I've been to this location many times over the last few years. They probably know my brother by order at this point! It's always had good service and good food. I love all the seating options, many cozy booths and big tables to work at. Umbrella-ed outdoor seating too. They've semi-recently added kiosks to order from inside, a nice and quick convenience. Wish it was cleaner. We've often had to wipe down tables before sitting down. Could probably use a recarpeting or deep vacuum clean honestly. I think they should have a bell ding or receipt number call out when your food is ready. I've seen this at other locations, and I'm surprised the cook didn't say or announce anything when our food was ready. read more

I was recently here for lunch, amazing food and wonderful service besides one staff member. While I was dining I could hear this young woman Alayia yelling from where I was sat in the dining room. Not only could I clearly hear her yelling she was also walking around the dining room which I would not have minded if she wasn't rudely eyeing me and my husband while we were eating. It was incredibly uncomfortable and I found her behavior to be very unpleasant and unprofessional. I was at this Panera a couple days ago with my wife, and while the food was amazing as per usual, I found it difficult to enjoy my food as well as the time spent with my wife due to one of the staff members, I think her name was Alayiah, me and my wife's initial experience with her when we first entered was unremarkable, but shortly after we were seated we noticed she was frequently eyeing us and our table as well as yelling quite loudly while behind the counter, she made the overall experience hard to enjoy, I like dining her quite a lot, and the other staff there are nothing short of amazing, I really do hope something is done about this lady and her behavior, I'd imagine having a shift with her must be unenjoyable. read more

I recently came here about a week ago for dinner and the experience was absolutely amazing! Staff were very sweet and funny Constantly joking around with the customers and making everyone happy! The food was amazing and as far as I could see no one had to wait very long for their food at all i think the manager's name was Nate or Nathaniel and he was absolutely a joy to be around and even took the time to have a conversation with an upset customer after the problem was resolved and the chef was very funny and welcoming as we waited for our food i don't remember his name but he was very slim and wore dreads in his hair and double checked with me before handing my food out! The cashier was very friendly and gave me dog a few loving pets as well My only issue was that their was a squished mayonnaise packet under my table but other than that would totally come again just because of these amazing people! This Panera did not sit well with the family. We came in with a family of 5 and everyone had issues with their food. The cream cheese seemed old. It tasted either outdated or poorly stored. The bagels tasted like they were baked a week ago. Very hard and bland. The yogurt parfaits were really thick and seemed like it wasn't made properly. The staff was nice. The service is friendly, but I'm not sure that the cashiers really listen. I always get my food to go and I always say, "This order will be to go". And then they always ask, at some point, "Will this be for here or to go?". It always happens. With different cashiers. Go figure. Anyway, I like their soups, sandwiches, and salads. I came here on Mother's Day 2018 when travelling to Daytona Beach and received poor treatment when trying to order from female cashier. She ignored me when I spoke to her about my Panera loyalty card and desire to swipe my loyalty card. Then continued to ignore me when I struggled to be heard placing my food order because she got into a conversation with a co-worker of hers (who turned out to be The Manager) when I was standing in front of her. Having been ignored from the get-go I refused to try to order from the female cashier anymore. I asked whether I could order at a different register (all other registers were closed). The Manager opened a register and prepared to take my order, and, I began to attempt to swipe my Panera Loyalty card over there (just opened register). I complained to him about having been ignored by the female. He advised (and argued with me) that she had not been ignoring me because she was talking to him (Manager). I protested his excuse by advising him that I was talking to her- attempting to talk to her, that is- before he approached and started a conversation with her. He continued to argue with me about how she wasn't ignoring me because she was talking to him and would not offer an apology if any sort. Just argumentative and I told him he was "argumentative, on Mother's Day of all days." To that, he argued some more. Excuse me but if a Cashier refuses to listen to a guest coming up to her register to order and insists on carrying on an extended conversation with a co-worker even if the co-worker is a manager- isn't that the very definition of ignoring a customer?? I told the manager I was (attempting to) speak to her before he approached to start the long conversation with her, preventing me from being able to obtain service from her. He argued that I had not been talking (trying to, that is) to her before their conversation. In addition to arguing with me at every turn he, again, offered no apology; and, did not wish me a Happy Mother's Day. He asked my name for the order. I said wait a minute I started out here as I did over there (other register) trying to swipe in with my Panera Loyalty card "and you are asking me my name." That was a VERY BIG indication that my various attempts to swipe in with my loyalty card were unsuccessful otherwise he would have had my name. I was shocked and called him out by saying to him that despite my struggle to swipe in at her register, then his register my efforts were "overlooked" and I wasn't successfully swiped in as a Panera Member and this Panera store couldn't have cared less. Of course, he argued that it had not been "overlooked. Excuse me but isn'f it odd that a Manager would watch me swipe in and when that did not work he did not pay enough attention to what was going on to at least caution me about the swipe being unsuccessful. He didn't do so because he did not care if I "really" checked in or not. Excuse me but isn't failing to tell a customer who made a prolonged effort to swipe in that they still weren't swiped in the very definition of "overlooked"? Then, he argued that my card probably wasn't "registered." He did that by asking whether my card was registered. I indicated that I believed, yes, my Panera loyalty card was registered. He began asking for my telephone number. I answered that I did not like to tell my phone number. I indicated, however, that I would punch in my telephone number. I typed/punched in the telephone number attached to my loyalty membership. I asked a couple of times whether the tel number method (punch in) was successful and was told, thank goodness, that I had (finally) checked in to the daytona beach Panera Bread successfully as a loyalty member. I thrn ordered. Whew! I ordered a Pick 2 soup and salad, a kid's meal, and a Beverage. I paid with credit card but was not thanked. I placed a separate order for a special .99 cent SPECIAL PRICE pastry based on my meal purchase. Again, I was NOT thanked. I was not wished Happy Mother's Day and instead was argued with after having been ignored and after my loyalty membership was effectively initially overlooked. I could not help but notice that I was not offered offered a .99 cent reduced price pastry at the time of my order. Good Customer Service would have offered the special pastry deal based upon my order. This time I PAID CASH; wasn't thanked. Employees here- on the cash register, at least- don't care about the customer's experience and would rather ARGUE when they are not providing basic level Customer Service. They would rather argue on Mother's Day, too. As for the food preparation there were pieces of Kernel Corn mixed in with my Greek salad that weren't supposed to be in there. Corn Chowder- Summer Corn Chowder, that is- tasted good as did the kid's grilled cheese. For the hassle and disrespect and all-around poor treatment I rate this Panera 2 1/2 stars. read more

