Uhm....YUM. Best Pizza in Ormond Beach by far. So good. You have to try. I stopped by and got a slice of pepperoni and cheese and they were not only huge but they were thin but stilly airy the sauce and cheese was amazing the pepperoni had just the right amount of oil. Man so good.

While the patio is nicely designed and has comfy wicker chairs, the parking lot traffic does take a bit from the ambiance. But hey, how often can I dine outside in Florida without dying of heat or mosquitos or drowning in a downpour. They had a ton of delicious specials going but I like to try places for the first time based on my favorite dishes. However, I can't pass up octopus carpaccio and while it was delicious, the slices stuck to the plate which the waiter attributed to being outside where it warmed up. Next time, calamari for sure! I got the fettuccine bolognese as I'm still chasing a sauce that isn't just ground beef added to marinara. I'm happy to say it's the best bolognaise I've found in Central Florida! Their pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce was rich and not overly tomatoey or sweet like most places. It also was fully tossed so it clung to the noodles. Dad was in a pizza mood but was definitely temped by the veal chop special. He ended up with the all in pie and I knew it was a winner when he ate the crust. He's very picky about crust and this hit the mark on texture and taste! So yes, the love this group has for Don Giovanni is real and if you haven't tried it I definitely recommend it!

First off, the restaurant is a lot larger inside than you would think seeing it from the outside. The colors are warm, the seating either bar, high tables, tables or booths. And, at the end of our dinner the restaurant was full, but it wasn't noisy. All of the staff were very friendly. We were promptly seated in one of the booths and perused the menu. We were offered a choice of bread or garlic bread. We opted for the garlic bread. Soft, warm, with just the right amount of garlic and butter. We started with the stuffed artichoke. I think we would have liked it better if the artichoke were a bit more "meaty." Most of the leaves were just breading with a sliver of artichoke. We were then brought our dinner salads. They were large. Lots of fresh ingredients. You could almost make a meal of just the salad. My husband had the lasagna which came with a meatball, and I had the Mario Combo which includes chicken parmesan and lasagna with a side of spaghetti. The servings were generous and hearty. The sauce very good. I judge Italian restaurants by their sauce, and this one was a nice thick blend of tomatoes and spices. What was interesting is that the spaghetti sauce seemed just a bit sweeter. We needed carryout containers for the leftovers and they packaged them very nicely. Took a star off for the stuffed artichoke which wasn't very flavorful. Also while the food was good, there was something almost sloppy about the presentation. Prices are about right, and you can get a discount if you sit at the bar or on the high tops... We'll come back again... we'll just make sure we're really hungry!

Service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious even though I had mine the following day. Ambiance was very pleasant except that our table was very close to the bathrooms. This is a small restaurant and we were walk ins so couldn't be too picky. My only complaint is that they don't have a bar which feels more comfortable when ordering food to go. Overall, an exceptionally good Italian place. We will definitely return whenever in the Ormond area.

It's easy to drive by this place, but it's really worth making the reservation or taking a chance to eat there. My Pappardelle was Wow , great! The vodka sauce was so yummy and the pappardelle was obviously house made. I tried some of the other pastas and they were also freshly made. What a difference! The seafood was very fresh. The carpaccio was nicely done and presented, a nice size for 2. The portions ere also generous. I mentioned the service earlier. At this place, they retrieve your used cutlery and plates and replace them after every course. I really like this because I don't like having to lick off my cutlery between courses. Between the white tablecloths, the excellent and attentive service and the freshness of the fare, you really feel welcomed into a bit of Italy. Nice ambiance. The wine list has nice choices at good prices. I had the Chianti at $12. Nice pours too.

The Rose Villa Southern Table and Bar was not just the best place I visited on a recent stay in the Port Orange/Daytona area, it's one of the best places I've eaten period and all I did was lunch. We stopped in without reservations but they found space for us outside on the front porch. It was right after Christmas and I have rarely seen a restaurant do it better. Cotton in the trees and bushes to simulate snow, classic Holiday decor everywhere you looked. Every detail was amazing! Inside was like stepping into 19th century home that was elegant and regal. The only thing better than the atmosphere was the food. Our Pork Belly Bruschetta was elegantly presented and just melted in your mouth. Salty, sweet, robust, just incredible and a great recommendation from our waiter. My wife and I split the Shrimp Po Boy along with a Chicken sandwich and there were both just next level compared to anytime we've had these before. If you're in the area, if you're within an hour, if you want to do a day trip, build it around the Rose Villa Southern Table and Bar. I can't wait to try their dinner. and bring others to enjoy this truly top-notch dining experience. This is what dining out should be. I highly recommend you give them a try.
