Oriental Garden has good food and plenty of it. The variety will surprise your taste buds and the cost will not break your wallet.

Everything ordered tonight was excellent! 7-17-25 Here's the breakdown: 1. Mei Fun with Shrimp 2. Mu Shu Pork 3. Moo Goo Gai Pan 4. Beef Lo Mein 5. Gen Tso's Chicken Appetizers: The gave me a FREE CRAB RANGOON! Thank you!! Sooo good! The beef on a stick was tender and flavorful! Definitely would reorder! Always a hit with kids! Everyone's dish was delicious, tender and veggies were perfectly crisp. I would definitely order everything again, minus the Lo Mein. That was my least favorite of the bunch. I prefer the Mei Fun noodles over Lo Mein. Personal preference! All the dishes were cooked perfectly and all requested accommodation's were done. No order errors on a large order! Yay!!! As a pit stop when I'm about town, and shopping at Winn Dixie in Flagler Plaza, I pop into Oriental Garden, for a carry out, but today sat down to enjoy the best Asian food in my 100 mile radius!!! So if you're on I95, North or Southbound, or on State Road #100 West or East to Flagler Beach, stop in and tell Jenny, that the lady who gets 6 to go sent ya... read more

My husband and I are new to Palm Coast and tired from moving. So we were looking for a Chinese restaurant and this one had decent reviews. This was our experience. When we were seated, the host swept it off with her hand and at proceeded, I noticed that there were crumbs on the table. There was also a bottle of sauce, and when I picked it up to see what kind of sauce it was the bottle was sticky with almost dried whatever. My husband ordered a large bowl of egg drop soup and I ordered one shrimp egg roll and shrimp egg foo young. He had a jaw infection from a broken tooth and he was very happy with egg drop soup. When one of the young men that works there brought our order to us he tossed it on the table right in front of us, causing the plastic containers to slide several inches across the table. It wasn't that everything was wrong. It was just not enough things that were right. The egg roll was so hard I could hardly bite into it and the shrimp bake foo young had two carrots and a piece of bok choy and egg and a few baby shrimp. There was a lot of foot traffic while we were there. I didn't count them but they had I would think at least 10 booths and at least one large round table in the middle. So they intended to have a sit down restaurant and there were a few people that came in and sat down and ate but over a two hour period. I counted maybe four people including us. It just was not our cup of tea. We thought we had paid for food that we didn't enjoy. read more

food was great and service was good. I'm honestly not sure why there are so many bad reviews. I really recommend the sweet and sour chicken and plain lo mein. read more

We order for delivery and we're very disappointed. 1. Special House fried rice (with special spices?) bland and mushy. As the most expensive fried rice dish on the menu it should have been tasty. 2. Kung Pow chicken with peanuts was overly packed with nuts but lacked the spiciness as there were NO hot red peppers, nor water chestnuts. It was more like light brown flavorless sauce with shredded chicken, chopped carrots, green peppers and what may have been green squash (???). The vegetables weren't even cubed as the dish is traditionally prepared. Even the white rice that accompanied the Kung Pow chicken was small grained and clumpy like cement mortar. How can a Chinese restaurant fail at preparing rice? 4. The Spring rolls were over fried and slightly filled with paste mixture that may have consisted white onion and cabbage. Mostly the roll was fried wrapper. All 3 diners spit it out as simply too gross to politely swallow. If you're searching for the worst Chinese meal in your life to add to your bucket list, this is the place. read more

Very good food. We usually do take out. Staff is very friendly. Tried several other take out places and always come back To Oriental Garden. read more

Always friendly and food does not disappoint. Cute little place to also come in and eat as well.

Ordered via Grub Hub, and I didn't eat it for 10 minutes after it arrived. Food was on time and everything was piping hot. I got Moo Goo Gai Pan (velveted chicken and vegetables), shrimp egg foo Yung and house special soup. The moo goo was just as it should be - garlic taste evident, seasoned well, chicken tender and plentiful. I would have enjoyed a wider variety of veggies like water chestnuts, bamboo shoots and broccoli, but the mushrooms, baby corn and Bok Choi were very good. This is a favorite dish that I always order and it was spot on. The egg foo Yung was nicely browned and had plenty of little shrimp. The sauce wasn't brown which puzzled me, but it tasted good anyhow. Leftovers are always good for breakfast! The house special soup is Wor Won Ton which is also an old favorite of mine. I think the won tons were house made, they tasted fresh. The vegetables were plentiful and the stock was well seasoned. The BBQ pork was tender. I only had a small bowl and I suspect if I'd ventured further I would have found chicken and shrimp. I added white pepper to the soup and the Moo Goo, so if you have some keep it handy. As a final word, if you have Amazon Prime you get Grub Hub free for a year, so I thought, why not try it? I am glad that I tried this place! We will order from here again. read more