I really liked this Panera Bread location. It is very convenient and easy to get to. The restaurant is clean and well managed. The food was prepared quickly and was delicious. The staff was cool and funny and added to the experience as you could tell they were having fun and enjoyed their work. I placed an order through the rapid pickup option and waited for 30 minutes passed my pickup time, only to realize they didn't even have all of the ingredients to make my sandwich. A good location if you are heading to the race track. You can get in by entering in three different areas (Joann fabric traveling south on Williamson vs the two entrances in front of it on ISB). If heading north take a turn at the light for 92. If heading East to the beach you have to make a U turn so be careful. Parking lot can get crazy as well so be careful. Once you arrive the location is similar to many others. I never get the home comfort feeling you get at some but it is good for breakfast or lunch. They will run out of stuff so don't be surprised when you order if they come back to tell you they do not have it. Overall just OK thus 3 stars. read more

When they make a mistake on your order expect them to be unhelpful. Update: Expect them to forget something on your order. I referred the turkey bacon club and broccoli cheese soup. The soup is on point. The sandwich was fresh. They even had hot baked bread coming out of the oven which made it to our plates. Panera can be a little pricey, that is my only negative. My meal plus a cup of soup for my daughter ran us $20. We drank water as we didn't want to drop any lore on a quick brunch. I've been in this location 3x's. Forgot this location is bad. Always out of ingredients on Sandwiches or Salads. I don't mine if I know. Having been a customer for years I have to say this Panera is consistently poorly managed. They are often out of basic items and the counter staff seems poorly trained. I'm a regular at many Panera's, including this one, so I was disappointed at the poor level of cleanliness and food preparation during this visit. Although the staff was pleasant, they didn't seem well trained or supervised. First, the store was out of basics, like chicken soup and certain specialty dressings. Next, we were very turned off by how dirty the restaurant seemed. We went past at least 4 open booths before we found one that had at least been wiped clean. The floor and other tables looked as though no one had made a basic sweep of the place in awhile. It was not crowded at all. But, the final thorn was when we went to pick up the order and the melted cheese on the sandwich was all over the plate and counter, but the sandwich prep seemed haphazard at best.
