She also told us the reward would take days to show up. We went ahead and paid, but while sitting down I finished signing up anyway... and surprise: the reward appeared immediately at checkout. Meaning we could've used it right then, despite being told otherwise. I don't need the free burger, but the misinformation and weird marketing tactic felt shady. If you're going to advertise a promo, it should be clear and honest. Great food, but not a great first impression in terms of transparency. And honestly, I might have expected this kind of rushed, dismissive behavior if the restaurant had been packed -- but it was completely empty. That should've been the perfect opportunity to give good service, create a lasting returning customer, and not cut corners. I would've happily come back after trying the food itself.
