    Roasted Duck with Noodle Soup

Our waitress (with the blue hair) was so sweet and very attentive. We loved the atmosphere, it was so calming. Now THIS is authentic Thai cuisine. My husband and I felt so good after eating our dinner. It made our tummies feel warm and nourished. Wonderful prices too! So many Thai restaurants are overpriced and don't taste as good. We wish we lived closer because we would be back every week!

Came here on accident for a snack passing it on us 1 and glad we did. The host greeted us with the warmest smile just like our server did. We got the veggie sampler appetizer and it was tasty. Well be back for a full meal soon !

Decided to stop an try the new place. We had been to this location before but previously, it was a Mexican restaurant. So decided to try the new Thai restaurant. So glad we did. The food was good. The service was great and the restaurant was nice and clean. we tried the appetizers which was chicken sauté and eggrolls. Both were very good. I love the Thai tea there. It is my favorite. We also had pad Thai, but I didn't actually get pictures of that and it was good as well. They have great menus selections and the prices are good. You also get the great amount of food for the price. Go check it out.

We hopped up to Bunnell on a Thursday night after my husband got off work. Thai and I satisfied his Thai tooth and the service was great. The beer on tap was cold and fresh. This place used to be Mexican and they just updated the wall hangings. (I don't know if they changed the kitchen). You could tell. Although the place is relatively clean it could really benefit from a coat of paint and freshened tables and chairs. This place was impressively busy for a weekday early dinner. That's probably because of the food and service. We got papaya salad, shrimp in red curry, chicken in green curry and a noodle dish. The papaya salad was recommended by other reviewers so I was sure to try it. It was great! The curries were good. They came with rice. The sauce on the curries was thin. I like a little more coconut milk or other element to thicken the sauce so that it clings to the rice better. We got everything medium spicy and it was just right. The noodles were skinny like Singapore noodles. They were a bit spicier than the other items. The noodles were good, a dish we had not tried at other places. The food here is good. I would be inclined to get take out because of the interior.

Service was great! Very quick, polite, and friendly. The ambiance is relaxed and calm inside. Food was delicious- we tried the crispy rolls, pad thai, and bua loy dessert. The pad thai was moist and fresh. Crispy rolls were hot and crunchy. First time trying this dessert-- subtle coconut flavor, chewy and a little sweet. I loved it! Thank you!!

If I had to rate Thai and I based on the Papaya Salad alone, I would give it 5. Unfortunately, the other dishes we ordered were no comparison to the Papaya Salad. I was actually in shock, because some items I would guess were made by different chefs, at different restaurants! Which would lead to think the head chef needs to supervise what's leaving the kitchen. For starters, we got the veggie sampler. It had 4 little spring rolls, veggie tofu, scallion pancake and nice sauces to accompany it. It was good. The Pad Thai should not be so sweet that I literally taste the overwhelming flavor of sugar. This was a disappointment, especially considering the price and lack of protein. There were 6 very small shrimp. Ordered 2 phos, only brought 1. I should've checked my receipt to see if I was charged. They were sweet too, sooo sad. The flavor was good, but this place should really lay off the sugar. Im not trying to get diabetes. Lol! Ordered the seafood curry as well, thai hot and she looked at me like I was crazy, but had also ordered a shrimp salad 3 hot level out of 5 and it was sweet too! So I figured let me try the heat! They brought the heat, but it was also sweet! This place has huge potential and I really liked it, but when I go back ill be telling them to lay off the sugar!!!

I've now been here 4 times... and I'll admit - my wife and I have ordered the same thing each time, Massaman Curry with chicken and chicken Pad Thai. Clearly we like them. We brought our kids this last time and they ventured a little further out. My son ordered the drunken noodles with pork. The veggies were fresh, the pork was delicious, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. Gotta say I was a tad envious. My daughter ordered the house fried rice. It comes with chicken and shrimp. Before you say ... "boring, fried rice" - I'll tell you it was really good. I even contemplated ordering another to take home for lunch the next day. Fortunately, I ended up not having to because her portion was so large I just stole her leftovers. We also had the crispy spring rolls as a starter... just - ehh, but the "soft spring roll" was tasty.

We had been hearing people talk about Thai and I for a while and we were finally able to give it a try. We were not disappointed. We got the Thai and I sampler which was a great way to try the different rolls they had. Everything was tasty. My boyfriend got the pad Thai for his entree and he loved it! He has tried several pad Thais in the area and was beginning to think there just wasn't a good one around until he got the one from here. Said it was exactly what he'd been looking for! I got the Pad Won Sen with pork and it was sooo good! Sweet and savory in the best way. The restaurant was clean and inviting. The staff was very friendly. The food came out quickly and hot. We will certainly be back. Can't wait to bring my sister here when she comes in town this summer!

Very pushy waiter, felt rushed to order. Very little seafood in my spicy seafood rice dish. Wine was warm and had no flavor. Over priced.

