The employee at the counter was nice. After ordering a sausage and pepper sub, I paid cash and noticed a 3.5% service fee on the receipt. I did not see a sign and certainly wasn't notified of this service fee. When asked what this fee was the young lady had no answer except our computer adds it on. Expect hidden ghost fees, which are also subject to sales tax. The sandwich looked good, but once I saw under the cheese I realized the sausage and peppers were low quality pizza topping ingredients. Had not been back to Tony's for a while, and I am surely NEVER going back. As usual, most of the tables were dirty. Sat down to eat the last piece of cheese pizza (thin slice) with a Cesar salad. I did not order the combination because I do not drink soda late in the afternoon. Menu reads $3.25 for slice of cheese pizza, and $5.00 for a Cesar salad. Also ordered the garlic bread. Young waitress asked if she should bring out the food with the garlic bread, and I replied that it was okay to bring as it came out. Big mistake. My daughter and I finished our meals without the garlic bread. I asked for the check and said that we would not be needing the garlic bread. "Oh, but it's coming out ..." It was boxed because my daughter wanted it, after all. When I looked at the receipt, I noticed that I was charged $10.50 for the combination meal. I mentioned that would it not be cheaper to pay for the small slice and salad separate. Young waitress replied, "No because with tax, it's more expensive." She claimed that the thin slice of pizza is $5.00, although I looked at the menu. Maybe the young waitress needs to learn basic math because even at $5.00 for a slice of cheese plus a $5.00 Cesar, you do not get to $10.50. Bill included a $0.79 service fee, or as the young waitress explained to customer, it is a mandatory restaurant fee. Luckily, I had some points to redeem to offset the overcharge and the disgusting garlic bread that had absolutely no garlic taste and was extremely soggy. My dogs loved it. Moved to the area last year - finally had a chance to check out Tony's Pizza! Ordered a couple of pies last week for takeout, and they were fantastic! The best pizza I've had in Flagler/Palm Coast! Thin crust, super-fresh toppings, and amazing flavor! The service was GREAT - I cannot recommend them enough! Will be coming back soon! Didn't event get to try the food this time. Last few times I've been here ticket times have been slow, and items have been missing (bread, lemons, garlic butter) and I've had to alter my order accordingly. Today went In and waiting an hour and not a single part of my order was even ready. I saw several people come in, order, and walk out before our food was even In The oven. Very sad and poor service as our waiter said "I don't know what they are doing back there" when I can literally see the back of house staff. So I have gone here in the past and not had a huge issue and the food has always been good however this time we decided to order on the website and go and pick it up as this place is actually quite a distance away (around 15 minutes) when I arrived to pick it up they said it would be about 8 minutes more ( it was supposed to be ready at 6pm and I arrived at 6:15pm) the guy making the orders seemed stressed and overwhelmed, and when they said my food was ready it was the wrong order and it was someone else's, they had my ticket but had no explanation as to why it wasn't made or ready. I received my money back and left angry and scrambling for another option for our dinner, thankfully Marcos in palm coast provided. Absolutely no excuse for this, if you can't handle online ordering or DoorDash orders as a small business then don't offer the service! I make my own pizza at home in Nashville so I'm a tough critic. We ordered a large pizza with thin dough. I thought $31 was a bit high but ok. The dough was not thin and could have cooked further. Everyone says the pizza is good, so I tried it again. I called, but they could not find my credit. So, after getting everyone to agree and have it delivered, I ordered online again. Bad move -We got the wrong pizza again. I can't say the pizza is bad because we did not want what we got, so that ruins your perspective. We were very please with the options Tony's Pizza offered and definitely could finish an entire pie in one sitting. We opted on ordering the Sausage and Onion pizza (he's a big fan of that combo) and I asked for a small Greek salad on the side. To our surprise, both were served with generous portions and toppings! My Greek salad has plenty of fresh greens, feta and even sliced ham! It was about 3PM in the afternoon on a Sunday, we had the whole place to ourselves, but we didn't mind! We noticed a lot of orders were being picked up to-go versus dining in as we were. The seatings were a-plenty! To start, we had just left from a horrible experience with a different pizza place near the beach. We were looking for a new place to grab some pizza that was also dog friendly (outdoor seating). We came across this place and we're blown away by the cleanliness before we even walked in the door. Now, about the pizza, we unexpectedly ordered a jumbo pizza which was about half the size of our table, but now that I think of it I don't think it was much of a mistake but more of a blessing. My partner is a long time PC resident, and has been ordering their chicken Parmesan sub for almost a decade and constantly raves about it when we're in town. Upon visiting to host a yard sale, and staging at the Topaz Hotel up the street, we decided to pick up dinner around 7pm. We placed the order and about 45 minutes later, we sit down to watch American Horror Story and chow down on our Italian feast. I ordered the spaghetti with meatballs, which was a nostalgic choice, but definitely not the best one. It had a thick layer of melted cheese on top, which I can see why some would like this, but to me it felt like a pasta version of the sub my partner was eating next to me. I've never seen melted cheese on top of a pasta and meatball dinner. Have I missed something? I scooped it off, and was left finally able to enjoy the meatballs, which I certainly did. (I took the photo after I had removed the cheese layer) The pasta was cooked perfect as well. Sauce did taste like it was store bought, like I've had it before. Generic I'd say, or maybe I'm just a tough critic when it comes to Italian food. Overall it gets 3/5 stars. The chicken parm sub was 5/5 stars according to him. I also ordered garlic bread and pasta fagioli soup, in which the soup I did not get to try. The garlic bread was good, but over cooked. On a grander scale, this place was good. They were busy, but the food was still warm upon arrival back to the hotel. I would try the pizza next time, it seems to be their niche. My biggest issue was the containers, styrofoam and the metal ones that you fold the sides down to hold the lid in place. This left is with no way to heat up our food, which was disappointing because so much was leftover. It was by far the most food I've ever wasted, and I'm embarrassed to say. I know it's more costly for sustainable or higher quality take out containers but it's worth it. The piece of mind it brings knowing there's no chemicals seeping into the food, and it helping the environment (if choosing recycled, post consumer or biodegradable). Wow! This was a seriously well made and delicious pizza we got last night from Tony's in Flagler. I'm a very finicky person and everything was perfect on our take out order. The crust was freshly baked with just the right amount of crispness. I love spicy Italian food and the Meatza large pizza we chose was the best pizza so far I've had in Flagler since we moved here last year.
