Hubby had a taste for some Pan Thai noodles and found the Kawa Sushi Restaurant nearby. After enjoying his noodles he was so excited for me to check out this 'new spot'. There are so many positives with this restaurant. #1. Their Thai Bubble Tea is DELICIOUS! #2. Their music was so calming and soothing - slow as well as contemporary. Need to know the station. #3. The staff is welcoming and attentive. #4. The restrooms are clean! Now that's important! Our server, Ella, was nice and courteous. She wanted to make sure, our meals were prepared to our liking. I don't eat spicy whereas hubby loves fire-breathing hot. My salad was fresh and tasty with the ginger dressing. Even though the restaurant has been around for 11 years, the food is excellent! You have choices on the level of heat and the numerous food selections. We have found another 'repeat' spot that makes us happy!

Absolutely delicious sushi (I had the King Dragon Roll and the Ginza Roll), phenomenally flavorful Japanese style beef noodle, and the basil dish was very tasty and spicy. I also had the Karo milk bubble tea, which tasted like cereal milk in the BEST way. The ambiance was perfect, like a peaceful haven. Our waitress was the sweetest, friendliest lady ever and made the experience even more wonderful. We will definitely return.

My husband and I were at a Airbnb in Palm Coast while having our place repaired. We decided to try Kawa Sushi for delivery. I ordered Spicy Tuna lovers roll, Tobiko Lava Roll, BOGO Holiday Roll and fried Gyoza. The order was delivered on time. The food was amazing very delicious! We will definitely order or visit this restaurant again!! Our atmosphere was great where we were staying and very much enjoyed the restaurants food!!

I honestly forgot to take a picture of my sushi but the BABY OCTOPUS was AMAZING!! It had so much flavor and it wasnt cheey or anything. I literally almost licked the plate from how good the sauce was. The service was really good. Our server was very friendly and she was telling us which dishes and Saki tatse the best. Ended up getting a mango sushi along with the baby octopus and the peach Saki 12/10. The ambiance was definitely like im IN that country.

This place is top rated in Palm Coast but it is truly a disaster! Especially when you pickup or get delivery it's even worse! Take a look at this Ichiban roll that was picked up for me tonight. Would you eat this?? I have had other items there in person which is a bit better but the atmosphere is dingy and service is unaccommodating. Their rice is meh and their fish is small and how's no wow factor. Went to Sushi House in St. John's and saw the difference big time in what's happening here in Palm Coast, which is there is no audience here that knows the difference between mediocre and lacking food to fabulous food and experience. But their food is unacceptable based on what we have received!!

There are so many great things I can say about this place. The hospitality was amazing. They greeted us we big smiles and were so sweet to my kids. Everything tasted amazing and very fresh. The hibachi was great too. Highly recommend coming here to get your sushi fix. They also have an aquarium that was a hit for my kids.

I actually really liked this place until today. Inside is quiet, clean and not too busy to enjoy lunch. BUT TODAY Miso soup tasted funny.! Teriyaki Chicken Lunch was okay. The lady at the front looks angry and not very welcoming. I was served my food and then I was given no utensils, when I asked for chopsticks, the lady yelled "FORK?!". It was embarrassing. I quickly finished, paid and left never to return.

Was super quiet, love sitting at the bar while they made the sushi. I would highly recommend the Hawaiian roll. The lobster roll the shrimp tempura roll and the dragon roll 100% the best sushi place we've been to in Palm Coast Florida have yet to discover the rest of Florida, but all in all fantastic service and food.

We can in for an early dinner and it was very nice and clean inside. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. We ordered 6 rolls, that took a little but that is understandable. Everything tasted amazing! The wasabi sauce was something I didn't think I was going to enjoy but it wasn't spicy at all. Highly recommend

Best Thai spot in Flagler county hands down!…read more Home like atmosphere and good customer service. I don't think you'll find a more authentic spot in Flagler county!

Thai & I - Bunnell…read more Ella--our daughter--has been craving Thai, so we made our way back to one of our go-to spots. She ordered the Thai Noodle Soup (pork), and she calls this her comfort food--her version of chicken noodle soup. When our family is sick, we crave chicken noodle... this is that for her. My husband and I always say we're going to try something new... and then we panic and order our usual favorites because we don't want to miss what we already know we love For him: Massaman Curry (chicken) + rice For me: Pad Thai (chicken tonight, but I've had it with shrimp before and loved that too) I'm a wimp when it comes to spice, so here's a little hack--order it low (I got a level 1 ) and then use the chili oil they can bring to the table to build your own heat. Total game changer. Service was a little behind tonight--it took a bit to get our drinks (just water and tea), but since we knew what we wanted, we ordered everything at once. Once the food hit the table, it came out fast, hot, and delicious. Staff is always friendly, and they handled a full house--multiple larger parties (8-12 people) plus all the regular tables--so it was definitely a busy night. Drinks took a minute, but everything else--from the food to the friendliness--more than made up for it. Atmosphere is casual--shorts, jeans, and business casual from people coming off work. We were seated immediately, and they have a good mix of booths and tables to accommodate different group sizes. Portions are solid. We all left with leftovers (which isn't always the case for us). Our daughter basically only had broth left because she loved it that much--she's already planning round two tomorrow by adding noodles and protein. On a normal night, we'd finish everything and be completely full, but tonight we stopped at satisfied instead of stuffed. Pricing: about $16-$17 per plate Appetizer must-order: scallion pancakes. You don't know what you're missing until you try them. We could easily eat 50... but you get about 8 Location is just off US1 in Bunnell--an unassuming building with a gem inside. Watch for the signage or you might miss it. Reliable, flavorful, and one of those places we keep coming back to--especially when the craving hits.

