Fine place, but I'd stick to drinks here. We stopped in on a chilly day for a quick lunch. Kat took care of us, and the experience was fine. Nothing special. Salad was fine, my friend got salmon and said it was bad. I did enjoy the blended drink!! Unfortunately the experience was ruined when I was almost finished with my salad and found a full size receipt paper in my salad. It was the same color as the lettuce so blended in. Gross. Our server didn't seem to be that shocked. All in all, stick with drinks here.

Even though the place was very filled we got sitting in the first two seconds our server was overall really fast and kind the food was amazing!

Can't miss the big sign (facing the street). There's a small parking lot here too.

I make sure to visit this place anytime I'm in Daytona (usually once a year). The bartenders are straight up pleasant and helpful but also no-nonsense, the drinks are great and the food is fresh, with lots of seafood, burgers and salads, and way better than you'd expect from a beach shack. I usually get the Rasta Chicken Quesadillas or if i'm really hungry, the Tuna Boat, which comes cooked to order. I dig the relaxed island vibes of this joint, with sea-themed creatures and doodads hanging from the wooden walls and ceiling; the nautical touches makes it feel like you're on a boat. The view of the Atlantic just outside (you are right on the beach) drives that idea home. The bar slings your expected rum-based tropical drinks, party buckets and shots (they're a beach bar too) but there are good beer options and some wine choices as well. I usually sit upstairs, where you have big windows and better views; the downstairs area is more of a club feel. It's much darker down here, and it's where local bands perform most nights. 21 years and over after 8:30 for this space I believe, which has a separate entrance.

Walked in on a Friday night & ordered at the kiosk. Simple, easy, & ready quickly. The guy who gave us our cookies did the box check & they looked great. We live less than 10 minutes down the road. By the time we got inside the cookies were a MESS! The chocolate from the peanut butter blossom was melting & the blueberry compote was runny, so eating them was a chore. The overall flavors were pretty good, just slightly underbaked for the blueberry pie cookie. Personal favorites for us both were the s'mores & iced oatmeal, 5 stars! I think they should definitely bake them a bit longer (I understand carry over cooking, but they're too dense for that) & maybe wait a bit before icing them so they're not messy & don't mingle with the other flavors.

Food is great, ambiance is so demure and the service is great. everyone working there is always super nice and caring. I was a bit early for my pickup, and while I waited I was even offered a water. It smells so incredible in here that I was already so excited for my meal. I ordered the Polish plate, because it's my first experience trying Polish cuisine. I wanted an opportunity to try many different dishes, and this plate included Golabki, Potato & Cheese Pierogis, Potato Pancakes, and one Polish Sausage. A friend of mine raved about his mother's golabki for years, so naturally I started my meal with that. Wow, it was incredible! It almost reminded me of a spaghetti dish with its vivid tomato flavor. I really love that the roll holds together well when you're eating it with a knife and fork. I'm going to ask my friend for a recipe because it seems like it would be a good go to meal. I think my next favorite item was the polish sausage. I do enjoy eating sausages, but sometimes I'm just not a fan of how some are seasoned. That wasn't a problem with this polish sausage, because it was delicious and flavored just to my liking. Now pierogis I have tried before, and I'm not sure if they are polish origin or a neighboring country, but I have always enjoyed them. These cheese and potato pierogis were exactly as I expected them. They were cooked well and stuffed with filling. I shared a few with my nephew who is a bit picky, and to our surprise he was enjoying them. I would definitely give another flavor option a try! The final item was the potato pancakes and I think they were cooked well, but I think I would have preferred a little more salt to bring out the flavor. I plan to research Polish food after this visit and see how each dish is usually eaten. There were 3 condiments that accompanied my meal, but I didn't use them. For the most part, each dish was delicious all on its own. The Polish plate is definitely enough to share between 2 people, and you'd probably have just enough room for dessert as well. I know the pistachio cheesecake will definitely see me, if I find myself in the Daytona beach area again! Thank you Dill Schnitzel & Pierogi House for an amazing first experience with Polish cuisine!

What a fun find! I was in town for a career fair and my friend said I should check this place out…read more It's in a bit of a weird spot in a mostly chain restaurant shopping area, but don't let that fool you! It was literally steps to the beach so that was nice to stroll out there before/after. After poking around some shops, I made my way upstairs to Dill! The place is cute and colorful! Loved the European decor! I was there on a Tuesday night and there were only 2 other tables sat so pretty dead at the time. Server was lovely, cheerful, and helpful! They don't have a full bar but do serve beer and wine so was able to get a glass of vino. I really wanted schnitzel and pierogies but unfortunately you can only get the pierogies by the dozen (unless you get the big combo meal which comes with 6 rogis and a shit ton of other food). Problem was, I had a 6am flight the next morning so no way I would be able to eat any leftovers. I asked if there was ANY way I could just get like 2 rogis and she unfortunately said no (I totally get it, but maybe add smaller options in the future!). So I went with a cup of borscht soup and the pork schnitzel. The soup was served hot (I've only ever had it cold) and was very good! The schnitzel was legit the biggest schnitzel I've ever seen in my life and it's a GOOD THING I didn't get rogis in addition to it lol. I immediately cut it in half and was only able to eat that much. I got the mushroom sauce too and that was so yummy with the schnitzel! The potatoes and slaw were very good too, loved how refreshing the slaw was!! You would never think to look for this kind of food in Daytona of all places, but it's definitely worth a stop! If I had anyone dining with me, I could see getting a few dishes to split because of how large the schnitzel was. Wonderful place with great service and delicious food, just wish I was able to try those rogis!

The new owners immediately made facility changes that vastly improved the look and feel of the shop. Not only new flooring, but the display cases, reach-in coolers, furnishings and other customer comforts. They "tidied up" the place and fixed stuff - exactly what was needed. They also expanded the existing menu without taking a blow torch to it. From my interactions with the staff, it was pretty obvious the owners were wanting to learn more about downtown Daytona, their legacy customers, and the changing market. Changes they made were mostly tweaks, all seeming to be received positively. Since the new year, it's obvious Serra Doce is leveraging all they've learned and have made major changes and improvements. They seem all in. There is now a brunch and à la cart breakfast and amazing sandwiches, pastries and fresh fruit offerings. Truly, Serra Doce has retained the best of why I've always enjoyed my coffees at this location, and expanded my choices with really amazing food offerings. The service is great. It's tough to keep staff these days, and like any regular place I go to, I do see new faces. But old ones too. All of my interactions have always been wonderful. It's why I come back. And it's still an affordable spot and, MOST IMPORTANTLY dog friendly and welcoming.
