The rating is about the total experience and uniqueness for the area. There is a stage side and eating side. The cool part is the music vibe infiltrated the booth I was at and made the experience perfect. The staff is awesome and the patrons were totally part of the experience! Super reasonable prices. The pizza is what I world call a bar pie but using great ingredients. I ate too much of the pepperoni pizza but it was totally worth it. This continues to be one of our favorite places to eat at when in Daytona Beach. The pizza is awesome! The dough is handmade with flour imported from Italy, which means it doesn't sit in your stomach like a rock. The sauce has a great tomato flavor with just the right balance of cheese. And, if you're lucky you might just get a slice of homemade NY style cheesecake. There's a full bar of beer, liquor and wine. Be sure to ask about a bubble drink! You won't be disappointed with the selection. Lastly, the owner is awesome! We've enjoyed getting to know him and love listening to his stories. BTW don't come in with an attitude. Great location, right off the beach, fantastic staff, very Friendly. Parking can be hard during busy times on beach but it is worth it .

My best friend and I came here to have girls night and just talk. Super friendly when you first walk in and we were helped and we got our drinks and a table and orders placed super fast! I've been here before so I've know the food is amazing but I had to bring my friend to taste for herself. We both got our own pizzas and pizzas to take home to our people. Misleading Hours - Wasted Trip I checked the hours before heading to Punk Rock Pizza, and it said it was open. When I arrived, the place was completely closed. No sign, no update online, nothing. Decided to pop in and try some pizza I haven't had before. All the reviews were great and now I see why. Grady is an awesome guy and makes a great pizza. All ingredients were sourced fresh unlike most pizza shops and the pizza was tremendously less greasy than most places making it great for people who get heart burn from too much grease like I do. The breadsticks were good and sauce was a nice balance to the seasoning. If you ask, Grady will happily tell you exactly what's in each item. Also for cooked to order food, it was served very quickly. The place is very deceptive. It doesn't look like much from outside and I honestly wasn't even sure if it was open at first but the bar looks great, bench seating was comfortable, and punk Christmas music a nice touch. It may not be the right pick for families with younger kids but that should go without saying. My boyfriend and I were on vacation when we visited this place. We walked a mile in the rain; excited to try this out. We both love Green Day and blink 182 so we were looking forward to the punk rock environment (music!) Once we arrived we were not greeted by anyone and the entire staff was sitting in the middle of the restaurant having a meeting. We had to seat ourselves because nobody said a word to us. Food was good but it was beyond rude and unprofessional to not greet/acknowledge us and to host a meeting during open hours. They could have moved to a quieter spot in the building and turned the music on low to enhance our experience but no one cared. Plus it seemed more like a family get together rather than an important work meeting. This was a huge disappointment and felt disrespectful of our time. Our lunch sitting on the hot pavement outside of Buccees was a better experience than this place. This was not very punk rock. read more
