Such a great Thai spot by the beach! We started with the spicy garlic edamame and it was absolutely amazing... bold, flavorful, and the perfect appetizer. I ordered the Pad Thai with a combination of beef, chicken, and shrimp, and it was delicious and cooked perfectly. Usually my reviews are long so I can give my readers ample feedback, but Ichi Ni San is SOOOO good that it literally needs no explanation. The environment is cozy, the people are so sweet and the food is down right bangin'! I highly recommend coming here especially if you love sushi as much as I do. I got a double Scorpion roll with extra yum yum sauce and extra eel sauce. These extra sauces were completely free; the double roll was an extra charge, of course. For appetizers, I got steamed gyoza and edamame. Every time I come, I love taking photos outside because the location of the restaurant is so beautiful. So if I could give a 0 I would. Upon walking into the establishment, I noticed multiple tables that hadn't been cleared. There was one available that I wanted cleaned but we were escorted to the rear of the restaurant where I was met with a horrible smell of cat piss. My kids and I went to this place for dinner. We got a poke bowl, the avocado eel roll, seafood udon, and Thai seafood soup. I think the poke bowl was the best! The roll was decent. The udon didn't have noodles, and my daughter, who usually gets seafood udon when we go places, actually couldn't eat it because she said it had a bad taste. I am so glad that I listened to you all. I'm going to start this off by saying I am a person who will fully eat Publix sushi and be happy so my taste buds for sushi may be a tad bit juvenile. Now let's get into the meat and potatoes or shall I say the rice and salmon. The sushi roll that I had was delicious. It's the one for salmon lovers and I can't remember the exact name but it has orange in it. Lol. My most favorite thing that I ate was the pork dumpling soup. This was hands-down, the best soup that I have ever had in my life the depth of the flavors, the pork, the scallions the broth it was all just amazing if I had just a pinch of spice I would've sold them one of my kids in exchange for the soup. My sister and I had her birthday lunch here after she noticed a line outside one time when she drove past. Upon first glance at the menu, nervousness set in. A menu with several different cuisine styles is usually a bad sign. And the sushi rolls, the reason we came, was just a short list of offerings. Another typical bad sign. Well, consider this place the exception that proves the rule! We started with the steamed shu mai (shrimp dumplings), which was garnished with fried garlic. Oh. My. Gawd. Why is *every* restaurant serving shu mai not serving it this way? Stunning. We also enjoyed the salmon nachos. There's only two, but that was plenty for us. We shared between us the Pink Panther roll and the Volcano on the Roll. They might have been the best rolls I have ever had. Certainly in the top 5. I cannot put my finger on what it was that made these so fantastic. It was almost like a brown butter taste? I know that sounds nuts, and I certainly don't know where the magic came from, but I do know it was absolutely incredible. The place is very small, so definitely plan to arrive early or wait. There is some outdoor seating, but those are obviously unpleasant during hot months. Our server informed us they would soon have a full bar, so some cocktails may also be in our future. The restaurant was crowded and busy (always a great sign, especially when the nearby restaurants were fairly empty), but we were able to get a table outside. We had the Hawaiian poke bowl, udon noodles, spicy shrimp ramen, and pad Thai. All were excellent. The berry sake cocktail was also amazing, featuring fresh berries. Prices are reasonable. We've been wanting to try ICHI NI SAN Asian Grilled Ramen & Sushi for foreverrrrr!! But everytime we go it's a packed house and finally we got to see why! We went around 4:30 on a week night and got sat right away. We ordered the Chicken Katsu teriyaki ramen and the chicken katsu Bangkok fried rice to share. Both were FANTASTIC.
