Excellent place for having drinks and food. Izel was our awesome server. Very personable and helpful with suggestions about the menu selection. Very laid back and relaxing atmosphere. My steak was perfect and the pasta was on point.

Im gonna start right here with a 10/10 rating. Note....my husband is not a fan of hotel restaurant dining...but being we were in Daytona and upper scale dining is limited (IMO). The bartender from the hotel where we were staying for the week recommended we go here for dinner (she is a server there and we love her - sadly cannot recall her name) Sat at the bar with Brandon. Ordered 2 glasses of Fontanafreda Barbera (yum). We werent starving but ordered the burrata, just to kick things off. While waiting our bartender/server brought us over a sampling of the salmon mouse on a wonton sitting on a butternut squash puree. That, that is where it started. The burrata was equally outstanding accompanied by a tomato espuma, interesting "delicate glass like" basil crisp and surrounded by sliced figs. Heaven on a plate. Next up we had to get the mussels...best, I repeat BEST Ive ever had. Brilliantly nestled in a green coconut curry sauce that I finished off with a spoon (after I devoured what I could with croutons - yes that good. (warning a lil spicy...FYI if you arent into that) next up was the curry risotto - could have added protein but chose to eat just just as it was with perfect little mushrooms, butternut squash and zucchini slices. Again, a weee bit spicy but I was here for every bite of it. We shared it all and sadly no room for dessert (Brandon was disappointed). Regardless, next time we are in the area, we will stay here and eat every meal here! If you are in the area get over there now! **side note they have the most amazing patio bar area - but it was closed due to weather. (photos dont even come close to justice for this delish meal!!!

First of all, this restaurant is located inside the new Renaissance Hotel on the beach side, which is absolutely gorgeous. They did an amazing job with the decor and styling of the hotel, but this restaurant is amazing, especially the patio area looking out over the ocean. We had breakfast here on Easter Sunday morning after we attended a sunrise service on the beach and we were transported to some other, much better place. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here and highly recommend it. The food was good, the service was awesome And the ambience and views of the ocean can't be beat.

Truly an exceptional experience. I sat at the bar and decided to try the 5 course tasting menu with the wine pairings and was not disappointed at all. My bartender was great and very well informed. The food was incredible and interesting. I also thought the pricing was a bargain considering the portions and amount of food. I was honestly very impressed with all the dishes. Totally recommend!

Wonderful experience eating dinner here while visiting Daytona Beach! My wife and I were staying at the Renaissance Hotel and figured we had to try the Cast & Crew restaurant. All of the food was amazing. Our waitress, Angel was a joy. She informed us the chef is from the Netherlands. My favorite had to be the cream puff dessert. I would be prepared for a more expensive bill while dining here. The menu is filled with fresh fish options. The overall decor of the restaurant was higher scale and classy.

The main takeaway: I can't wait to come back!!! If you are looking for an upscale place with friendly and attentive staff (shoutout to Savannah and Sam) and a great atmosphere, this is it. I was a bit hesitant since it is attached to a hotel, but the food and drinks are phenomenal and totally reasonably priced for the quality and portions that you get. We had the bread & dips and the seared ahi tuna (we devoured the tuna before I could take a photo). There was live music which was also a huge bonus! They do brunch on the weekends and I can't wait to try it. Overall I would highly recommend! We're lucky to gain a new gem in the area. Pro tip: If you give the valet your receipt from the restaurant, your parking is free. So don't let parking stop you from coming here!

Great experience all the way around! The restaurant is beautiful and right on the beach. We had the kale salad and the catch of the day, which was monkfish. Incredible! And to top everything off, the service was outstanding, especially our server, Wynn.

I was a bit early for my pickup, and while I waited I was even offered a water. It smells so incredible in here that I was already so excited for my meal. I ordered the Polish plate, because it's my first experience trying Polish cuisine. I wanted an opportunity to try many different dishes, and this plate included Golabki, Potato & Cheese Pierogis, Potato Pancakes, and one Polish Sausage. A friend of mine raved about his mother's golabki for years, so naturally I started my meal with that. Wow, it was incredible! It almost reminded me of a spaghetti dish with its vivid tomato flavor. I really love that the roll holds together well when you're eating it with a knife and fork. I'm going to ask my friend for a recipe because it seems like it would be a good go to meal. I think my next favorite item was the polish sausage. I do enjoy eating sausages, but sometimes I'm just not a fan of how some are seasoned. That wasn't a problem with this polish sausage, because it was delicious and flavored just to my liking. Now pierogis I have tried before, and I'm not sure if they are polish origin or a neighboring country, but I have always enjoyed them. These cheese and potato pierogis were exactly as I expected them. They were cooked well and stuffed with filling. I shared a few with my nephew who is a bit picky, and to our surprise he was enjoying them. I would definitely give another flavor option a try! The final item was the potato pancakes and I think they were cooked well, but I think I would have preferred a little more salt to bring out the flavor. I plan to research Polish food after this visit and see how each dish is usually eaten. There were 3 condiments that accompanied my meal, but I didn't use them. For the most part, each dish was delicious all on its own. The Polish plate is definitely enough to share between 2 people, and you'd probably have just enough room for dessert as well. I know the pistachio cheesecake will definitely see me, if I find myself in the Daytona beach area again! Thank you Dill Schnitzel & Pierogi House for an amazing first experience with Polish cuisine!

