Ok was a little skeptical about going .... The name juicy seafood just doesn't do it. lol. Anyways. The interior is a little dark but nice. Our server Caden was amazing. Explaining everything to us in detail and even took our somewhat complex order with ease. The food came out in a timely manner and everything we tried was delicious. And we tried a lot. lol. Would definitely return if we have a sushi and hibachi craving.

Love this place! It's all-you-can-eat and the plates are always so good--definitely worth the money. The hibachi and the rolls are amazing. The service has always been great too; I've been here over three times, and even when we came as a group of 15, they kept up with everyone. The outside doesn't look like much, but once you walk in, it's completely remodeled, clean (even the bathrooms), and welcoming I'm glad I gave it a try.

We took our teenage grandkids to Sushi King for lunch and honestly, I'm not mad at it. For $17.99 all-you-can-eat, it's basically like handing hungry teenagers a golden ticket. They each put away about four rolls, so less than $5 a roll, and anyone who's ever tried to feed teenagers knows that's a bargain. The sushi isn't fancy; think more of a step above Publix $5 Wednesday deal vibes than fine dining, but it hits the spot. Service was quick, plates came out fast, and nobody left hungry. For the price, it's the perfect Daytona sushi stop when you just need to fuel up a crowd.

WOWZA ‼ Had some friends in from out of state & we were craving all you can eat sushi ‼ Checked Yelp reviews and chose SUSHI KING! OMG we absolutely loved our lunch. They have a new menu that made things simple and our servers, Alex & Leo were exceptional ‼ We had the superduper $29 per person all you can eat and it was likely the best sushi I've had since moving to Florida. I absolutely loved how many options they had, not only sushi but hibachi. If I had to pick a favorite, it was the mango salmon. We ended up getting three orders. if you haven't been here, you need to give it a try.

With a bit of a rocky start things overall were fairly decent. Walked in and 3 staff were busy organizing a cash drawer instead of greeting and seating guests, not sure why it took 3 of them but whatever. I got seated and ordered right away. My first pair of chopsticks were split down the middle so I just replaced them with another pair on the table. I got all of my food together despite ordering an appetizer and it was all pretty good. The nigiri seemed to be loaded with much more rice than usual and the tuna lovers roll with much less tuna on top. Service was pretty good and quick. Overall not my best experience but not the worst either.

We dined on a busy Saturday night. Despite the day and time, our wait for a table wasn't terrible. We were seated in a comfortable booth and was waited on promptly. We were informed that there was a very large party and staff was short, so we were a bit more patient. The food did take a bit, but as it's fresh we didn't mind. The ambiance could do with some better theming for sure. There are uncomfortably open, undecorated spaces which gave it a bit of a warehouse vibe. Did it have any influence on the food? No, but it's nice to have nice things to look at while you enjoy yummy food - which all of it was! These rolls were some of the best I've ever tasted. The eel was a personal favorite. Would absolutely dine here again!

Unfortunately, I can't leave my previous rating. We have been back 4 times since my initial visit and each time hasn't been the same and progressively worse. Upon walking in we were also told to wait, no problem. We waited for several minutes, then phone calls ensued. Our party of four just kinda looked at one another in dismay as the hostess was on the computer and phone. He didn't acknowledge for several more minutes, despite trying to make eye contact. We were the only ones waiting. The restaurant wasn't very busy, but I believe they were probably short staffed. We were patient, but couldn't see why they wouldn't just seat us. I gave him a couple more moments, then said "sir, can we be seated "? He responded that he was very sorry for forgetting us. While dining, our order was brought to another table left there, then the server went back grabbed it, walked to the sushi bar and pretended like the whole thing didn't happen. We asked if this was left at another table and he said yes, but nothing was touched. We honestly should've walked out. How were we to know it wasn't touched? The whole experience overall was poor today, including the rolls. They just looked lackluster and taste was low. The hibachi was good! Hence the 3 star, sushi was a 2, but Im giving them the benefit of the doubt.

