    Calzone

The owner/chef tried. But it was terrible. This was my calzone with spinach, olives, mushrooms, and tomatoes.

Totally love coming here... the owner is amazing, the food is great, everything is made to order. We had the babaganoush as always with warm, freshly made bread. He offered us cold lemongrass tea which was so refreshing. We tried the Armenian Pizza with mushrooms. Passed my test for fresh mushrooms, and it was so good. We then tried the tiramisu which he serves chilled from the freezer; great flavors there. Won't hesitate to keep coming back here.

Had a quiet dinner with my friend on a rainy Friday night. I am fond of this place because it's about the food and service FIRST with good company to share it with, NOT so much about the Fabulousness of the atmosphere! (If you're paying attention, the food is excellently prepared and delicious.) The portions are generous and the value is AMAZING. My friend and I shared course plates of a garden side salad to which we added the Athens Tear Drops (Battered Cod Balls) and then the Shrimp & Calamari Salad. Fantastic + healthy! We split a Falafel Wrap while finishing up our salad. Just the perfect amount of food for a healthy meal. I can hardly wait to come back soon for the lamb or kabob wraps made with homemade bread we watched (+ smelled) being baked on site. The Fish Dinner + Fish Soup are also local favorites. NY Thin Crust cheese pizzas were flying out the door as pickup orders. I'm so grateful this place is now bouncing back after COVID. I suggest you put on a nice T Shirt and find out too what more people are discovering about the food here. Again, it's REALLY about the food!

long wait bad food prices were understated on menu. Waited 2 hrs for our last person to get our food. Some people got meals that were not edible

This is different, this is the real deal. You look at their menu and know it's legit at once--then there are the desserts which are also legit and remarkably so--very welcome. My bun bowl with skewered grilled pork and spring roll was absolutely perfect. Like, it seriously could not have been any better. Adrian, my waiter, was also excellent. My only critique--and it may seem a petty one--is the music was banal, trite, American and British pop hits from the early 2000s. There is so much good Viet pop and other Asian music--K-pop if nothing else--they could play, so why this? I don't want to hear the same music Kohl's plays at a restaurant so magical and delicious. But aside from the bad choice of tunes, this is a gem in full.

Our first visit we had Ashlynn F as our server. We struck up a conversation with her on the first visit and found her to be friendly, professional and knew everything about the food and restaurant. So, as we drove over for our second visit we hoped Ashlynn would be there again. Well, our wish came true and we were greeted by Ashlynn when we walked through the doors. Not only did Ashlynn remember us, where we sat on our first visit but also what we ordered the first time!! Anyway if you want great food, great service and some drinks, with or without alcohol, give Mama's Pho a go and we don't think you'll be disappointed. See you next time Ashlynn

That is exactly what we were looking - something local owned and preferably family owned. When you walk in, you're made to feel like Family, and that is excellent! The food wow the portions are humongous. I have to start with that. You definitely will not leave here hungry! The corn beef was fresh. I wished it had more onion and some bell pepper, but it was still great. I sampled the chicken salad and that was out of this world and the hamburger looked fantastic. As we were leaving, they had just put out muffins and cinnamon rolls. What a tremendous tease! Here it is Passover so I cannot have it and pistachio muffins are my favorite and they looked phenomenal. I was so tempted to break Passover so early for the looks of that muffin, but I knew it was a test that I had to pass. That was not easy! This was definitely worth the drive and the value for the dollar!
