I gave this Starbucks three stars because they always do the bare minimum. Some of the workers are great when I go to the store in person but other times they seem lethargic, unhappy, etc. My mom ordered a matcha on doordash and I ordered a drink myself, they gave us one straw and filled the matcha 3/4 of the way. She also did not have her drink taped when they gave it to us. I know it was not the dasher because the starbucks bags were taped shut fully. But her drink was horrific and nobody should be getting drinks like that. The New Smyrna Starbucks always does the most, but the Port Orange one NEEDS to do better, as they are the busiest one in town. read more

Always seem to be out of products versus any other Starbucks in the area. Seems to me it's poor management as if you can't account for inventory you should not have that position at a major chain coffee shop. I believe most Starbucks are the same as far as prices, beverage selection and customer service. However, this location exceeded my expectations. I usually get a ice latte or a frappe with an extra shot of espresso. This time I wanted something different, but I didn't know what I was wanted. After speaking to the barista, she recommended caramel macchiato cold brew. I was skeptical, but she reassured me that I can change my order if I wasn't satisfied. The mobile ordering was not working for some unknown reason on my end just kept saying "we can't process your order at this time.", when I got there, I noticed that they had a ton of mobile orders not a big deal. I had time to run inside and order. What frustrates me is the fact that I paid $8 for an iced coffee and I didn't get all the iced coffee, lol. I'm not trying to be labeled as a "Karen "by going up an ask to remake my drink so I left but I wish I stayed and said something because this looks like they made me a grande and then just added ice on top. You will stand at the counter, being ignored, while employees in headsets run around all over the place, focusing on customers who are still driving to the store. We had the opportunity of swinging by the Starbucks in Port Orange yesterday mid afternoon. Although usually line can be full, there was a vehicle ahead, and we pulled up to order box. The attendant was super nice, asked our name , and was helpful picking out our orders. The orders were made up quickly, and delivered to us through the window . His name is Tyler. He was exceptional! Great attitude, up beat, and pleasant . A rare commodity in these times..... the coffee selection were great. But experience with Tyler was the winning combination. We stopped for a coffee around lunch time. The clerk took our first order without issue. I attempted to order a Carmel ribbon crunch frap off the menu board and was told they were out of the ingredients. Next try was a "pink Drink" again off the menu board on the wall. The clerk said they were out of that also. I looked up again on the menu board and said the strawberry lemon something iced tea. Again I was told they couldn't make that either. Finally I told the clerk to surprise me. Big mistake I'm not really sure what it was but it was not palatable to me. Until stopping recently I haven't been to this particular location since 2017. Nothing has changed they're inconsistent and the store is never up to other locations standards. There is a huge consistency problem at this location. Honestly, all the Starbucks in eastern Volusia County have this exact issue. Drinks are great one time and a few days later they're sometimes consumable. When we travel to Orlando or Melbourne or St Augustine there is consistency and the drinks are worth the trip and cost and "oh sooo yummy." I'm sad to say I'm going to buy a cappuccino coffee station for home. With Starbucks supplies I'll guarantee I will create a consistent coffee just like the good stores put out in the mentioned locations. read more

Beautiful, cozy location with plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor. The furniture has a rustic look and includes some comfy chairs. They also have plenty of items items for sale (coffee, mugs, snacks, gifts). All of the employees seemed friendly and handled both the drive thru and instore lines efficiently. I ordered a venti cafe misto through Postmates. No problems there. It was on time and in perfect condition. The driver was friendly. The coffee was not made the way I ordered it. This is a frequent occurrence with this Starbucks. Many times I have to go back around the drive through to have a correction made. This one cup of coffee cost 14$ and that is an extravagance because of the delivery service (I ran out of cream or I'd have just made it myself!!) but even without the added cost, when you're paying 7 bucks for coffee from a reputable coffee house, you should get perfection every time. The best way I can describe this coffee is that it tasted like like an old brew that was mixed with wet dog. This was very disappointing. I had to leave a star rating but there was no option for zero stars which is why I was forced to give 1 star. read more

My brother goes to school in the area so when I visit him, it's pretty much a default that I go over to this Starbucks, I heard from him to avoid the drive thru as it backs up frequently. He was correct in that suggestion -- I was able to get in and out of the cafe while only one car was able to get out of the drive thru.