Frequent visitor of Sushi King, absolutely love this place! Food is always fresh and delicious, I always go for the all you can eat sushi during lunch. Lunch price is $17.99 per person, and dinner is 23.99 per person. The house salad is very fresh and loaded with delicious ginger dressing. The crab rangoons and shrimp shumai appetizers are outstanding! Next, moving onto the sushi rolls, my favorites are the rainbow roll, sunshine roll, and white dragon roll, paired with yum yum and eel sauce, delicious! Our server was Bobby today and he was great! Very friendly and attentive and checked up on us frequently to make sure we were doing good. Nothing could make me stop coming to this place, hands down best sushi place in daytona. Can't wait to be back!

For all you can eat it's surprisingly good quality and fantastic service! We came on a Sunday for lunch and it was slightly busy but not packed. Our server was super attentive and friendly and explained their system which is the same as every other AYCE table order place. Order on the slip and it comes to your table as it's ready. Nice variety of sushi and non-sushi plus a kids section. We started with miso soup (nothing special but good), house salad (creamy ginger dressing not too sweet), and seaweed salad (premade stuff but still tasty). The beef yakisoba was well seasoned and not oily but the sauce coated the noodles so well. The beef was thin and overcooked but it was overall very flavorful and you can get a whole squeeze bottle of white sauce for it. The fried calamari was perfectly cooked with still tender meat and light as air batter - so much better than many regular restaurants can do. The jalapeño tempura are stuffed with krab salad and fried so there's still a crunch to the pepper but it's not raw. The sushi was pretty well constructed. Rice was a bit mushy but held together at least and wasn't dried out. The sashimi was good quality and cut properly so you can easily bite through. Do note they charge 50 cents per piece of sashimi vs nigiri which is included with AYCE. It's very clearly stated and I feel like its fair especially with the size of the slices. The tuna actually had flavor, the salmon was tasty and buttery, the mackerel was a bit waterlogged but had a nice vinegar flavor. The tamago was also a bit waterlogged and quite sweet but the eel was nicely grilled and fatty. The place is huge with interesting decor features like a waterfall fountain, terra cotta guards and horses. It was nice and calm in there, darker wood and more of a chill vibe. Space for private parties too. Overall you can't beat the $24 price (dinner price all day Sunday, lunch all other days is $18) for the quality and quantity.

Stopped by this place on my short stay in Daytona and it was very pleasant! The wait wasn't bad on a Friday evening (4pm), but more people did start showing up while I was dining. The service was really fast too. There is a lack of air conditioning, but it might have been due to the hurricane damages. It's not exactly hot, just a bit humid. The price of $24 for all you can eat dinner is really good! Especially with how many items are on the list. There's a 10% off for Yelp check-ins as well that was applied. Overall, a great place for sushi lovers. The miso soup is notably really good! Didn't even have the chance to take a picture.

I had a bite and thought it was weird and my husband tried a bite and said the same. I started a second bite and spit it out. I told the yaki cook and he said he did not recommend him making another because they were all "like that". Our server pretty much disappeared after the food started so we had to ask for him. When we told him about the lobster he seemed to have heard it before. He asked us if it tasted old and we said yes. He said he could not do anything without talking to the manager. She asked him to bring the plate back but spice I was still eating the scallops he said we could put the lobster on a side plate to go back for the chef to see. But then this manager woman came out and started grilling us about how much lobster we ate. She said it was a 6 oz tail and not near that much came back. I said I had a bite and hubs had a bite and there were 3-4 bites sent back to her so there's your 5 oz. She kept saying too much was eaten. We told her we've been there before without complaint. She said she would just take the lobster off the bill and we said that was all we were asking. She clearly thought we were scamming her for free lobster. As it turned out, the bill was $17 less with the lobster refund. We paid and left. No fun. Luckily we weren't seated by the door so we didn't freeze. our cook didn't do much of a show-- no shrimp tossing, and too much salt.

Great food, service was great and they had Yamagobo. Always a good sign…read more Check them out!
