I recently took this CPR and AED/First aid class and I was impressed with the results. The course was well-structured and incredibly informative, with a balance of hands-on practice and clear, concise explanations. Miss. Turquoise was not only knowledgeable but also patient and engaging, making sure each participant felt comfortable and confident with the techniques we were learning. The class covered all the essential aspects of CPR, including how to perform chest compressions, use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator), and administer rescue breaths. I was also given the opportunity to practice on mannequins, which helped me feel more prepared in case of an emergency. The pace was perfect--fast enough to keep things interesting, but slow enough to ensure I absorbed everything. What stood out the most was the emphasis on staying calm and thinking clearly during an emergency. My instructor gave me real-world scenarios that made the importance of knowing CPR feel even more urgent and meaningful. The class also included helpful tips on how to recognize the signs of a heart attack or stroke and how to respond appropriately. Overall, I left the class feeling much more confident in my ability to act if I ever find myself in a life-threatening situation. I completed my BLS course here, and Turquoise is an amazing instructor! She is very friendly, welcoming, and very involved during demonstrations and group practice. She made sure to give us constructive feedback during practice and made sure that we were prepared for the exam questions at the end by providing useful explanations and answering questions. The environment of the classroom itself is very clean and adequately supplied with mannequins, barrier devices, and other materials you'll need during the course.
