The Pork Katsu was like eating fried breading they may have had a sliver in there but really couldnt see anything. Complete waste of 60 bucks it was a reminder why we symtay home and cook! PS they made me add a star to post my review read more

Such friendly, welcoming staff and clean restaurant! Started with vegetable tempura that must be hand dipped and fried in a light tempura batter. So crisp - the best I've had in a long time. Soups and salad were fresh and tasty. The assorted fish in my Chirashi was great and well prepared. Nice presentation. My husband's rolls were just as delicious. We will definitely return to try more of their tasty sounding cuisine! read more

I wanted sushi and saw Fancy sushi had good reviews. I was seated immediately and given a menu. I selected the crunch roll and shrimp fried rice. The roll came out first. It was fresh and full of flavor. When the rice came out I was underwhelmed by the presentation. I'm glad I didn't judge it off of looks alone. It was so good. The rice was delicious and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. I will be back when in the area. read more

I recently got an amazing takeout order the other night! Here we are 4 days later and my family is still talking about the outstanding flavors of fresh sushi rolls and sashimi. I ordered through their website and it was self explanatory and simple. Plenty of places to include notes. The sushi boat for 3 was presented beautifully in one large party tray. We got a second tray and all additional assorted rolls were in there. The hot food items (soup and fried rice) were packed separate. They even helped me to my car! They also provided plenty of ginger, soy sauce and wasabi. What pleased me most is they accommodated a menu item change and request. Everything was perfect! We will be back! Try the sweet potato roll! It's an amazing way to finish the meal. read more

We have been here a decent handful of times, and every single thing we've tried has been exceptional, down to the fried rice! The sushi is especially excellent. A bit pricier, but worth it. read more

Their habachi is not very good. I don't understand why you serve noodles with rice. The rice is not fried rice as advertised. I won't go back read more

Food was good but not great like few months ago. Still the place to go. We haven't order from here in a while so we can tell something changed. read more

Great sushi and great variety. Have not been disappointed with all the different rolls we've ordered. We'll continue going!

I don't like to give negative reviews because maybe the servers are having a bad day. Maybe the chef was. Who knows. The service was not bad, but it was slow and there were only two people in the restaurant. The food left something to be desired. I found it a little bland for my taste. I'd be willing to try it again just to see if maybe I was wrong. I thought it was kind of pricey for what you got. The ambience wasn't bad was bright not dark like some similar restaurants. read more

Been going in here since 2015 moved outa the area in 2017 but when we work out here I stop and get us holiday rolls 1 order for each person. Normally it's 3 orders not sure when but now no matter how many orders you get they only give you one cup of yum-yum sauce. So now 3 adult men have to share a 2oz cup is sauce. I see why the Ormond restaurant closed now. I understand I'm not in there weekly anymore but still went outa our way to go here guess we have to find something new.... So sad read more

Fancy Sushi is a good place for lunch, with fair prices for Hibachi or sushi specials. You get a bowl of soup and ginger salad as an appetizer with you lunch. The sushi tasted great and my wife's vegetable hibachi was delicious. Definitely come here for lunch if your in the area, dinner is a little more pricey and not the same bang for your buck. read more

When I first walked in it looked like a typical Japanese sushi restaurant. The furniture looks old, well used. I was greeted by two waitresses who were extremely polite and took me to my seat. She brought me my drink, a soup, and a roll they were trying. It was actually really good too. My order of two rolls came out pretty quick. My waitress was on point and knew when to come for a fill of my drink or to remove plates. Very respectful and made the journey especially comforting. I am also trying a new roll they posted called the flamethrower. It has shrimp tempura, avocado, cream cheese, topped with conch, and spicy crab on fire. I will say the flamethrower rocked. It was actually set on fire and when the games went out it was melted and so nice to eat. This roll made my day. The prices seem pretty expensive for the portion size, but in today's day and age things cost a ton more than they should. I will say it is not a bad little place, pretty quiet and my style. read more

Very fresh sushi and the side of rice was perfect. Cannot wait to try their other sushi options.

Best sushi! Good service. Food arrives quickly. We drive across town to get it. Best in town.

