I'm really happy to finally have a CAVA location here in Daytona. Before this opened, I only had the chance to try CAVA when I was in certain areas of Orlando, so having one closer to home has been exciting. I love CAVA's menu concept--Mediterranean-inspired bowls, pitas, and wraps built around fresh, flavorful ingredients. Everything feels vibrant and customizable, and I really appreciate that they rotate and introduce new menu items from time to time, which keeps things interesting even if you order often. My current favorite is the build-your-own bowl with the harissa chicken. It's consistently flavorful, perfectly spiced, and pairs well with so many of the toppings and sauces. The food quality itself has been very consistent every visit, which is why I keep coming back. That said, I do think there's room for improvement on the customer experience side, especially for first-time guests. While there are sticker menus posted along the line that explain the items, employees often rush customers through without picking up on cues that someone may be new or unsure. I've found myself directing people in line to the menu signage so they could read descriptions because staff weren't taking the initiative to explain what items were. I also brought two people with me on separate occasions, and both felt rushed. My husband ordered the curated spicy chicken and avocado wrap, but when he sat down, it literally contained just chicken and avocado--nothing else as described on the menu. When he questioned it, the interaction made him feel like he was inconveniencing the staff, which was disappointing. Since this is still a newer location, I'm hopeful these service-related issues will improve over time, especially because the food itself is solid and well-executed. I do want to give a huge shoutout to Christina. I actually asked for her name because she consistently stands out as friendly, patient, and genuinely helpful. She is the first person I've ever seen at this location offer a sample when someone was unsure about an item, and she took the time to explain what things were without rushing. That kind of service makes a big difference and really elevates the experience. Overall, I'm glad CAVA is now in Daytona and will continue to return for the fresh ingredients and bold flavors--especially that harissa chicken. With a bit more focus on customer guidance and consistency in preparation, this location has the potential to be excellent. read more

I'm so glad we have a location in Daytona Beach now! Despite the incredibly long lines the staff do an amazing job keeping up with all the demands during peak times. During my visit the food came out fast, fresh and furious! The menu is varied, healthy and sophisticated. A true Oasis from the typical offerings usually available in this town. I'm a big fan and highly recommend the spicy harissa lamb Kibbeh meatballs. They are absolutely fantastic!! I had a salad with them made with super greens and arugula, that also included sweet pepper hummus, tzatziki sauce, crumbled feta cheese, fire roasted street corn and pickled red onion to name a few. I washed it all down with a blueberry lavender punch. OMG! How could your day go wrong? It was truly amazing and I can't wait to go back. FIVE STARS!! I absolutely love the new Daytona Beach CAVA location. I typically order a bowl with grilled chicken, arugula, olives, corn, cucumbers, tomatoes, and their amazing Crazy Feta dip, and it's always delicious! Everything tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful, and you can really tell their ingredients are made daily. Their food has a clean, fresh taste that feels much healthier than Chipotle, and the flavors are perfectly balanced. I also have to mention their pita chips with cinnamon and sugar -- seriously addictive! They're the perfect sweet snack to finish off the meal. The staff is always friendly, quick, and efficient, even when the line gets long. The restaurant itself is bright, modern, and spotless, with drinks easy to grab and refill. Awful... I'm never going here again. Manager verbally berated a young employee who was trying to take time off because their dad passed away and said they were making "bullshit excuses." The employee was nearly in tears. I don't want to give my hard earned money to businesses who think that kind of behavior from management is okay or how professional adults should act. I love CAVA and was so excited to finally have one nearby...and the food did not disappoint! So fresh and delicious with tons of choices, and the flavors really pop. Be sure to get the pita chips... absolute melt-in-your-mouth deliciousness! The team was genuinely friendly and seemed to work really well together, which was lovely to see and made the experience even better. This won't reflect in my star rating...especially since they're newly opened...but a little helpful feedback from our first visit: - Our booth was a bit dirty, which surprised me since we arrived super early and were likely among the first