This place hits the spot!! It's family owned and they offer amazing grilled cheese varieties. I had the Big Cheezee which was fresh with the tomato, lettuce, and avocado with delicious tomato soup while my boyfriend had the pimento macaroni sandwich with very good and crispy fried. Our first impression was there are very few parking spaces so, we couldn't find a place to park. We had wanted to dine in but i decided to order take-out. There was only one lady taking orders and delivering orders to tables & pick-up customers. This made the wait to order extremely long. Once I ordered, it took a very long time to get the food. The sandwich was ok. The cup of macaroni & cheese was dry and didn't have much flavor. The tiny condiment cup of coleslaw was very disappointing. Very overpriced for the quality. They have a large menu and a screen show with pictures of all the sandwiches. Can be a little overwhelming...I chose the Cuban and was pleasantly surprised. Hot, well presented, stuffed with meat, cheese, pickles, mustard and mayo. It was wonderful and dripped down my arm. You will use lots of napkins. Fries were hot and plentiful. Coleslaw was a surprise, but really good. It is vinegar based and had jalapeños in it. Took me by surprise, but I ate every bite of it. Im a hvac service tech who works beachside often and whenever i get the chance, i always stop in and grab a seat to devour an amazing grilled cheese. whether its their special they have or a chicken parm cheese, even the all american is awesome with some tomato soup on the side. sometimes its hard to move afterwards but it motivates me to keep going and i never get sick after eating it. always is the perfect portion. Tracy and the whole staff are some of the nicest people ive ever met. i highly recommend coming here with friends or the family! It was full or real smoked turkey and Brie plus a helping of cranberry on crunchy grilled bread. I ordered the chips and slaw which were homemade and yummy! Who makes potato chips in house anymore? My aunt took me here while I was in town since it's one of her favorite spots. She is gluten-free and the bread they have doesn't sacrifice in flavor or texture. She got the baconator and I got the chicken fajita sandwich and they were SO good! I usually am not a big cheese person, but they do a great job with the sandwiches since they remind you a little of a childhood favorite while enhancing it with great flavors and yummy toppings! They also have great sides - especially the fries!! It's a small joint that's run by dedicated people who care and want to provide a yummy dining experience, and you can tell when you chat with the owners while dining there. I will start off by pointing out all the positive things about this cute little café. Positive the sweet tea is good the bread is nicely toasted and crunchy the coleslaw about a six but was not impressed with the Cuban I had.. also had a chance to try the cheesy steak it was better than the Cuban but had this greasy oily taste . I'll start this review with walking in. We were promptly greeted and she told us all about the menu. After several minutes trying to choose we finally ended up with The Hawaiian, the Goobler, the Farmer, and the French Dip. Not a single one of us regretted our choice. Most of us had the soup (grilled cheese needs tomato soup) and one Mac and Cheese. Again, absolutely no regrets. The taste and presentation made this a great value for the dollar. The decor is fun. It is simple but memorable and we enjoyed reading the memes while waiting to have our food brought out. Overall a stellar dining experience. MY husband and I were out and about as we often do..We lived in the area for almost 4yrs..and have past this place nearly a billion times...I was in the mood for comfort food..So, we decided to give this place a try. But, the one thing I was surprised about is that the employees were not wearing mask and there didn't seem to be any social distancing rules in place? I referee the spicy pork grilled cheese with a bit of trepidation because I'm very picky about BBQ sauces and coleslaw. This sandwich was absolutely delicious!! The sauce wasn't too sweet which would have taken away from the grilled cheese. The pork was tender and the coleslaw was perfection! They had the option of rye bread which bumped it up several more notches. It tasted homemade and was perfectly crisp and buttery. The entire sandwich melted in your mouth.
