt and find out too what more people are discovering about the food here. Again, it's REALLY about the food!

Great food and customer service. We got the beef kabob tender and juicy. As well with the chicken kabob and hummus.

I felt so welcomed upon walking in. It was very cold and windy in the plaza, and I appreciated the…read moreoffer to have a seat at a table while I waited. I was a bit early for my pickup, and while I waited I was even offered a water. It smells so incredible in here that I was already so excited for my meal. I ordered the Polish plate, because it's my first experience trying Polish cuisine. I wanted an opportunity to try many different dishes, and this plate included Golabki, Potato & Cheese Pierogis, Potato Pancakes, and one Polish Sausage. A friend of mine raved about his mother's golabki for years, so naturally I started my meal with that. Wow, it was incredible! It almost reminded me of a spaghetti dish with its vivid tomato flavor. I really love that the roll holds together well when you're eating it with a knife and fork. I'm going to ask my friend for a recipe because it seems like it would be a good go to meal. I think my next favorite item was the polish sausage. I do enjoy eating sausages, but sometimes I'm just not a fan of how some are seasoned. That wasn't a problem with this polish sausage, because it was delicious and flavored just to my liking. Now pierogis I have tried before, and I'm not sure if they are polish origin or a neighboring country, but I have always enjoyed them. These cheese and potato pierogis were exactly as I expected them. They were cooked well and stuffed with filling. I shared a few with my nephew who is a bit picky, and to our surprise he was enjoying them. I would definitely give another flavor option a try! The final item was the potato pancakes and I think they were cooked well, but I think I would have preferred a little more salt to bring out the flavor. I plan to research Polish food after this visit and see how each dish is usually eaten. There were 3 condiments that accompanied my meal, but I didn't use them. For the most part, each dish was delicious all on its own. The Polish plate is definitely enough to share between 2 people, and you'd probably have just enough room for dessert as well. I know the pistachio cheesecake will definitely see me, if I find myself in the Daytona beach area again! Thank you Dill Schnitzel & Pierogi House for an amazing first experience with Polish cuisine!

What a fun find! I was in town for a career fair and my friend said I should check this place out…read more It's in a bit of a weird spot in a mostly chain restaurant shopping area, but don't let that fool you! It was literally steps to the beach so that was nice to stroll out there before/after. After poking around some shops, I made my way upstairs to Dill! The place is cute and colorful! Loved the European decor! I was there on a Tuesday night and there were only 2 other tables sat so pretty dead at the time. Server was lovely, cheerful, and helpful! They don't have a full bar but do serve beer and wine so was able to get a glass of vino. I really wanted schnitzel and pierogies but unfortunately you can only get the pierogies by the dozen (unless you get the big combo meal which comes with 6 rogis and a shit ton of other food). Problem was, I had a 6am flight the next morning so no way I would be able to eat any leftovers. I asked if there was ANY way I could just get like 2 rogis and she unfortunately said no (I totally get it, but maybe add smaller options in the future!). So I went with a cup of borscht soup and the pork schnitzel. The soup was served hot (I've only ever had it cold) and was very good! The schnitzel was legit the biggest schnitzel I've ever seen in my life and it's a GOOD THING I didn't get rogis in addition to it lol. I immediately cut it in half and was only able to eat that much. I got the mushroom sauce too and that was so yummy with the schnitzel! The potatoes and slaw were very good too, loved how refreshing the slaw was!! You would never think to look for this kind of food in Daytona of all places, but it's definitely worth a stop! If I had anyone dining with me, I could see getting a few dishes to split because of how large the schnitzel was. Wonderful place with great service and delicious food, just wish I was able to try those rogis!

Our servers name was Greg; he knew everything about the menu and gave honest suggestions. We opted for the chef's 5-course tasting menu ($85). The portions are smaller, each dish is thoughtfully crafted and surprisingly filling. The drinks are easily some of the best I've had. Sitting at the chef's table added a unique, interactive element to the evening and felt like great value for the price. The only area that didn't quite match the rest was the ambiance, which could use a bit more effort. Still, the quality of the food and overall experience more than make up for it. I'd definitely return.