This was great Chinese food! Not too expensive. We tried the General Tso chicken, coconut shrimp, crab rangoon, and egg rolls. Not enough coconut with the shrimp, but otherwise so tasty! read more

Oriental Garden was our family favorite until last night. We usually order General Tso Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Three Egg Rolls, and Crab Ragoon, and Brown Rice. The last time we ordered we noticed a dip in the quality of the food, meaning it did not taste quite as good as we remembered. And all of our family members agreed it was not as good. We decided to give them another chance because we have been ordering their food for years, but this time the food was much worse. The rice was grey, not brown, and tasted off. The General Tso did not taste the same as well. The Sweet and Sour also tasted quite different. The EggRoll and Crab Ragoon were fine however. Everyone was scraping their food into the garbage, this does not usually happen. We did not even put leftovers in the fridge like we always do. Everything was tossed away. We will start looking for a new Chinese Restaurant and will post here accordingly. Good luck in your great restaurant search! read more

Good food, good service, and family owned. Food is a bit cheaper but is good if you're looking for a good price.

Traditional and delicious New York style American Chinese cooking. The House Special Won Ton soup and the Singapore Mai Fun are my favorites. Eat in or take out, come for lunch or dinner. I give it 4 egg rolls (stars). read more

Update 4 years later . New owners so sad to see this place go down hill. Used to be my favorite to go place . Eggs rolls use to be my thing to get here recently something taste way off like sour taste threw the rest away . This place has the worst food especially the beef and broccoli. They use the cheapest beef you can't even chew it it's like rubber. I went there since the new owners took over a week ago and the old owners were filthy and shut down by the board of health. read more

Had another real good meal today. Party of 10, walked in, sat down no problem. One guy running the dining room and an older lady that helps. I guess they have a cook in the back. The waiter takes care of tables, take out, phone calls, checks, serving, drinks, and everything else. Dude works non-stop. Taking phone orders while delivering food to customers, Every table is his. I'd like to see the outback kids even try. The food was pretty good. No complaints or issues. Every order, even special requests, were taken no problem and delivered to the table correctly. The older lady doesn't speak much English so act accordingly. Watch out for the mustard and the chili oil, so good but be careful. read more

I have tried many Chinese restaurants since moving to Palm Coast from NJ last September. I still have to find a place that I can count on for good food. I tried Oriental Garden today and the only tasteful item on the menu was the egg drop soup. Pepper steak: steak was chewy and grisly but veggies and sauce were ok. Boiled dumplings (they should be steamed) were filled with a mystery meat and the wrapper was chewy too. Fried rice was hard and no flavor. Egg roll was not great either. I will continue my quest for decent Chinese cuisine! read more

Went here for dinner the interior is very dated and feels like I'm 1980's; it could use an update. The service was great. i was a little disappointed with my chicken with mixed vegetables it tasted sort of bland and lacked flavor. The sweet and sour chicken however, was delicious and the egg drop soup as well. I also ordered the dried chicken wings which were extra crispy and delicious. read more

I drove out of my way to come order food. I arrived and they were closed 45 minutes ahead of their posted closing time.

Not a very clean or appetizing restaurant. Craving Chinese food and thought we would give them a try. To be honest the cobwebs in the front windows should have been a major red flag. Rice was hard and old tasting with no meat. Pepper steak had no meat and a overwhelming amount of onions. read more

Another basic strip mall Chinese restaurant, which provides takeout service at a low price. We got a large order for takeout. The waiter was pleasant and the order was provided quickly and just as requested. The food was good and plentiful. Just keep in mind that you are not going to get premium food at these prices. read more

Discovered my order was incorrect when I arrived home with my take out. Food was also bland. Will not return!

