I work at a hospital that needs highly trained CPR certified nurses and I was referred to this business as a top rated facility I love CPRA class and I would definitely recommend it to everyone who is in the healthcare industry. Response provided was No. She was also not provided with aftercare paperwork as to what to expect. She was not to rest for the next 24-48 hours. She was not told to ice the injection if needed. When she went back the next day for the aftercare paperwork on Friday, she was told, it will be ready Tuesday. She's never had this type of injection before and thought she only receiving a quick pain relief shot. I took her back and Tuesday and was furious to say the least. Front office stated, paperwork not ready. I as her daughter asked if the Dr was available to speak with. They sent a young lady out. I know it wasn't her fault but my anger got the best of me, and no I did not curse at her. I did however raise my voice. A Dr came in to speak with me because everyone in his lobby could hear me yelling, they are negligent. How could they allow an elderly person to drive themselves home following a procedure like that. The Dr then asked me for my Medical or scientific evidence stating or proving a person is not to drive themselves home or anywhere else afterward. I brought up the fact of no information about an ice pack on the injection area if feeling discomfort. Dr then asked me for my medical evidence again. He stated he went to school for many years to build his practice with his colleagues and he felt disrespected by me. Seriously Sir! I feel you have no respect or care for your patients by conducting these procedures and allowing patients to drive right after. I said thank God Shes ok. He mocked me and said Yes, thank God. We did our job and Shes ok. If anyone of have family who go there for procedure, have them stop. Just my opinion. If you are familiar with these procedures, You are not and Drs will not provide service unless you have someone to drive there and back home. Loss of sensation or numbness can occur anywhere from 24-48 hours. This office and there Drs are something else and I'm also reporting them the Medical board. No stars for them. They are horrible. For some unknown reason I was intubated and they were so reckless, I left with fat and split lips, as if I was punched in the mouth With one notable exception the nurses were terrible they were unable to find a vein for the IV, but kept trying 4 times, until I told them to get someone else that finally got the IV started While in recovery, I was feeling poorly and asked for some juice or something to eat, the nurse told me I would be released soon and can eat at home. I told her I'm a diabetic and have been fasting for more than 12 hours she then says I don't think we have anything but I'll go check , just before surgery I saw them roll a full cart of food and drinks past my stall, that nurse mentioned they are restocking the food for surgery patients, so I know they had plenty of things to eat and drink, after awhile the nurse came back with just a sandwich and nothing else no juice or anything to drink. It's as if they don't care about their patients Additionally upon arrival I parked and followed signs through a building and down a long hallway to get to a door, which on the other side had someone sitting there saying I can't come in this way. So even though it was difficult for me to walk, she made me go back the way I came drive my car to another entrance and enter the building that way. The management thinks that's an acceptable solution. Rather than having signs asking patients to use another entry, they kept the signs up directing patients to essentially a dead end. No regard to patients with poor mobility.

After my ACL surgery I was referred to this group by my doctor to complete the months long rehab process. They worked with me once a week, starting with basic leg mobility and eventually full agility drills. I communicated my goal to play basketball and soccer with 100% effort and address the muscle atrophy that had occurred. They took that to heart and the treatment always felt tailored towards my specific needs as opposed to just running through a standard list of exercises. My doctor was always impressed by my progress during the monthly check-ins. I would absolutely recommend AVMC for any rehab needs and would go back if, heaven forbid, I get injured again.