It was literally steps to the beach so that was nice to stroll out there before/after. After poking around some shops, I made my way upstairs to Dill! The place is cute and colorful! Loved the European decor! I was there on a Tuesday night and there were only 2 other tables sat so pretty dead at the time. Server was lovely, cheerful, and helpful! They don't have a full bar but do serve beer and wine so was able to get a glass of vino. I really wanted schnitzel and pierogies but unfortunately you can only get the pierogies by the dozen (unless you get the big combo meal which comes with 6 rogis and a shit ton of other food). Problem was, I had a 6am flight the next morning so no way I would be able to eat any leftovers. I asked if there was ANY way I could just get like 2 rogis and she unfortunately said no (I totally get it, but maybe add smaller options in the future!). So I went with a cup of borscht soup and the pork schnitzel. The soup was served hot (I've only ever had it cold) and was very good! The schnitzel was legit the biggest schnitzel I've ever seen in my life and it's a GOOD THING I didn't get rogis in addition to it lol. I immediately cut it in half and was only able to eat that much. I got the mushroom sauce too and that was so yummy with the schnitzel! The potatoes and slaw were very good too, loved how refreshing the slaw was!! You would never think to look for this kind of food in Daytona of all places, but it's definitely worth a stop! If I had anyone dining with me, I could see getting a few dishes to split because of how large the schnitzel was. Wonderful place with great service and delicious food, just wish I was able to try those rogis!

We came for lunch and honestly didn't want to leave. Our server Brooke was the kind of person who makes a restaurant great. Attentive, upbeat, and genuinely welcoming from the moment we sat down. She had great energy and made our whole group feel taken care of without ever being intrusive. Ask for her if you can. The food was outstanding. We ordered the ahi tuna pizza -- a crispy flatbread topped with fresh raw tuna, avocado, sesame seeds, and a drizzle of spicy aioli and teriyaki glaze. It was stunning to look at and even better to eat. The blackened fish sandwich came loaded with fresh toppings and paired perfectly with the golden fries. The grilled chicken tacos were generous and well-seasoned with a mango salsa on the side that really popped. We also got the coconut shrimp -- beautifully fried with a honey mustard dipping sauce -- and our little one loved the chicken bites and fries. Don't skip the gator bites either -- a true Florida experience, perfectly crispy and served with a honey mustard that kept us reaching for more. Everything tasted fresh, like it came straight off the boat. We toasted the afternoon with margaritas on the rocks and honestly couldn't imagine a better setting -- salt-rimmed cups, ocean breeze, the sound of waves just a few feet away. Yes, the prices are a step up, but when you factor in that you're sitting steps from the beach with food this fresh and a view like this, it's worth every penny. If you're passing through Daytona, make a point to stop in -- you won't regret it.

While my wife and I found a number of casual restaurants on the Yelp app to try, this place succeeded in bringing us here by its menu selection. We seated ourselves and the server welcomed us and brought over menus. She was helpful and friendly through the entire meal. Because I had previewed the menu, I quickly chose "da Nachos. My wife chose the Original Dancer sandwich. Wow! The flavors in both our dishes hit our tastebuds to easily say we'd return here. For "da Nachos", the thin sliced sirloin combined with the jalapeño, sautéed mushrooms, melted cheese, chipotle and garlic aioli was like "music" in my mouth (if there could be such a thing!). I greatly appreciated how the chips stood up to all the juice and condiments. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her fully-packed sandwich, and the side of cucumber salad was light, yet tasty and satisfying. We met and talked briefly with the owner who was a nice chap. One last note. The interior from about the kitchen back was littered with boxes of miscellaneous items. We don't know if they had run out of space in back or if it always was cluttered. Additionally, we noticed a smell, like cleaning solution further into the place. Don't let these last two items deter your visit here. Check out the menu, and order food. Just know you might want to consider eating outside or getting takeout.