Mee ka thung w/beef and shrimp (upgrade charge $3), banh hoi, 1/2 lb of crispy roast pork, beef sticks, with drinks. Sprite and Vietnamese coffee. Mee ka thung: 0/5 do not recommend. It was bland. No taste. No charring of the noodles. The egg was overly cooked and we added that as an extra. The shrimp and the beef tasted off. It was fishy. Banh Hoi: 1/5 would recommend. Only good thing was the sweet fish sauce it came with. The pork belly was meh. Didn't have flavor. Tasted not fresh. Not crispy. Crispy pork belly: 0/5 do not recommend. The pork belly wasn't crispy. Tasted like they had it out for awhile and basically warmed it up when we ordered. The skin wasn't crispy. It was chewy. No flavor. No nothing. Did not taste fresh. Beef skewers: 0/5 do not recommend. Again, no flavor. No fatty pieces to counter the dryness of the meat. Nothing. The worst part. There were no pickled veggies. If they knew their skewers were dry, they should definitely have pickled veggies to off-balance the dryness. The only 2 good things that were good was the Vietnamese coffee and the fish sauce that came with the banh Hoi. Service was mediocre. Had to grab our own silverware from a near by table. Had to ask for plates. Had to ask for refills for our water. They didnt come around to check on us. We actually to wave them down. I don't live in the area, but even if I did, I wouldn't be back.

The gyoza was very average - the pieces were relatively void of any discernible protein filling. The sashimi pieces were all a nice size and tasted fresh. Not much to say about miso soup - it's pretty much the same everywhere. But the salad was a pleasant surprise. Most restaurants put very little effort in preparing such a basic dish. Wild Ginger's salad was cold, crisp, and fairly generous. The hibachi steak was served hot. The amount of steak we received was definitely on the small side. The fried rice was moist and tasty. Next time, more meat please. Service was very good. Our server was a tall young guy who was enthusiastic, prompt, and proactive - he followed up with drink refills without us having to wave him down. Eclectic place with pretty good food…read more Mrs and I enjoyed dinner there recently. We shared the escargot and it was delicious. Mrs liked the lobster ravioli and I had a decent steak

**Where do I even begin?**…read more We were visiting from out of town and made a reservation based on the website, which looked like it promised a five-star dining experience with a side of class. Spoiler alert: the only thing five-star about this place was how fast we wanted to leave. The red flags started immediately. The "ambience" was giving post-hurricane garage sale. And then the owner--dressed like a retired Jersey Shore cast member with a sad top-knot ponytail clinging to its last follicle--yelled from across the bar, "Welcome to the best restaurant in the county!" That was the first of many lies. We were squeezed six people into a table for four, even though there were plenty of empty tables, which we assume were reserved for ghosts or maybe just the owner's ego. Alcohol selection? Oh, just the finest! We asked for the beer list and were told there were *two* options. When we inquired about wine, the sommelier (a.k.a. the same server who forgot napkins, silverware, and the will to live) said, and I quote, "Red or white." That's not a wine list--it's a personality test. We were handed four sticky, mismatched menus with half the items violently Sharpied out like they'd been caught cheating on a test. At this point, most people would've made a break for it, but not us! No, we stayed. Because we're the kind of people who touch the stove *twice* just to be sure it's hot. We ordered the ahi tuna, escargot, and baked brie. The tuna came out looking like four sad, paper-thin slices of regret. No seasoning. No garnish. Not even a pity drizzle of sauce. Just raw fish, alone on a plate, contemplating its life choices. It tasted like someone froze a fish stick in 1993 and just now remembered to serve it. The escargot? Imagine rubber bands soaked in lukewarm garlic water. Now imagine paying money for that. The baked brie? Honestly, I blacked out at that point so I can't even tell you. After this culinary fever dream, we signaled for the check. That's when the owner reappeared, pants unbuttoned (WHY?!), and said--and this is 100% real--"Did I pissed you off?" Sir, the only thing more offensive than your grammar is your restaurant. We smiled, nodded, and lied that we had somewhere else to be, mostly because we feared telling the truth would end in a full-blown Jersey brawl in the parking lot. Final verdict: Never going back. You shouldn't go either. Save yourself. Go eat a gas station hot dog. Trust me--it'll be better.
