My house has been on the market for a month, so Hingham moving dropped boxes at my door unsolicited, as an introduction/flyer. recognize the attempt at differentiation, but its been a month on the market and I already have received dozens of flyers in the mail, so I have a mover lined up. I called Hingham Moving services 5 mins after the boxes were dropped and asked them to please remove them. They just hung up on me, no apology, explanation nothing. Now all i have is boxes I dont need, with their name on it, for the trash. read more

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! From the first phone call to the last box off the truck this experience was perfect. Josh in sales is so helpful and hyper responsive to any questions. The team of movers were very polite and professional. They made moving day enjoyable... yes, enjoyable! As a Coldwell Banker client were received a complimentary kitchen pack. What a time saver for us. I highly recommend Hingham Moving Services for your next move. read more

We hired Hingham Moving for the second time to move us into our new home. Once again, they were fantastic! On time, worked hard, packed us up and moved us quickly and without a hitch! Josh, it was a pleasure working with you and your company! Would hire them over and over! Highly recommend! read more

I've used Hingham Movers twice, and both times have been excellent experiences. The crew was friendly, professional, and handled my belongings with care. They arrived on time, worked efficiently, and were well-organized throughout the moves. They're currently storing my items, and their team has continued to be responsive and helpful whenever I've needed assistance. read more

Extremely difficult move with Hingham Moving Company. Keys lost, furniture damaged, boxes mislabeled, packed in chaos, and misplaced, fragile and sentimental heirlooms broken. Keith was dismissive and insulting about concerns, saying that "little things that happen" and told me I was "just having a difficult time." Promised everything, delivered the most stressful part of the move. The experience was unprofessional and disappointing. Given the damage, disorganization, lack of accountability, and condescending communication I cannot recommend this company. read more

Cannot recommend Hingham movers enough! We've used them 3x and I had to take a moment to share how fantastic they are. They made moving as easy as possible and everything went so smoothly each time. The team works together very well, they're punctual, respectful, quick and so genuinely delightful each and every one of them. HMS took away all the stress of moving. Keith the owner could not have been kinder to us and communicated with us in the weeks leading up to the move as well as checking in afterwards. They went above and beyond for each of our moves, hire them! read more

contracted this company to do a move of furniture into a pod. Move was completed, and days later, a small gouge was noticed on a wall. When this was brought up they said "they didn't do the damage but they would fix it anyway on Wednesday." Everything solved right? No. I told Keith the reason why I wanted it fixed was because I felt the cost was high for moving furniture from my house to a pod 25 feet away, so yes, I wanted it repaired. Keith then texted me to find somebody else, we're not going to do the return move because "they don't do business this way, and they'be moved the Patriots and presidents!" Wow! So thanks, will find another company that will do the move just as well, and for less money, AND they'll stand by their work. Thanks for nothing. read more

This place was A+ from start to finish! We had the BEST experience ever. After hearing nightmares from others we could not believe the service we got from these movers! a highly recommend! read more

Fantastic. Easy to work with, RESPONSIVE, professional, friendly, thoughtful, timely, Highly recommend. read more

Buyer beware. Be very careful using this moving company as they tend to provide high estimates on weight driving the quote up substantially. I received quotes from 3 moving companies in the Marshfield/Hingham area and Hingham Moving was close to 30% higher than the other two. We obviously went with one of the other two companies and were very satisfied. read more

I've moved more times than I care to remember. A few of those times, I used professional movers. And each time, I was disappointed. So I had some trepidation about using a moving company again, but I also didn't want to move myself in the middle of July. After getting several estimates, I went with HMS. They're local and they included everything. And by everything, I mean EVERYTHING. Keith brought me boxes, tape, wardrobe boxes, dish barrels, and wrapping paper. On the morning of my move (one week ago), the truck pulled up when it was supposed to. The movers took great care of my furniture, including taking apart my bed (then putting it back together). They wrapped everything with pads and/or shrink wrap and bagged my bed (most other companies will bag your bed, but you have to buy the bags). The guys put everything where it belonged in my new place; they even helped with a bit of interior design. Throughout, they were professional and friendly, to the point that they'd even ask if they could use the bathroom. I cannot say enough about this company. This was the easiest and best move I've ever made. Oh, and Keith is even coming by to take the empty boxes away. I feel good knowing that they'll be used more than once. It would be a shame to toss into recycling. Bottom line- 5 out of 5. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality move at a reasonable price! read more

