We moved a two-bedroom apartment into a three-bedroom condo two days ago. Our movers were on time, efficient, and showed they cared about our belongings by wrapping up furniture and carefully moving it down our very narrow, very Boston staircase. When we mentioned that we had just had a deep cleaning and were trying to minimize mess, the movers put down blankets as they walked through the house and even wore the disposable shoe coverings we provided them, which they really didn't need to do, but the fact that they did showed they had the utmost respect for our home and move-in experience -- and they were just very kind individuals all around. The final price came in just about at the estimate and there were zero surprises. I was also relieved they didn't make me fill out a complete, room-by-room inventory of what I needed moved. They charged a very reasonable flat hourly fee based on how many movers I requested (I went with three, which worked well).
