Casual atmosphere, service was maybe just a bit too laid back for us but the food was good. Nice presentation on the sushi and reasonably priced all the way around. Lots of sushi restaurants to choose from in the area so we'll keep this one in mind and we may come back for a future visit. read more

Ambiance was modern Asian like geisha. Our server lacked any personality but she got all of our orders exactly correct. The sushi roll that I ordered was absolutely delicious. They have so many unique sushi rolls there and hibachi options. Hubby had hibachi and said it was delicious. read more

Decided to go to U Sushi tonight to try the soft shell crab, not very busy but a thunderstorm was happening at the time. Greeted immediately and seated. Our server greeted us took our drink order which was 2 glasses of the house wine Cabernet which menu said was $7 a glass. We also ordered the soft shell crab appetizer and rock shrimp. We also ordered the rainbow roll and amazing roll. The inside of restaurant was nice, serve good as well as the food. My disappointment was when we left and my husband gave me the receipt and saw we were charged for $40 for 4 glasses of house wine which on menu said $7.00 for a glass. Hmm 4 x 7 =28 not $40. Very disappointed after seeing that. We could have got a bottle for less than that. I went with my husband for lunch today (Sunday) and it' was pretty slow, which is a shame because the service was great and the food was excellent! They were very friendly and attentive too. The restaurant looks newly renovated. We have very high standards moving from Philly and the restaurants in the area are generally pretty disappointing. They serve wine and beer. This is probably a 10/10 for Ormond beach! We had the sushi appetizer, pork dumplings (gyoza), rainbow roll, and a California roll. They even brought brought a little seafood appetizer to try on the house. We will be visiting them often! read more
