This place was actually so good. We got the famous Cheezeesteak on rye bread with macaroni salad. So good. I'd totally get it again but with white bread tbh. The macaroni salad was real good too it had dill but I thought it was a nice balance. Their "coleslaw" was also surprisingly good. I like a creamy slaw but theirs was vinegary but I liked it. I'd call it a cabbage salad over coleslaw though. We also got the cowboy burger which was super good too. The potato chips honestly weren't my favorite. Too homemade if that makes sense. I ordered a cherry cheesecake dessert sandwich and a cowboy burger sandwich. Both were made to order, fresh. The coleslaw served with the burger was the best I've ever tried, and I normally hate coleslaw. The Mac and cheese side that came with the burger wasn't hot enough for me but I microwaved it when I got home and it was delicious. It was a family ran business with excellent customer service. Great place along the beach up in Ormond that I've never been to before. Very surprised that it wasn't packed during spring break, but it was busy. Doing our best to support these small businesses at a time when many are getting less business than normal. My husband and I love a good grilled cheese shop, so we had to try this one when we were staying in Ormond for the night. The restaurant was pretty empty, so we were helped quickly - ordered at the counter and waited a little shy of ten minutes for our food. I got the bbq pork and my husband got the cowboy burger. Both were equally delightful. Obviously cooked to order. Crispy fries on the side made this a super well rounded and tasty meal. Only thing we didn't like was the mac & cheese, it was honestly pretty bland, which shocked us from a restaurant with cheese literally in the name. Would definitely stop here again!