Ok, wow! I mean, seriously. I'm in town for a business situation and haven't really been too excited about driving far from my hotel so far. I was at the grocery store and saw this little place (i believe it's called Shin Shin Oriental Garden) in the strip. Its a restaurant - doesn't look like much inside - with carry out service as well. I ordered the jumbo shrimp with garlic sauce (upon suggestion from the guy that took my order). I had ordered it because i wanted something spicy - which it really wasn't. BUT the shrimp were so huge and juicy. i've never had shrimp taste that good at a Chinese restaurant, or any other cuisine than straight up sea food. They were so sweet and cooked perfectly. Just the right texture. The sauce was good and the mix of veggies was very nice as well. I also purchased the crab rangoon. This order is 8 delightful pockets stuffed FULL with the cheese filling and crab. They were so good. The outside was crispy and delicious and i mean they were really full of the filling. Overall, I paid $14.98 for these two dishes and will have enough food for at least tonight and tomorrow. The portions probably could have served two people tonight and tomorrow. Please go! You won't be sorry. If the sauce had been a little spicier, I'd have given it a 5 star rating. read more

Oriental Garden - Dessert - Chinese Near Me - Palm Coast, Florida

Enjoyed a nice take out order! All the stand-bys were very good. Will definitely order again. People are friendly too.

We were very disappointed In the quality of our food. I ordered the General Tso's tofu. I was expecting a tasty spicy dish but it was bland and not at all spicy. It was supposed to come with broccoli but there were only 2 little pieces. My husband ordered sweet and sour pork. He said it was chewy and the pieces were mostly batter. There was no pineapple or green pepper in the sauce which usually comes with this dish. The rice seemed like it was sitting around for a couple of hours. We won't be going back. read more

Got " happy family" they've since disowned me. Pseudo crab is not even pollock or anything that came out of the sea - but some kind of molded starch ( needs to b taken to a lab). Picked through it and found a mound of slimy vegetables 5 thinly D of chicken and about the same of beef and 3 mid sized shrimp. All 4 $13 - don't waste your time read more

Got take out, spent $25 and I have enough food to feed a small army!! The portions are huge and the food is good. Not bland or greasy, which is a personal Chinese food pet peeve of mine I hate greasy Chinese food. Not a fan of the chicken teriyaki appetizer (not enough teriyaki flavor and the chicken was too fatty for my liking) but everything else was very good and will be eating left overs for a few days for sure. read more

Oriental Garden - Large portions for decent prices. - Chinese Near Me - Palm Coast, Florida

This is probably one of my most visited restaurants. It's close to my house, so I usually pick up carry-out and take it home. The food is always ready when I get there and the portions are good. I get Singapore noodles almost every time and they're seriously amazing. I just tried the chicken teriyaki on a stick this week and it was equally delicious! They also have one of the best egg drop soups I've found around Palm Coast. I will be back many more times. read more

Did a large group order through DoorDash - everything arrived hot and no missing items.

We ordered two meals earlier this week. The food ready on time and was delicious. We shall order from the Oriental Garden again.

This is a great place! Food is cooked to order and always hot!! We go there about once a week when we are in Florida.

I've been a customer for 12 years now... usually pick up a lunch special before 2:30 and reheat at home for dinner. One lunch special is more than enough for my wife an myself. "Hank" is the man you most probably will deal with and it is always a pleasant experience. One lunch special and a PU PU platter off the app. menu is plenty for 2 dinners for us... read more

Due to the fantastic reviews on YELP I tried this place. Number one I should have left when I used the filthy restroom. On a hot day A/C turned off... help seemed beat and uninspired.... sat at table- soy sauce, duck sauce, mustard, salt & pepper shakers & napkin holders full of gross filth - haven't been cleaned in months. Was it packed in there? NO - I could see if it was dirty from a busy weekend but this was on Thursday lunch. Dead as a doornail in there. The lunch menu is appealing as everything on there is CHEAP. Lunch was only $6- I overheard the next table saying her food was nothing to write home about...BLAND Got the Jumbo shrimp w/garlic sauce- came with a free hot and sour soup that was watered down and very boring. Lacked any flavor. Then came the main dish- four big shrimp with fried rice. Now I eat lots of Chinese food and most of the time you get lots of grease. Not one speck of grease in the meal...all was watery- NO FLAVOR - overall rates one of the worse places ever... When I went up to pay the red countertop was caked with filth...WTF I wonder what the kitchen looks like and when was the last time the health inspector came????? I see all previous reviews are over 6 months old...must be a new owner- new cook - new management ???? read more
