It was a thick crust and locally sourced ingredients. It was fresh, the sauce had a great flavor. They even had things like dipping sauces like a hot honey sauce, which was fantastic. One of my daughters had a shrimp Caesar salad salad that she said was amazing. (warning: it's raw shrimp, not grilled or anything which is fantastic, but just so you know). My other daughter had lasagna and she said it was delicious. I had the pepperoni pizza and my wife had the ham and cheese pizza. With some crushed red pepper and hot honey sauce I ate every bit of it. Also, they had delirium beer, which helped wash it down perfectly. Five stars? I give it six or seven if I could. Not only was it pleasant to look at, the selections included three types of cheeses, olives, chickpeas, sweet grapes, and more. So delish to see and eat! Everything was so delectable and pleasing to the eye. My friend had the lasagna that she thoroughly enjoyed. She said that having the white sauce instead of tomato was new. She mentioned that it was seasoned perfectly. She, too, enjoyed the board and had Brie for the first time. The service initially was okay. Our server was new to being part of the serving aspects. Lauren was our very first bartender and immediately made us feel like regulars. Mike introduced himself that first evening while we were trying to navigate the parking lot (which can definitely fill up quickly during dinner hours, a testament to how popular Craves is!). We started out enjoying the upstairs bar before eventually finding our home downstairs. The bar staff is truly what sets Craves apart. Courtney, Emily, Monica, Bonnie, and Stephanie are all outstanding, and Lindsay has been an amazing addition to the team. Every visit is filled with friendly faces, great conversation, and exceptional service. Joe greeted us on our first visit and escorted us upstairs to the bar. He immediately noticed my husband's Philadelphia Eagles hat, and discovering they were both Eagles fans was an instant connection that made us feel even more at home. The food is simply incredible. In all the times we've dined here, we have never had a bad meal. In fact, whenever friends or family visit from out of town, Craves is always at the top of our list, and they consistently tell us it's some of the best food they've had.