I love the variety of menu options here! It's an added bonus that it is so close to my house! I love sushi and they have a great variety of rolls, nigiri, and sashimi to choose from. They also have Hibachi, Teriyaki, and Katsu (panko breaded & fried) entree options for those that don't like sushi. The decor is modern and beautiful and the restaurant is clean. I'm very happy with the staff here and have gotten to know them over time. This is very important to me because I have an allergy to both avocados and mangos. The staff have been very accommodating and I no longer fear cross contamination when ordering my food. The website is easy to navigate and useful for placing pickup orders. read more

We had a wonderful night at Fancy Sushi tonight. We started with a N/A Bevs for three of us and I had the house bottle of saki. We ordered these shrimp dumplings that I don't remember the name of, but they were perfect. We ordered five or six rolls for the table and a sushi platter and I everything was incredibly delicious. Presentation was spot on for each roll, vibrant in color and plating. Flavor was top notch. Very happy there is another sushi place to go to here in Palm Coast! read more

Selene is very rude, she screams at her workers, she is very disrespectful. Food was not as good. I heard her scream at her worker the other day. Will never be coming here again. I don't need to hear her scream at her workers while I'm having my dinner. food was horrible quality and not fresh. read more

In an area where healthy eating options were limited with the likes of Dunkin Donuts and Pizza Hut taking up all of the air space, Fancy Sushi met my expectations of providing a quality product with sufficient nourishment. Interestingly enough, the experience started off slow, yet got better as time marched along during this evening dining experience. Upon arrival, the female hostess had quite a bit of to-go orders that she was processing. 7-8 minute wait as a result. After being seated at the bar, yet another 7-8 minute wait until a server finally arrived. I contemplated walking out prior to the server arriving, yet thought different of it due to preferring anything other than junk food, and the nearby Olive Garden. The server had a gut feeling about this as well, and presented me with a complimentary appetizer without me prompting anything from him. Very cool gesture. The entree (I think a Phoenix roll) was appetizing, and the eel sauce truly complimented the wasabi & ginger. While there were beer choices available such as Sapporo, I decided on a Coke instead due to a pending 3 hour drive on I-95 south. The additional small appetizer of broth was certainly a nice touch. The food and drinks are certainly reasonably priced. While the interior decor was okay but comfortable, the atmosphere seemed to be festive. Fancy Sushi seems to be a popular place that fills up quickly, so don't be surprised if you see a table of 12-15 people arrive behind you. Other than the parking lot being somewhat tight on space, Fancy Sushi is one of those places that I would look forward to returning to if I prefer a meal that is appetizing with less filling while either pass through or staying for a time in Palm Coast. read more

Always good always fresh great place!!! Been there numerous times and have never had any food not good. Great service too!!

While we were visiting some friends in Palm Coast, some friends recommend us to tried this place for dinner . The staff were excellent, made great recommendations and were very helpful in helping me pick from the menu when I had questions. The complimentary appetizers were exceptional, as I've only been once I don't know if they are the same every day, but the ones I was given were excellent. Prices are what you would expect. I got a JB and asked to Add avocado on it, it was delicious. My wife got the chicken fried rice and it perfect, tasty. Definitely when I come back to Palm Coast will visit this place again! read more

Went to Fancy Sushi with my family and we had a great experience! We had sushi and hibachi and everyone was really pleased with their meals. I had the dynamite roll, salmon roll and crazy girl roll, all were really good! My parents had the steak and shrimp hibachi that they said was flavorful and the meal was a ton of food. I will definitely go back. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because they had one waitress working in a crowded restaurant and she did a wonderful job, we just had to wait awhile for her to take our order. read more

Ordered an order for pickup and was hugely disappointed when I got home. At first sight, the color of the tuna was off, and the chicken fried rice was lacking veggies and visual appeal. Upon tasting the food, the spicy tuna rolls didn't taste fresh and soup and fried rice had no flavor. We will not be eating here again. read more

The worst ever. Just myself eating, sat at the sushi bar, ten minutes before a waiter appeared. Ordered wine and water, promptly delivered with Holiday roll. Waited another 15 minutes to order food, ordered Scallop Fried rice, well it was oil rice on a plate, no vegetables only oily white rice with four rubbery overcooked scallops. I would have returned it or ordered something else but I waited another 20 minutes without service. Finally went to the counter and asked to pay my bill. read more

horrible service both dining in and take out- waits are long and mostly get the orders wrong. If you have food allergies, absolutely stay away from this place- they'll tell you they can do it but they don't. I gave them too many chances and my body has had enough of them not taking it seriously. Selena is a manager there and will give you attitude from the phone to the store. If I call on a busy dinner rush (like everyone else ordering dinner) she'll tell me to order something else. read more