These guys were great. We had a short move two towns over and got a quote from them just to double check the company we used last time. Much better price, super friendly, fast and professional crew. They packed up a 5 bed house and unloaded everything to storage in under 6 hours with no damage to the house or our stuff. Well definitely use them again coming out of storage. read more

Great communication, highly professional and prompt. Took great care in moving our items as well

I would use their services again in a second. In an industry with a fair amount of "shade", Keith and his team were reasonable, reliable, ethical and professional. I was actually referred by a friend so all I can say is...THIS COMPANY WORKS ! read more

I very rarely post recommendations but after working with Keith and the team at HINGHAM MOVING SERVICES twice (once for a Hingham to Hingham move and this time from Hingham to south Florida), I knew I had to pass along my thoughts. What an incredibly easy and stress-free experience! From start to finish, everyone involved with my move (Keith, who was my point person; the team in Hingham; Christian and his team in Florida) was professional, responsible, respectful and skilled. It's overwhelming picking up your life and moving it. This company made the move bearable. The Hingham Moving team went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly and they truly took pride in their work, making sure everything was handled with care. Thank you Keith and Hingham Moving Services! read more

I contacted Hingham per recommendation by another moving company who unfortunately couldn't accommodate my cross country move. Keith and Danny were absolutely fantastic in every way possible. They are consummate professionals. They arrived on-time. Communication was easy and prompt. I had some difficulties and needed some last minute accommodations and they did not hesitate to help me out. I have so much respect for them. Moving cross country, I expected things not to go well but I did not have to worry about a thing. My things arrived on time and in perfect condition. I can't say enough good things about this company. Also, you can rest assured they are federally registered at FMCSA and have a great track record with all kinds of moves, big/small; individual vs large companies, etc. Hands down, bottom line, they are good people. read more

I was very stressed about an upcoming move to my new, Cambridge apartment. Hingham Movers went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable, confident, and assured that each part of the move would go off without a hitch. They checked in with me multiple times before the move, and throughout the day-of. I didn't have to lift a finger and these guys were incredibly efficient! None of my belongings/furniture was damaged, and the men were beyond nice. I know I'll be using them for future moves! read more

Cannot recommend Hingham movers enough! Keith was amazing and a pleasure to deal with. They delivered all materials required for our moved and were there for us 100% every step of the way. Moving is a stressful event to say the least. Hingham took a lot of that stress away. They stayed in touch in the days/weeks leading up to the move. They made sure that any questions we had were answered and even came up with questions we should have asked. The crew that moved us was professional and efficient. We have a china cabinet with a lot of glass (shelves and doors). They shrink wrapped everything and it came through without a scratch. The time they estimated for the move was very accurate and the cost was very reasonable. You can't go wrong with this company. read more

"No problem" is the answer to every request & problem that comes up. They get the job done professionally on time. They are the BEST.

I hope my review helps others avoid this company. Rude employees, damaged items, and the owners are not professional.

I called a few movers before calling Keith, he was personable and friendly. I told him where I was moving (from the third flr (no elevator) to right across the street to a much larger first flr). The movers were fast, friendly and efficient. Plus the moving rate was better than all the others I called. Hopefully I won't be moving any time soon but if I do it will be with Hingham Moving Services. read more

I called Hingham Moving Services on a Sunday morning and spoke with Keith. I told him my dilemma with my move and he had 2 guys Danny and Robby at my house the next morning who worked so hard and Danny kept telling me to not stress and let them take care of it. Hingham Moving Service made a very stressful time for me to be calmer by not only doing the hard work but mentally supporting me through the day. Thanks guys!! I will be hiring them again in my near future!! read more

I wish I could give them 10 stars! If you want a fast, reliable, friendly, professional, moving company look no further! They moved all my stuff in record time in the rain! I had a stressful last minute move and Keith helped me from start to finish he even checked in a few days before the move to see if I needed anything! Keith, Alex, and the rest of the team were awesome and they actually made moving day fun! If I move in the future this will be the only company I will call! Horrible company. HMS has caused nothing but a headache. Keith was over paid and I was reassured the check would be on the mail. Do not trust Keith he lies and is dishonest.