I'm sorry, but I will never go back to this restaurant. It was my first and only time there, and…read morehere's why. (I would go to "Thai And I" in Bunnel, FL instead) 1. Instead of being greeted, I was just told to sit anywhere by a lady sitting at the bar on her laptop. I asked if they had a lunch menu (I arrived around 12 p.m.). The server said no, but they had specials. I looked at the board and it was almost impossible to read -- it honestly looked like a group of kids had gone wild on it with markers. After the first line, I thought, "Nah, I'm good." 2. I ordered the Tom Kha Gai and some spring rolls. My spouse got the Tom Kha Gai too. The rolls came out first. They were fresh, filled mostly with rice noodle and lettuce then anything else, I would think some Thai basil... nope so pretty bland. I'd give them a 2 out of 5. 3. Then someone else brought out my soup. I figured my husband's would come right behind it. Nope. We had to wait another 5 minutes for his to arrive. I ended up sitting there waiting because it's just rude to start eating without him. The soup itself was only about 8 oz, so making him wait that extra time for two identical orders with nothing different or substituted is unacceptable. 4. And the soup... it was literally the worst Tom Kha Gai I've ever tasted in my life. It tasted like they just poured hot water over a ton of chicken bouillon powder. (Same flavor as Top Ramen in the grocery store for 60 cents). There was zero lemongrass, no kaffir lime leaves flavor, no lime juice, no fish sauce, and no chili flavor at all. Just straight chicken base and water. The chicken pieces were dry dry as well like teeth smacking feeling. 5. Here's the real kicker: They serve the soup in those little melamine bowls with the small foot at the bottom -- the kind you usually only see around the rice or salad area of buffets. I go to scoop up some chicken broth and bump the side of the bowl. The second I put that little pressure on the bowls side, the whole bowl tipped over and spilled hot soup all over my lap and the table. Very easy to do. I jumped up and grabbed the first napkins I see, the server came over and handed me those cheap paper towels you find in elementary school bathrooms -- the ones that are brown, fall apart and don't absorb anything. Then (I'm assuming) the owner rushed over and snatched the napkins I had right out of my hands while I was trying to wipe the hot soup off my lap. The server looked embarrassed and said, "I'm sorry, but those are expensive napkins." Excuse me? I just had hot soup dumped all over me, and they're worried about a few napkins? It really showed how much they care about penny-pinching. They took away the napkins I was actually using and gave me the cheapest ones possible instead of even offering a hand towel. The fact that the soup tasted like nothing but watered-down chicken base suddenly made perfect sense. When you pinch pennies that hard, it eventually costs you your business. Sorry, but I will not be coming back to this restaurant ever again. I didn't care about the ambiance because of all the negative things that happened. Food: 1 out of 5 Service: 5 out of 5 (the woman who served us was actually quite nice) Being accommodating, 0 out of 5.

The restaurant is small and the decor is what I'd call cozy chaotic - lots of beautiful Thai shrines and figures, but then funky Christmas lights strung over whimsical photos. Don't let the "Reserved" tags on every table cause you concern, we and every party that came in after us were assured we could sit anywhere. We started with the Som Tam papaya salad at a medium and it had a perfect kick with the sour-sweet-funk punch of lime, fish sauce, rock sugar, probably some tamarind? It was fresh, cool and crunchy and a refreshing start to the meal. I had to try the Summer Breeze Rolls because I was actually first introduced to this restaurant by their stalls set up at various local farmers markets and the peanut sauce is out of this world, perfectly sweet and salty and a little curry spice kick as well. The rolls were wrapped a bit loose but I love that they grill the shrimp and also stuff mostly with lettuce instead of a ton of noodles so the rolls were more crisp than squish/starch. I got the panang curry medium and I think I could have gone a step up on heat but it was a nice mild burn that let the flavor of the sauce shine through. The veggies were crisp, the chicken tender, and I was happy with every bite. My father got the Lard Na 100 with crispy duck (a $10.50 upcharge but so worth it, so well cooked and crisp!) and loved it, just had no heat despite ordering it medium. I was impressed with the noodles - wide rice noodles but cooked firm so they didn't fall apart but had a delightful chew. The service was friendly, attentive, and super helpful with suggestions on heat level since we hadn't been before and didn't know if they pulled their punches (they don't, so start at a level below what you usually get elsewhere). We're now on a quest to eat our way through the menu!

I've traveled to places like New York, Orlando, Los Angeles, Chicago and Detroit to find some of the best Thai food, so I wasn't expecting to discover such a gem in Port Orange. I stopped into a small family-owned Thai restaurant and ordered one of my favorite dishes, Pad Prik King with beef, along with sticky rice and ice cream for dessert. From the very first bite, I was impressed. Their version of the Prik King was different from what I'm used to, featuring an extra ingredient that elevated the dish and made it absolutely phenomenal. I requested it moderately spicy, and they delivered a perfect level of heat--bold, flavorful, and authentic without overpowering the dish. The freshness of the string beans, the tenderness of the beef, and the rich, unique sauce all stood out. Every ingredient tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Then came dessert. Their homemade sticky rice served with ice cream completely exceeded my expectations. It was easily one of the best sticky rice desserts I've had, and I've visited a lot of Thai restaurants over the years. What made the experience even better was the warm hospitality.