Regrettably, our visit did not meet expectations based on previous reviews. Lunch is served exclusively outdoors and features a more limited menu. While it was a different experience than we expected, the beautiful oceanfront setting more than made up for it. Cast & Crew is inside the Renaissance Hotel. Valet parking is complimentary for up to 4 hours. The Maine Lobster BLT was generously filled with sweet, tender chunks of lobster, which was a bit under seasoned. The bacon was really tough to chew. The fries were wonderfully crispy and the perfect side. The Floral Tides was a refreshing cocktail made with gin, Eldeflower, agave, and lemon I'd love to return and experience the dinner menu to provide a more complete and balanced review.

We came for lunch and honestly didn't want to leave. Our server Brooke was the kind of person who makes a restaurant great. Attentive, upbeat, and genuinely welcoming from the moment we sat down. She had great energy and made our whole group feel taken care of without ever being intrusive. Ask for her if you can. The food was outstanding. We ordered the ahi tuna pizza -- a crispy flatbread topped with fresh raw tuna, avocado, sesame seeds, and a drizzle of spicy aioli and teriyaki glaze. It was stunning to look at and even better to eat. The blackened fish sandwich came loaded with fresh toppings and paired perfectly with the golden fries. The grilled chicken tacos were generous and well-seasoned with a mango salsa on the side that really popped. We also got the coconut shrimp -- beautifully fried with a honey mustard dipping sauce -- and our little one loved the chicken bites and fries. Don't skip the gator bites either -- a true Florida experience, perfectly crispy and served with a honey mustard that kept us reaching for more. Everything tasted fresh, like it came straight off the boat. We toasted the afternoon with margaritas on the rocks and honestly couldn't imagine a better setting -- salt-rimmed cups, ocean breeze, the sound of waves just a few feet away. Yes, the prices are a step up, but when you factor in that you're sitting steps from the beach with food this fresh and a view like this, it's worth every penny. If you're passing through Daytona, make a point to stop in -- you won't regret it.

Just a note this is a delivery review so can't comment on what the restaurant looks like but can comment on the food. It was really good. I ordered the grilled steak bowl and my friend ordered the lamb bowl. Both arrived warm and fresh. I liked all of the different options and the portions were very generous. My steak was very tender and well seasoned. The vermicelli rice was a little dry but still good. They messed up my order so I did not get to try the baba ganoush, but I can say that the tzatziki sauce was nice. They also forgot my dressing so I didn't get to try the lemon and garlic tahini. My friend liked her lamb bowl. She stated that it was very flavorful and well seasoned. Good portion. She also did not get her dressing, which is why I took a point off the review. I know we'll probably order from here again, and I may actually stop in one day. Hopefully get to try that baba ganoush and the dressings.

While my wife and I found a number of casual restaurants on the Yelp app to try, this place succeeded in bringing us here by its menu selection. We seated ourselves and the server welcomed us and brought over menus. She was helpful and friendly through the entire meal. Because I had previewed the menu, I quickly chose "da Nachos. My wife chose the Original Dancer sandwich. Wow! The flavors in both our dishes hit our tastebuds to easily say we'd return here. For "da Nachos", the thin sliced sirloin combined with the jalapeño, sautéed mushrooms, melted cheese, chipotle and garlic aioli was like "music" in my mouth (if there could be such a thing!). I greatly appreciated how the chips stood up to all the juice and condiments. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her fully-packed sandwich, and the side of cucumber salad was light, yet tasty and satisfying. We met and talked briefly with the owner who was a nice chap. One last note. The interior from about the kitchen back was littered with boxes of miscellaneous items. We don't know if they had run out of space in back or if it always was cluttered. Additionally, we noticed a smell, like cleaning solution further into the place. Don't let these last two items deter your visit here. Check out the menu, and order food. Just know you might want to consider eating outside or getting takeout.