customers seated. - BYOB portions felt a little smaller than I remember. In all my life, I have never seen such a display of unprofessionalism and frankly, just disgusting behaviour from a so called manager. At 2pm on June 19th, I went to the CAVA at International Speedway blvd in Daytona Beach, FL for my lunch. Something I normally do every now and then but today made me never want to come back to a CAVA location. As I was eating my meal, I could overhear some manager, I think his name is Bobby? I'm not sure, he seems rather new. Or at least I'm unfamiliar with him. But he was berating one of the other employees behind the counter. His voice was raised and overly hostile to the point where you can clearly see how uncomfortable the female employee was. It honestly looked like she was on the verge of tears. I couldn't make out much of the conversation but it seemed like she was trying to get a day off to tend to her family after her dad passing away. This manchild of a manager replied with it must have not been that important and walked away. He also said something about her coming up with "bullshit" excuses. First all- to call someone's dad passing a bullshit excuse but to even curse at an employee should be unacceptable. Is this the type of environment CAVA upholds? That is an absolutely disgusting way to treat another human being. Especially considering how Father's Day is coming up. I can't imagine how hard it must be for the poor woman and for him to treat her like that is absolutely appalling. There is zero reason to treat anyone in the manner he did. He should be ashamed of himself. I have felt disgusted ever since I left that CAVA. I just don't understand how he is the manager. How is he able to manage his staff when he can't even manage his emotions. Frankly, if this is how he treats his employees, I am concerned about how he would treat me as a customer if god forbid there was an issue with my order. Again I couldn't leave this unsaid, my heart goes out to that poor employee. if you've had Cava from Orlando/Lake Mary, they fill your bowl to the top. this Cava only fills it about halfway. i've had it 4 times from this place and they've done this consistently. also the staff needs some work. condescending, impatient and sometimes rude. also, they're ALWAYS out of at least two things. staff is forced to say "welcome to cava" when anyone walks in, but they say it like they hate their jobs and would rather you not walk in so it sets a weird and unwelcoming tone. don't do pickup so you can see your portion sizes, know what you want when you walk in, and prepare to change your order because they're always out of something. tastes good, but not worth the money for the amount you get. read more

Heard about this place from a friend , went over and was deciding what to get .. unsure of what to get I asked. The server what they recommend , christin (I believe that was her name ) was my server and I asked her to give me her "to go ", I forgot what it was but it was a bowl ! And let me tell you OMG that bowl was so delicious !! Upon my visit christin and the cashier (forgot his name ). We're awesome and very. Helpful If yall see christin ask for the dealers special. , I highly doubt yall will dislike it !! The shop was neat and clean too!! Both these people deserve to be recognized and given a raise ! I have been going to Cava since its early years when it opened up in the DMV area. I was a long time Cava customer but sometimes you just gotta know when to put boundaries down. And this is my boundary. Placed a mobile order on the app. Arrived 10 minutes after the estimated time the app gave me and waited another 20 minutes for food I never received. Just kept getting told "it's coming." Watched them prepare and hand other mobile orders out but not mine. I can make a green and a grains bowl at home and roast my own veggies with that kind of time that i waited for mid overcooked veggies and tough meat. No thanks. I'll take my business elsewhere. There's plenty of Turkish restaurants and a new shawarma place on A1A who would love to have my $$ and will cook me a nice meal and provide great service. I had one of the most humiliating experiences ever at CAVA. While I was ordering, I felt like I was being treated differently because of how I look. An employee actually told me that I "look like I can't afford the food," which was shocking, degrading, and completely uncalled for. I was also made to feel judged for my weight through comments and looks that made me feel ashamed of my own body. No customer should be body shamed or talked down to, especially not while just trying to buy a meal. I left feeling embarrassed, anxious, and extremely unwelcome. I understand this location is fairly new, but this is the 3rd time I have gone into this location and they aren't taking cash. I have been told before to pay exact cash or whatever you pay with, they can give no cash back. I will be better off waiting and going to Cava when I am in Jacksonville or Orlando.
